Looking over the rest of the crowd, she tossed her head arrogantly. Wasn't much to pick through to socialize with, was there? Lessee, there was the pyro with pancakes flambe slowly turning to charcoal, the skeez who had tried to talk to earlier, some apparently punk tough-girl wannabe who had left, a would-be rocker and his groupie (she'd give him points for the accent), a mechanic girl, a decent looking girl, and a comatose looking one. Dammit....
Sighing, she got up and walked out the door after fastening her pack back up. If the smell got into her hair, she'd never get it out and there was no way she would stand for that. "Later....," she directed to the room in general.

Axl nodded, grinning at her. "I totally am~" he said, in a sing song voice, totally ignoring overlooking her statement that she was in a band for the moment. "We're totally awesome. We're called Punk Killers, but I'm sure you've heard of us. We're totally big. Police escorts and everything. Man, I have so many groupies, like you wouldn't believe..."
He took a deep breath, realizing he was rambling. "Oh. Did you say you used to be in a band? That's nice. Uh.. Were you any good? I mean, obviously you weren't famous or I would have recognized you."

Jay rolled her eyes and grinned. Man, this guy was a joke! "Never heard about you either, sweetheart~" She imitated his sing-song tone perfectly. He might be interesting after all. Hey, anything to occupy your time here had to be treasured.
"Chyeah I was good! Damn Brittany had to go and get me a cop escort for wringing that little bitches throat... Not that it killed her or anything, nono. But that got me booted from the club." The memories were kind of funny, really, like the shade of purple Kim's face turned... "I was the bassist and background vocalist," This guy was much too self-absorbed to let her talk on like this, she realized, "how 'bout you?"

Carmen sat perched on top of the table still. She found sitting here was only just barely helping the time to not feel so monotonous. She started to think about how with all these new campers flowing in that she might want to arrive early and leave early.. or else she'd come at the end. She never wanted to come to a grouping when everyone was so clustered. It made the air hard to breathe.
And, did she just smell someone fart? or was that the mixed odor of all their perfumes, the bad food, the stale previously been barf, burning pancakes and whatnot. She almost felt envious of the fire enthusiast. At least, he was finding a way to enjoy mealtime even if the food was gross.
She observed the black and green girl who came to sit at the table. Wow... She at first thought the poor thing had been hosed in bioharzardous waste or something.
The one that got her attention was the whole, 'Axl Rose'. That got a "Ha!" out of her. She knew who that was. Now that she thought about it, maybe Welcome the Jungle would have sounded good in a place like this.

If looks could kill, the other camper would have certainly fallen to his death at Lucifer's feet. His eyes narrowed dangerously, an angry snarl on his maw, low growl rumbling in his throat. Almost calmly, paws placed on the table, Lucifer rose to his feet, the lashing of his tail betraying the fire that burned within.
"I wasn't done with those."
Flick, the lighter lite in his paw, flame dancing. Who was this ******** idiot to tell him what to do. GRRR! He HATED water!
"If I were going to kill someone, you'd know it."
There was no mistaking the dark and menacing glare he shot at the other camper, the malicious intent. He had picked up a napkin, setting it to the fire before tossing the flaming paper at the other, a warning.
"Now back off, or the next thing I set on fire will be you."

Helena looked up at Carmen's "ha!" and looked around. "Oh, wow, look at all these other people!" she watched them all curiously. They had such bright colors! She found the strange one from before that Noel had been looking at. The smell of the room had gotten worse, but she was starting to get used to it a little bit. At least her stomach wasn't churning anymore. Opening her bag, she took out her flute and opened the case. Scrutinizing it, she found that it was looking dull. She took out a soft cloth and started to gently polish it, humming to herself.
Edit: She looked up to see the teen with the lighter, glaring menacingly at another teen. Surprised, she almost dropped her flute and let out an audible gasp as she caught it. What was she to do? Was he going to hurt that other guy?

Axl raised an eyebrow at the 'ha!'ing chick, looking down his nose at her. "And what's your problem, chicky?"
Shaking his head and rolling his eyes, he turned back to the neon green chick. The chick with the bird tats was clearly jealous. "I'm the lead singer and lead guitarist, and ya'know, the general lead of the band. I write the songs too. I can't believe you haven't heard of us. You must live under a rock."
He poked at one of the nearby pancakes, wrinkling his nose, before turning back to her. "I've eaten some bad stuff on the road, but this stuff is nasty. So uh.. where'd you get your shades, girl? They're pretty sweet."

She may have appeared like she was zoning but she looked over to the door where she had seen the strange looking cheerleader. Serena smiled and waved goodbye to her. Ears flicking she smiled at the girl in the pink dress playing the flute. However, her eyes grew wide and she turned her attention to the rather upset audio who now set a napkin on fire. She looked to the burnt pancakes now wet on the table then back at the two. Any kind of conversation that might have had her attention before, nothing had her attention more then this.

Bobby just stared calmly at the other Audio as his temper sputtered. When the napkin was thrown at him, he stepped just far enough to the side to avoid being hit, then put out the napkin by stepping on it with his rear paw.
"Well I'm not into fire, so whatever. Just stay chill, we'll all get through this."
He bobbed his head in recognition of the warning and then took his tray and walked past the pyro, without a backward glance, looking for a much more tranquil table. He just knew that he and the pyro would be butting heads again before this camp was over. All eyes in the room seemed to be looking in his direction as he walked away. He just knew that he had to keep his cool.
He noticed a table where an audio was sitting and writing in a notebook, muttering something about dice and dungeons. He plopped down in a chair on the opposite side of the table and started scraping the burnt and undesireable parts off of his pancakes. Under his breath he muttered,"Well, I've already found a bit of tail I'd like to get to know better... if she'd just keep her mouth shut, and I've already got a threat against my life. Not bad for one psychotic morning!"
He took his first bite of pancake and thought that it didn't taste bad... for reprocessed poop!

All Jay heard was the emphasis on lead in every sentence. She chuckled lightly, also checking out the girl he'd just confronted. Meh, not that interesting. Back to mr. leader.
He was prodding one of those so-called pancakes. Yeah, Jay wouldn't have touched those. "Nasty is right. I didn't even bother with breakfast."
Her shades? Wow, he paid attention to something she was wearing. Big improvement. She grinned, tilting them down, "couldn't have been too different from the place you got yours, hot stuff."

Helena watched the boy keep his cool and walk away from what could have been a disastrous fight. She envied his calm manner. She would have been scared out of her mind in that situation. The fire-lover did frighten her a bit, but she couldn't take her eyes of of him. She wondered why he loved fire so much...
Helena put the polishing cloth back into the case and blew air into the flute to warm it up. Then she pressed random keys without playing the flute to get a feel for it. Finally ready, she played a simple melody to get her chops in shape. She had not played for a good two weeks and she wanted to make sure to not get rusty. The tune started out slow and weak, notes cracking here and there, but soon it picked up in pace and complexity, until a beautiful nocturne was produced.

Noel smiled dazzling, "Sorry mate can't say I have heard of you. Are you guys big in the states?" He gave a convincing tilt of the head and smiled at the other girl.
"Both you in a band then? We should all jam together. I play keyboard piano guitar in my spare time." Intruth Noel was good but he cared more about his appearance then music. The brit dug in his bag and revealed said guitar. It was almost as glamerous as the audio that held it, all decked out in pop culture stickers and customed with the british flag. It was a smashing sight.

When the flute music began to filter through the air, Bobby turned off his iPod to enjoy it's calming affect. That was a nice way to sooth the savage feeling that was rank in the Mess Hall.
Bobby proferred the flute player a smile of thanks as he gagged down another bite.

As the song ended, Helena frowned a little and adjusted the headpiece. Just a little bit flat..Anyone who wasn't learned in music wouldn't have noticed, but it bothered her. She looked up at the boy who was threatened earlier to see him smiling at her. Her cheeks flushed and she smiled back and giggled nervously.
Looking away, hoping he wouldn't see her blush, she saw Noel holding a strange object. She had never seen an instrument like it. It resembled some sort of hybrid between a piano and a guitar. Intrigued she asked, "What is that?" as her eyes wandered back to the boy who smiled at her to see if he had seen her blushing. She blushed a lot, she realized..and that made her blush even more as she bit her lip.

Neol beemed down at the lolita dress wearing girl. She was blushing and Noel thought it was at him for a moment but wrote it off as her just being bashful.
"Oh this?" He offered it to Helena to hold, "Its a keyboard guitar, pretty niftey eh?" He beemed down at her. "Your flutes pretty rad too." The brit mod gave the flute a once over before giving the other a nod of approval.
