"Let's avoid falling. Aside from that, who or what do you think it is?" He kept close to Rayne making sure he avoided all little rocks.

"Meh, we can see the boogie monster any other day. This seems more interesting." Orcus thought for a while. "Could it be a brother, or cousin?"

"Oh... Sorry." Orcus felt aweful, he should have never brought up family as a topic.

Orcus scratched the back of his head but continued on. "Are we there yet?" Orcus walked behind Rayne with his hands in the shorts very deep pockets. "Huh..." His thoughts drifted off, he was think of how this would help his small game hunting.

Taylor got up and left George's dorm closing the door.She grabbed her sword and fell out of a tree right in front of Orcus and Rayne."Hey guys! Can I tag along?"She started walking at the same pace as them.

River chuckled. "They're attracted to me. Here..." He held put his hand over the girl's and let a firefly crawl on her. He looked up to where the line of the forest was and stared. "She's here.... And other people are with her. Mam, may i ask your name?"

Rayne detached from Orcus and glared at Taylor for a millisecond, but then smiled. "Yeah, sure, that's fine with me. We're going to go find a mystery guy that i think i know."

Rayne gave her a funny look. "I doubt it...." She shrugged. "But hey, how would i know?"

River talked but kept staring at the border of the woods. "I prefer Samantha. It's prettier. and my name is River." He looked at her and smiled. "I need you to do a favor for me. Go in that direction..." He pointed. "You'll run into a group of three people. I need to go with two of them back to the dorms, but make sure a girl named Rayne continues this way. Can you do that for me?" He winked at her. "I assure I'll come back to you in the morning and take you to breakfast for doing this.. promise."

Rayne had assured Orcus that she'd be okay, knowing that he might have worried. She continued through the brush and came out in a meadow. She saw the boy sitting there and she gasped as fireflies surrounded her. They began to pull at her clothes and she let them. Rayne sat herself down beside the boy and the fireflies still stayed near them. She was confused.

River stared at his younger sister, thinking she looked beautiful. After they sat their for a while, he started. "You probably don't know me..." Rayne kept her confused eyes on him. He'd remembered rehearsing this to himself over and over for this day. But he couldn't think of anything. "I... am your brother, River. I know this might be a lot to take in, that you have a brother...." River trailed off and looked at her to be sure she kept up. "Our parents separated when we were children. I remember you because i was six when they divorced, you were just a baby. They agreed to never let us know about each other, but i overheard mom talking about it to someone. I knew i just had to come looking for you..." River held Rayne's hand and smiled at her. "Me and you have a special power. I know that your's hasn't activated yet, but it will tomorrow. I can't believe it, your going to be 16!" "I-I don't understand..." Rayne stuttered. River smiled. I'll show you tomorrow. It's late, you'll understand once you wake up tomorrow. Here, I'll walk you back to your dorm." River stood and walked his sister to her room. "May I... kiss you goodnight?" "Umm, i guess.." Rayne stood there aquardly as River kissed her on her forehead. "Goodnight," He said. "Night..." She shut her door and went to bed feeling really tired. She shut her eyes and went into a deep slumber....
