Cat finished up with the sandwich and cut it in half, then put it on a plate and handed it to the girl. "Black Cat," she said, "And no, she didn't." She might have been less willing to make a deal for the girl's safety if she had known that she was nothing more than a duplicate.... But she didn't think she could have allowed a living child to die, no matter where it came from.

Rosie smiled up at her and went to take the plate, then realized that her hands were full. She put down the blood and put the two sugary looking plates back into the fridge. She picked the blood back up and turned back to Black Cat. "Thank you." she said sweetly as she took the plate.

Cat raised an eyebrow. "You're welcome. Do you want anything to drink, or is that what the blood is for?"

Rosie blinked a moment, then looked down at the container in her arm. Blood? Is that what this stuff was? Oh well. "The guy lying on the couch asked me to get him one when I came in to get something." she replied looking back up at her. "I should probably take it to him first. Um, is their any chocolate milk in here?" she asked.

Cat opened the fridge to check. "I didn't see-" Prominently, at the very front of the fridge, was a carton of chocolate milk. Cat blinked, then smirked. "Almost forgot who's house this was. Go ahead and take the blood to whoever wants it; I'll bring you a cup."

"Alright. Thanks." she replied with another smile. With both her plate and blood in hand, Rosie turned and headed off for the larger area again. This Cat lady seemed really nice. She wasn't sure why one of the others would have just left like that. Especially not if they liked her. Something had to have come up. Well, she wouldn't think about it now...she'd have mom or someone find her.
She walked back into the room and up to the man lying on the couch. He glanced back at her and gave her a slight smile. "Thanks, kid." he said as he took the blood from her.
"Welcome." she replied. "What do you want with blood anyway?"

Cat followed her out with the glass of chocolate milk, just in time to hear the question. "Please," she added with her slight, cat-like smile, "Enlighten us." It suddenly occurred to her that this man was the only person who hadn't introduced himself.

Just a refreshment." Reaper replied simply as he opened it enough that he could stick his fingers into it. The blood moved and swirled, much like the last time, untill it formed a small twister from his fingers to the bottom of the container. After a few moments, every drop of the blood had been absorbed into his fingers.
"It's been a bit of a long day..." he sighed as he placed the empty container by the other one on the floor.

Cat cocked her head slightly to one side, then gave a mental shrug and handed the little girl her glass of chocolate milk. At about that point, she noticed War Machine. "It is getting very crowded in here," she muttered. And loud. She already wanted out. How the hell was she supposed to stay cooped up here until the demon was dealt with?

"Wow, that was cool!" Rosie said as she took the glass from Cat. "Do you have a lot of powers?" she asked.
"A few...just depends on if I'm having a good day or a bad one. This one started out good..." he replied, then sighed. He took a glance back at the man who entered and grinned slightly. Ah, the guy who let the scarecrow on fire.
"Hmhp. As long as they're all not staying..." he mumbled as he turned back around.

Rosie glanced over at Spider-Man as she took a sip of her chocolate milk, then looked around the room a moment. The boy she was with was still standing by the doorway. Really quiet. Maybe he didn't want to wake up whoever was sleeping. All the other guys looked like grownups...even the guy who wanted the blood. But he was the only one on the couch at the moment, so it had to be him Spider-Man was talking about.
"What's an Emo?" she asked, turning back to the man on the couch beside her. "Does it have anything to do with that Elmo on tv?"
Reaper, who had looked a bit annoyed a moment ago, suddenly smiled and chuckled a bit.
Rosie blinked at him a moment, then glanced around at the others. Ok, guess it had nothing to do with Elmo, so she was out of ideas. Come to think of it, how did she even know this? She hadn't been alive very long, and now that she thought about it, she'd never watched tv before. Well that was going on the to-do list. Mom must have done a good job when she gave her knowledge and stuff...but not enough. Well maybe she wasn't supposed to. Kids didn't know everything, right?

(( OOH! OOH! PICK ME! PICK ME! I WANNA TRY PLAYING HIM! ))
Wolverine walked up to War Machine, and said "Hey, Tin Man, how're you doin'?" He had been paying attention when Danny had mentioned the reserve Fantastic Four. If they were going to get back together again, they needed a new heavy hitter, to replace Gray Hulk. War Machine qualified as a very heavy hitter.
Danny, walking in from the other room, saw War Machine, and started thinking the same thing. War Machine would be perfect. His massive array of weaponry would be an excellent compliment to Spider-Man's agility and speed, Wolverine's close combat prowess, and Ghost Rider's ability to finish almost anything. It would work perfectly.
Rorschach stayed in the kitchen. Still eating his beans. Didn't want to eat in sitting room. Impolite. Watched Black Cat re-enter. Made a point to focus on eating. No help from her. Only use for her was enacting personal desires. Rorschach didn't like that. Personal reasons.

This time when she opened the fridge, Cat tried thinking about what she actually wanted. Sure enough, when she opened the fridge this time there was a decent piece of pizza--meaning one with meat. Pulling back out, she noticed that Rorschach was pointedly not looking at her... Or at least his head wasn't pointing in her direction. Fine by her. She took her food to the actual table and sat down to eat.
