i agree with that, piecemeal armour, but which you do need to take the time to don or remove.
and yes, i like that idea, provided you use the apropriate skill to do so. leatherworking, sewing, armoursmithing, all would be important skill sto use, possibly needed together in order to make certain armours. and of course you would need tools...

Of course, these tools would be best sold by a professional armorer; who could be a retired adventurer with years of experience in the appropriate skills and be able to train others...

Chieftain Twilight well, in EVERY game i have played, drawing a weapon is quick and simple. Depends how quick the draw is. There are games which have a skill or trait of some sort for "quick draw."

A skill or trait that means a weapon is readily faster than it normally would be. Like a gun-slinger in a dual who can pull out his gun and shoot his opponent while his opponent is still pulling out their gun(as the opponent does it at normal speed). I don't know how you would implement such an idea in you system as I have on idea how it works, but it is an idea to consider.

ah, you mean like Quick Draw from D&D for example. smile it's certainly true that there are abilities and skills which make drawing a weapon as quick as a twitch, but what i meant to say was that even normal Draw-speed is quick enough to be simple in th egame.

Ah yes, you certainly don't need a special skill to just pull a sword out of a scabbard.
