You know that picture of the Republic class doesn't do it justice. This 3d model of it from the Star Wars Warlords Mod does show it off nicely though. Republic-class Star Destroyer

We work out of the local Sector Group base of operations, which is in a system I'm currently working on called Vakara. In addition to us its the base for the rest of the naval forces stationed in the sector.
Did I mention there's an ocean moon that's used as a dedicated rest stop for fleet personnel on shore leave? Caribbean like environment for the Empire's finest to rest at. smile
Edit: I'd suggest DP25 Corellian Gunships or Assassin-class Corvettes instead of the standard CR90.
