Kira smiled, hearing them but still irritated that her father had brought home more guys to try and impress her. Why couldn't he leave well enough alone? She would decide when the time was right and it was not right now.
He nodded. "My name is Monty. This is Theo, Clem, and Stire. They helped me search for Haiiro's parents." he said, indicating them in turn. They all bowed and then sat down as Monty indicated with his hand. He had told them Kira was cooking so they were rather happy.
Maralah rolled her eyes and walked to Kira. "Do not worry too much about it, I'll get another pan and help you. I'll make some fried green tomatoes while you finish up the fish."

Toshi nodded toward sthe other guys in greeting and glanced at Haiiro hoping he wouldn't go all hyper again.
Haiiro was observing the new guys nervously, half hiding behind Toshi now. He knew they were looking for his parents but... they made him uncomfortable. he gave a quiet "Hi.. nice to meet you" He then turned toward the kitchen wondering if he could help... even though he couldn't cook. he didn't want to stay out here with the guys though.

Kira smiled but then looked over at the two who were sort of crowding up the kitchen. "Uh, guys, I'm a bit calostrophobic so could you vacate out of here? The salad should be ready to eat so go have a snack. Mum and I will finish up shortly." she said, getting done with the fish and helping her mother with the tomatoes. She then decided to fry up some onions.

He sighed and nodded letting Thena lead him out. he went back to Toshi and sat down next to him... at the same time trying to make himself as invisible as possible. He hoped his parents were ok... but they were really strong so they'd be fine. After all they promised him nothing bad would happen...
Toshi served Haiiro some salad since the kid didn't seem up to getting it himself and glanced around the table. "Would anyone else like some salad?"

::she sits on Haiiro's other side in a bit of an effort to make the young one feel more safe, though she didn't know how much help she'd be able to offer, not being the least bit violent::

The young warriors all raised their hand and politely said, "We would." Monty then nodded. "So would I."
She felt bad for shooing them out but she needed room to cook and she and Maralah knew it would take longer with others in the room.

He served everyone salad since he seemed to be appointed the salad server (not that he minded). Never being one for awkward silences he tried to make conversation "So what do you guys do? Patrol and protect the village?" He was generally curious as to what positions they gave each other.
Haiiro was slowly picking at his salad but seemed to perk at the question. Learning about new things was always a fun and interesting distraction from his thoughts!

Clem looked up. "We're in training currently to become trackers. Monty's team tracks and patrols sometimes. Senna's team is the main patrol team for the Fenton foxes though. Trackers are basically hunters though if that's what you prefer to call us. I think most of us picked this job because Kira makes our lunches." he said, glancing over at the other two. Clem actually liked tracking and hunting but he wasn't sure about the other two who were now glaring at him. All of them were in their late twenties but they wouldn't be allowed to hunt and track on their own for at least another ten years.

Toshi smirked and nodded understandingly. He was about to say something when Haiiro interrupted
"Why would you pick it cause Kira makes your lunches? Can't you or anybody at your homes make lunches?" he was truly baffled by that. even Haiiro could maek his own lunch.. it was never as good as his moms but still.. "And do you starve if she doesn't make them?" That seemed silly to him.. maybe many demons here made them lunches?

Clem seemed to be the spokesman for their little group and Monty just settled back to see how his underlings would handle it. "We have our mothers who could I suppose, but Kira's cooking is excellent. Some of the best actually. There are certain young ones assigned to make lunches for certain groups. Monty's tracker group gets their rations made by Kira, other tracker groups have their rations made by a member of the leader's children. It's tradition."

He listened attentivly and nodded "Ohhh I see. So you come for Kira's lunches because it's tradition! But how did you know to join Monty's group for the good luches? *cheerfully* It's a good thing she cooks so well but what if she didn't.. then what would you do?"
Toshi choked a bit trying to contain his laughter. Haiiro really didn't get it! He was pretty sure it wasn't the luches that drew them to the group.

Theo then decided to speak up. "Well, to begin with, Kira used to make us food for school so we knew how well she cooked, and it was obvious who would be cooking since Monty only has one child." Then Satire spoke up. "Besides, Kira is super adorable."
