Ishio's smile widened as she spoke. "It's a mutual feeling then, Lina-chan." Ishio chuckled as he noticed her mispronounce his name, but she didn't bring it up. "Arigato means thank you." He rested his chin on top of his knuckles and smiled. It was a good thing most of the students at the school had learned english. Such a universal language was almost a mandatory skill that one must learn. Ishio took a sip of his coffee and set it down before looking back at Lani. "Well then, what do you enjoy doing, Lina?" He felt like learning some things about her, seeing as he was actually starting to like this girl. A great idea ran through his mind and he decided he'd wait till later to ask.

"Oh, I ask because on the islands of Hawaii, we say Mahalo." Lani told him with a smile, blinking as he mispronounced her name not once, but twice. But she didn't really take any offense to it. She actually thought of it more as a cute nickname created for her, by him, which made it all the more special to her. At his next question, she tapped her finger against her chin as she looked up innocently, as if thinking deeply about the subject. "Well, I love to surf and swim. Anything that has to do with the ocean mainly. But I also love to chill out on a nice, rainy day and play my guitar." She said with a pleasant sigh. "What about you Ishio? What do you like to do?"

((xD Wow... I'm spacing out. xD Tired as hell...))
"That all seems like fun. Maybe we can go to the ocean on a vacation. It's not to far from town." Ishio smiled, knowing it sounded like a romantic date. When she asked what his hobbies were, he looked up and made a 'hmm' sound. "Skateboarding, playing the guitar, and drawing. A lot of kids seem to be into playing the guitar at our school." He laughed a little as he thought about Chi. She seemed to be a musician as well. Ishio decided it was time for the question. "How about we go see a movie tonight? Just me and you." His smile didn't falter as he asked Lani if she wanted to go on a date. Although, it was a bit harder to ask her than other girls, which was odd, but proved that he actually liked her.

[im strangely awake and hyper...--the hell is wrong with me...lol xD]
"Really? Heh, that does sound like fun. From what I hear, Japan has some of the best sea-side amusement parks in the world." Lani said with a slight giggle. She had already finished all of her food, taking another sip of her glass of water during a quick pause in their conversation. "That's really cool, that you can draw, I mean. I'm horrible at anything barely even resembling art." She told him as she sweatdropped, rubbing the back of her neck, laughing once more. But she stopped instantly, opening her eyes to meet his own when he asked her to a movie. She hesitated for a moment, stifling a million negative phrases that could have hurt anyone. But she just sucked it up and smiled, nodding slowly as she stared into his eyes lightly. "Sure Ishio, I'd love to see a movie with you tonight..." She told him before she giggled lightly, covering her mouth with the back of her hand in a coy fashion, nibbling at her bottom lip now. "It sounds like a lot of fun actually..."

((You're lucky haha. I'm sure I'll end up sleeping all day again. =P ))
"Did I sense some hesitation there?" He continued to smile, even though he was pretty sure that she wasn't to positive on wanting to go out with him. "Ya know, if you don't want to, I'm not gonna get upset over it." He laughed a little and brushed his hand through his hair to remove his bangs from his face. He'd be a little disappointed, but wouldn't mind that much if she didn't want to go. Friendship was perfectly fine. "Make sure you want to before you say yes." He chuckled slightly, trying to make a warm atmosphere between them.

[its 4 in the f-ing morning, ughh. XD]
Lani clasped her hands together, resting her elbows on the table before she leaned her head against her hands, thinking. "Hmm..." She muttered as she thought over all of the pros and the cons of an evening with him. And when the pros outweighed the cons, she smirked. She then stood up, moving her hands down so that they firmly were placed against the table before she leaned over to him, smirking the entire time until they were within kissing distance. "I wholeheartedly accept your invitation for a date tonight to the cinema Ishio." She said as she stared into his eyes for a moment, smiling all the while. But before anything could and most likely would happen, she pulled back and sat back down, giggling cutely. "Meaning that I would absolutely love to..."

((Ahh, PST. I'm CST. Illinois haha. It's 6 here. xD))
As she thought Ishio started to get anxious and was happy to hear that she wanted to go with him. When she placed her face mere inches away, Ishio's eyes went to her lips and he had a sudden urge to kiss her, but thanks to strong, iron-will, he resisted and watched her eyes as she moved away. "Great!" He said enthusiastically. He leaned back in his chair and placed his hands behind his head. He never would have guessed that he'd get to go on a date with such a cute girl the first day he started at Aimi High. The more he stuck around, the better it seemed to get. His eyes glanced back to Lani and he grinned. She was a foreigner as well. Of course, he wasn't thinking about a trophy date. She had actually caught his attraction with both her body and mind. Not something every girl could do. His mind soon drifted on the subject of which movie to go see. There were three at the cinema in town at the moment. A horror, romance, and comedy. He began thinking of what genre Lani would be most interested in. He decided he'd figure it out before they got there. "So, we'll go around six, alright?" He had leaned forward once again and had his cheek in his palm as his elbow rested on the table. "Don't worry about money either. I've got enough for the both of us." He smiled, excited about the later event.
((Gonna go pass out. Hehe, sorry. PM or comment me later! ^^ *waves*))

((i'm back guys. xd )) Chi waited for Kyuusei's answer. Hmm.. Maybe he's still thinking where... she thought. She sat on a bench nearby and opened her notebook. She began to write random things about her previous school. Back there, she experienced almost everything there is to be experienced by any teen. She first fell in love there and most of her friends were from there. Chi also has someone she truly loves, which was back there, at her old school. Now that she left that school and was transferred to this school, she was still having a hard time coping with the sudden change. Still scribbling and writing, she wrote all the stuff she saw back at the old school she was, then she accidentally wrote 'Shiko.' with a heart at the side. When she realized that, she quickly closed her notebook and looked up to the sky. She saw the clouds again, which meant a lot to her back then. ((waw, 2 pages already. nice one. xd ))

[[haha, ohk! ttyl =)]]
Lani, as she watched his actions and facial gestures closely, she smiled. She could almost tell what he was thinking, from what he was giving her. Like, when he looked down at her lips when they were so close, she could tell that he wanted to kiss her really bad. Well, if truth be told, she wanted to pull him close and kiss 'til dawn, but like that was really going to happen. Well, a girl could only dream right? But Lani was soon shaken awake from her daydream by Ishio's silky smooth voice, which just gave her pleasant shivers, all making their way down her spine. She just smiled at him before nodding, trying to figure out why she was acting like this around him. She usually was classified as 'one of the boys' back home, but that was probably because she could shred better than all of them combined. "Yeah roommate, six sounds perfect." She told him with a smile, nibbling on her bottom lip for a moment in a coy fashion as she did so. Then something hit her. "Do you think we should get back to school? I mean, if my parents found out that I got in trouble on the first day, they would put me in solitary confinement in my room until I'm eighty." She told him with a laugh, finishing off her water in one foul swoop as she did so.

((Well that was a few hours ago. xDD))
Ishio looked at his watch, but remembered something and laughed a little. "I don't think we have class today, but we should get back anyway. We still need to get you situated into your room." He chuckled and stood up, placing a good tip for Ania on the table and once Lani stood and followed, walked to the front and payed his bill. Once they were back on school grounds, he stretched his arms and yawned a little. "Where are your things anyway?" He looked around curiously, wondering where she had placed her stuff. Maybe the office had brought it to her room. He shrugged and waited for her response before continuing their walk. As they walked, Ishio noticed Chi and he waved at her as they passed by. He noticed her sitting with Kyuusei and he grinned, thinking that maybe something was happening between them. He turned back towards Lani and smiled, almost running into someone as he did. Thankfully, Ishio had a bit more agility and perceptiveness then most did, so he moved out of the way just in time, but accidently bumped into Lani. He grabbed her hand before she could fall and let go once he was sure she was standing upright. "Sorry about that, Lani-chan." He rubbed the back of his neck and felt kind of nervous that he'd done that. It had been a while since he'd seemed like such a klutz in front of someone. He hoped she didn't think of him as a fool or jerk for accidently bumping into her like that.

[Oi! Don't get all cheeky with me now love! lmao. XD]
Lani stayed silent throughout most of the walking, taking in all the hustle and bustle of Japan's main and colorful streets. They had to weave through many crowds of people, causing Lani to have the fear of getting lost in it all. And since she didn't know Japan at all, it would just be devastating for her. So she stayed extremely close to Ishio, although not wanting to hold onto him. But it was the thought of being so close to the handsome boy beside her that made her blush a light pink. At his question of her things, she blinked at him, slightly confused. Where are my things? She thought to herself before she remembered that her father was to bring them during his lunch hour, which would definitely be soon. While she was pondering this, a sudden force seemed to knock her off of her feet. She closed her eyes tightly, awaiting the hard impact of her body against the pavement that was to follow. But there was no such impact. This confused her greatly before she opened her eyes to see Ishio above her, holding her by her hand so that she wouldn't fall. For that brief moment in time, everything seemed to freeze in place for her. Even her heart seemed to skip a beat before speeding up once more. "I-Ishio..." She whispered gently before she was pulled up to her feet, now firmly standing. "It's okay Ishio, I'm just glad that you were there to save me." She then leaned forward and kissed both his cheeks, smiling all the while. This was a custom back in her community, used in acts of welcome, farewell, or gratitude. And Lani was definitely grateful to have a boy like Ishio at her side.

((=P *pokes*))
Ishio stared at Lani for a bit after she had kissed his cheek. He thought it felt nice when her lips were against his skin; they were soft. Yet again, that urge to kiss her raced through his mind, but he remained calm and collected, then began to walk towards the dorms with Lani by his side. He looked up towards the sky and thought of something at that moment. He looked towards Lani and wondered if she knew of the japanese cultures honorifics. She probably thought it was weird when he called her Lani-chan and he was pretty sure that she hadn't used any the whole time they were talking. He decided he'd bring it up once they got back to the dorms. Once inside, he removed the key to their room from his pocket and placed it in the keyhole, rotated it, and opened the door. He stepped inside and kicked his skateboard. He hadn't thought of moving his things since he didn't have a roommate earlier. He kicked down on the skateboard's tail, popping it into the air. Once it reached the ascension's peak, he grabbed the nose and leaned it against the wall near the door. He stepped into the living room and looked back at Lani, watching to see her reaction.

[*smacks hand away* Hey! Don't poke my fat mann! Me no likey! ><;]
Lani, while they were walking, noticed something. She noticed that Ishio was almost always glancing or looking or even staring at her. It made her feel a little self-conscious, but she strangely like it. Back in Hawaii, if a boy ever stared at her the way he did, she would've kicked their asses, that much was true. But with him, she actually felt like she was an actual teenage girl. Maybe it was just the puppy love that was blinding her senses at the moment, but she honestly didn't really care. She could honestly say that she was falling for Ishio. But all that inner thinking was soon disturbed by the sudden actions of Ishio when they finally reached their dorm room. The one that they would be sharing for the rest of this year, or the rest of high school. She was too embarrassed to ask mainly. But she smiled at him sweetly when she witnessed the little 'trick' her just preformed with his skateboard. She couldn't help but laugh before she shrugged off her backpack from her shoulders, dropping it to one side of the doorway. She then looked back at Ishio with a grin, clapping slightly. "Good show Ishio, very good indeed." She said in a playful voice with a wink. She then looked about the room, nodding in a slight approval.

((O_o;; xD Hmm... tired still...))
Ishio's smile formed into another grin and he shrugged. "I'm here to impress." He chuckled slightly and placed his guitar by a window, near his amp. Then, jumped on to the couch, lying down on it and looking up at Lani. "The rooms are over there." He pointed down a small hallway where two doors were parallel from eachother. He hadn't picked a room yet, so his things were still on the floor against a wall in the living room. "I haven't been in either, but I bet they basically look the exact same." He shrugged and closed his eyes. He didn't feel tired, he just felt like resting his eyes. He wasn't anywhere near ready to fall asleep. He snapped as he thought of something to do and he began to shuffle through his bag of clothing and other things. He pulled out a video game console and quickly hooked it up to the television set, then went through his games and picked out a fighting game much like Mortal Kombat. He became lost in the game as he began to play.

((Woooooow you guys can post quickly, 3 pages in a day!))
Mai took the paper from Ishio with a nod and a 'see you later'. About to fold the note, she giggled in reply to Chi and showed her, before placing it in her pocket.
As they moved towards the edge of the campus, Mai joined Chi on the bench and brushed a few strands of hair that had escaped back behind her ear. "I'm hungry," she answered Kyuusei with a grin, "I don't mind where we go though, I haven't a clue what the shops are like here."
