"Huh? Oh, Renault." She smoothed her hair and looked up at him. "Did you see that? Of course not, I'm silly. Well but--- I'm just distracted... Really busy lately... I miss hanging out with you guys..."

Nino smiled. "Oh I see. Thanks Renault. That means a lot. You know, I think we should talk more often."

Amelia looked over to Rei quite calmly at his strange shout, just waved and giggled. "Hi," she called over. "Feeling more yourself now?" she questioned good-naturedly.

"Rei's back, and that signals that all's as it should be. Coming, dear?" Rhys said, taking her hand in his as they stood up. They'd stood up right in the middle of a slower dance number, but hey--it's not hard to pick up on slow dances. They moved slowly about, their bodies circling and pressing against each other.

"Yup, I suuuuure am, Amelia!" He looked around, displeased at the laxness of the partygoers. "Geez, you guys did a number on them, didn't you?"

He let out a gasp as he saw Nino. "Hiiiiiii~!" He shouted, flying at her in a tackle. "I've been great! Things are so fun around here! You've been busy, I guess, which is good, but you're here, which is awesome!" He gave her a big squeezehug, and then stared, bright-eyed, waiting for a response.

Bramimond approached the obviously confused Nino. He felt sorry for the woman, having to watch her own son act in such a bizarre way.

"Hello, fearless leader. I understand you are confused about why your son is acting like some sort of 'ladies man', when the real Rei is most certainly not. I shall explain my theory.

Because of the rather...extreme circumstances that FEF often finds itself in, Rei has begun using some rather powerful magic. Elder magic is widely known for it's ability to corrupt the minds of the weak. While Rei is most certainly not weak, he is, in fact, young. This youth has made him unable to completely fend off the ravages of Elder magic. However, instead of turning into a mentally unstable loon, his mind used the eldritch energies to make a splinter personality, so that what we know as 'Rei' could survive.

What you just saw was that splinter personality dominate Rei's body. While this is an unexpected ability, since Rei would normally need to consent to such an occurance, it is not an unsolvable problem. Before I approached you, I used my....unique, gifts to bring Rei back to the front of his mind. I also had a talk with Zelos, and he shouldn't be so possessive in the future.

If my abilities are ever needed again, you have my word, ma'am, that I shall be here, fighting to defend sanity in this insane world." Bramimond bowed. "And with that, I bid you goodbye."

Bramimond smiled, thinking he did a good job explaining. He then turned to Abel. "I hate to interrupt, but I have a message for you from a certain red-haired man. I would like to deliver it in private."

After a few minutes, pretty much all of the people had gone away from where the fight had taken place, but Abel and Alihi were still there, in the same position. Abel felt nervous, and his instincts told him to run away. He-

Abel... I told you before... do not run, when you are scared.

You are stronger now... You don't need to run.
...Right. Thank you... ... I... I miss you. But I know I can move on... I will not run anymore...brother.

Abel noticed that the music had begun once more and a slow song had come on. His fears went away and he held one of Alihi's hands and went into a dancing stance. "I've... been practicing... maybe I won't make a fool of myself, this time..." He began to lead, and all seamed as if there was nothing else around... and for all they cared, nothing else was.

"Oh my goodness, what happen?"

Colm looked around with tired eyes, he had been sleeping with his tea in his hand and a party hat on his head, but he didn't know where the hat came from.
"What is this? Where did it come from?"
From what it looked like he had been knocked out for a good hour or two, so instead of wondering what happen he decided to ask again what you actually do at these parties.
Colm being to afraid to ask anyone he didn't know, because he feared getting made fun of, he went to the only person he could trust and respect, Nino.
He move quickly over to her and made a nudge, "Hey Nino, Ummm I'm new to this thing, what do we actually do at these parties?"
