The characters in particular that I want to cosplay as are Tifa from Final Fantasy VII (Advent Children version) and Makimachi Misao from Rurouni Kenshin. I think that Misao is the one that I'm leaning more toward right now though. =3)

< wasn't going to post until she realized it would get her a death note...^_~...also will talk to her friend tomorrow (sorry Chibi K!!! Today was crazy, for one when I got home I had to put my bed back together because apparently it fell apart, guess I need to stop jumping on it so much ~_~).

((EDIT: Ok I actually talked to him just now really quick. He doesn't find patterns he knows people who make their own patterns and then he has two seamstresses - so basically he makes a financial investment.

Options he has:

- Thrift store/flea market hodge podge creations (cheapest)

- design own pattern/make own cosplay (or do one of these things and find someone to do the other for you).

- comission a pattern and hire a seamstress (most expensive)

- check ebay/amazon or what not to look for people selling off cosplays, cosplay parts (price will vary). People MIGHT also sell patterns online, that'd probably be a harder search but you could try.

Doubt that was anymore helpful than what you already have. I'm sure that people who design patterns do occassionally upload them online, just not sure to where or how'd you go about searching for those. I'd say it's probably best to just check out thrift stores first and see what you can find pre-created that suits your needs (take pictures of the cosplays you want to help you keep a frame of reference). Then figure out buying or making the rest. Sorry that's all I've got.))
