Knights of The Round will murder any summon on FF 1-12.It's almost like the ultima summon.(13 and 13 Versus summons might do something).

I'd choose one of three things.
1. KotR
2. Any Bahamut
And finally...
3. CHOCOBO!!!!!

Personaly, my prefrences where the bahamut variants (bahamut, neo, and zero) and of course the pheonix.
my reasons, the Bahamuts are dragons and dragons = love in my book (as if the avi wasn't a giveaway) and the pheonix was handy when paired with final attack.
also for those who would chose KOTR, KOTR was sadly overpowerd, too long and took far too much to level up (at least 2 times what you needed per level for Bahamut zero) and it took all the fun out the games bosses (specialy the end bosses)
