She was not happy when she read that letter...well she was when it began, Malik mentioning that she needed to bring Nilli down eventually and visit and what not. But when she got to the latter half of the letter, smile quickly turned to a frown of worry. Not good news at all. A look to the horse whom came bearing bad news, then back to the letter. "I'm going to strangle that woman myself."

"Well probably both letters are going to say the same thing." A small noise from Galesen as Isle turn away from him. "Come on, let me see." He said this of course in a playful manner but when he noticed that Isle did not have such a happy look on her face he looked back at Ramoth in wonder before turning to her again. "Isle, what's wrong? Is there something wrong with Piper or somebody?" Now he was getting a bit worried at this, what could of made her upset?

She was rather surprised he chose not to touch her since normally he would. What kind of game was he playing? "I was taught by Daddy Kieran who can make a speech with the best of them." Giving him a grin and then shaking her head. "That's why you're supposed to be the one who's working on distracting me from thinking about it. And you are being quite derelict in your duty, your highness."
"Well, when did you get to be so smart?" Jostling him gently before nodding. "They do that..." Shaking his head and then laughing. "It's a simple mixture of juices, Nilli. It does something to them. Very strange but also quite amusing for young rapscallions. Not that I'm going to let you do it." His attention was centered on Isle as well and he pushed forward to be closer to the shore, sensing the young elf's distress. "I won't let anything happen to your mother, Nillrik. You have my word on that."

"Kieran does have the most divine words when he wants to have them. It's a very important skill to have." Still watching her with innocent appeal, "But you just seem so intent on working and getting this speech done, it wouldn't be right for me to distract you from your half."
"Piper is pregnant...again. I didn't even think that was possible." Giving a noise of frustration because she didn't like the way her friend was after her second son." Which more or less overshadowed the rest of the letter. "I'm sure he's told Kieran and Fianna as well...everyone is going to flip." Patting at the horse's flank with a sigh. "Just dandy."
"I'm always smart." Resting his hands on top of Kyst's head and then his chin on his hands. "Aw, why can't I see it? You may be lying and I'll never know." But still preoccupied from his mother whom wasn't happy now. "You'd do anything to help her?" It was very important to Nillrik that the people around his mother were devoted to her just as much as he was.

Galesen was silent for a moment as Isle explained what was in the letter. He couldn't believe it, she was pregnant again? "Oh...wow. I can't believe it, I was surprised when she had her second son because of how it all is with the way we are...but a third child? I...wow." He remembered how bad it was for Piper after the second time she went through it all, and now she was going to give it a third time? What was going through her mind? "Yeah, I can't wait to see how the others are going to react to this..." And the fun was gone, that buzz he felt with Isle was pinging in his head and he knew she was pretty much upset, they needed to visit Piper soon, at least as soon as the tournament was done which thank the Gods was coming up pretty quickly. "Plan on visiting her pretty soon then?" He would understand if Isle wasn't there to watch, Piper was a close friend to her and all, besides the tournament was always around anyway.

"Which he passed down to me." He was playing her and she knew it, too. But two could play that game. "Yes, work before play as usual." Scribbling a few more phrases down and then glancing back over at him. "When are you planning on writing your half?"
"Maybe when you're older." It had been a slightly traumatizing experience to watch that bird just explode and he didn't want the kid to have bad reveries or anything. "I most certainly would. Women like your mom are independent but it never hurts to have someone standing watch in the background. That's your job, Nillrik. And mine when I'm around her, too."

"I don't write down my speeches really...I kind of wing them from in my head. Whenever I try to write them down then memorise them, I never remember what I wanted to say and it all gets jumbled up and I look stupid."
"I don't want to know how they're going to react to this...this is like tempting death. Hell, it's like inviting it for dinner and dessert." SHaking her head and looking to the nightmare once more. "You can go on an dgo girl, I'll send my own letter by my own means and plan for a visit, alright?" Turning her attention to Galesen, "She'll need women around. Can't expect her to thrive with all the menfolk around her constantly."
"Aw, it's always about when I'm older. Then when I'l older I'll be too old for kid stuff." Nodding lightly at his friend's, Kyst was just as much a friend to Nillrik as he was to Isle, words and gave the elf' head a hug of sorts. "Yup, I'm never going to let anyone harm my mom. Even stupid boys." He wasn't ignorant to some facts as some may think him.

She paused in the motions of writing and glanced at him in shock and surprise. "Really? You can do that? That's...amazing!" She had to write down her thoughts or she'd have nothing whatsoever. "So you already know what you're going to say then. That means your work is done and mine is almost. Didn't you have plans for that?"
"Get used to it, kid. You'll be hearing it a lot as you grow up. I know I did. Maybe one day in the distant future I'll take you out and let you see something even better than an exploding seagull." He reached up and gently patted Nillrik's arm where it rested in response to that hug. "Good. That's what I like to hear. Means you're already growing up and becoming a man."

"I bet they will come to me asking if I already knew..." And that was going to be fun when that happened. "Still, I don't think Piper would ever want to invite death at all, she should be smarter than this." A turn to Ramoth and he to gave a nod to her. "Yes, I'll be looking at my letter soon, and I will be coming down as well I just need to take care of a few things." Though Galesen looked at Isle and he gave a nod before tucking a strain of hair behind her ear. "Hey, it's alright. She'll need you to be there to badger her while she is going through it all." A small nervous chuckle to that, things were going to be weird for awhile.

"Don't know if it's amazing or not, but if you say so." Shurgging lightly despite her enthusiasm over it. Sometimes winging it didn't work too well. Not that he'd admit to that because he usually did fine. "Goofy non constructive plans, which I suppose should probably wait until after speech things."
A frown at Galesen. "I suppose as you're not a woman, you'd never understand." Shaking her head and looking over her letter again before giving a sigh and brushed his hand away as he tried to comfort her or at least that's how she was taking it. She didn't want comfort. "Badgering is the least thing she'll want."
"Better than an exploding seagull? I suppose that will do." THough he did beam at the praise that came for Kyst. He liked being told he was doing a good job of watching his mother and being called a man was fun too. "I try really hard."

"I do." She shifted to look at him and then gave a nod and returned to her own speech, putting on the final touches. "Then I suppose we should go ahead and get this over with. Don't you think that'd be wise? How soon can we call the kingdom together?"
"Shocking to think there is something out there better than an exploding seagull, isn't it?" Chuckling at the thoughts he knew were going through the young elf's mind. He'd done it again... "I think you do a marvelous job, Nillrik. And I know your mom appreciates you caring about her even if she doesn't always seem to like it. But that goes hand in hand with listening to her and keeping yourself out of trouble, too."

Galesen frowned a little and sighed to himself. "I may not understand but I try my best too." He didn't mean to sound like he passes things off like it was nothing but some times it seemed like he did. "Of course, I was only kidding. She'll need everyone there by her side, I can see Malik being by her day and night." Well at least he wasn't going to be so shocked when it came to his letter, though he was going to look it over anyway just in case Malik put something he needed to read in there.

"Yeah." Much as he didn't want to, after all...this was not something he really wanted to deal with and wish it had never happened. Now he had to play nice nice. "Ten minutes. Come on." Taking her hand and pulling her after him to where a simple series of commanders more or less had the whole of his kingdom that was avaliable gathered and they were prettied up to stand before them. Glynnic cleared his throat.
"There have been rumors over an incident that happened between me and Princess Silvercrest this afternoon. I do not blame you for your words, or your thoughts, nor will I hold it against you to think of your own on what such incidents may mean. It's common knowledge that we're courting each other, that yes we're from different subraces, and what that can all mean. Yes, I love her. But my love for her will never compete for the love I feel for my kingdom and my people. You all whom has stood by my family, by me as I've been a rising king as I've tried to prove myself to you. You've even stood beside me when it comes to Princess Silvercrest. My love for each of you is seperate and different from one another, and in no way competes with each other. I'm here for the people, just as I am here for her. We all say things in moments of heightened emotion, every one of us has done that. Most of the time we don't mean it, we regret it, and all we can do is hope it doesn't make things strained." Turning a light look to Lharika then.
"You're a man, stop trying because you won't. And you shouldn't be kidding over any of it either." This sucked so very much, but she supposed they were all just going to have to deal with it. She was going to have to schedule in some visits over the next year down there and put other things on hold. Kieran and Fianna were going to be so upset over this...were they even going to be able to see the happy part about this if even Isle couldn't? It was worrisome.
"Exploding things are hard to come by, save as fireworks." Still beaming at priase however. Blinking lightly though, "Mama is like that, she doesn't want anyone taking care of her because she cand do it herself. I just help." Resting his chin on top of Kyst's head again. "I don't cause much trouble."
