 Toushi's eyes widened when she saw the snakes and Fatal heal. She was about to attack the snakes, but she was hit by Fatal's attack.
The wolves found their way to Suki as they all jumped at her. Suki and the wolves were glad to see each other.

Aoi was bitten by the other snake, it's fangs sunk into her body. Her eyes widened from both the pain and seeing Nys. Phoenix!? She instantly could tell that was the reincarnation of Phoenix, better known as the combined and greater spirit of Picolit and Rosso.
"Yeah, any help would be grea-" Kasai stopped talking when she saw the shrine, sealed away by some sort of dark magic.

Travis heard the sounds of fighting as he woke up. He stood up and left the building he was in.

Tiger saw sealed Shrine "what is it" he pulled a wooden sword out of his back and poked

Travis saw the sealed shrine and took a step towards it, then stopped. I can't help them... he thought, then turned and flew from the village out into the wilderness.

"Dark magic," Kasai said to Tiger. Then she charged up her hands with fire and shot a blast of fire at the entrance, which was sealed by the dark magic. She didn't notice Travis take off into the sky and flew away, too preoccupied by this problem at hand.

Although Travis had not been patient enough to see, Tiger would find out that the wall of shadow was exactly that: shadow. There was absolutely no barrier. You simply couldn't see inside of the shrine until you walked through.
The venom swept through Aoi, now, and Fatal could only grin maliciously as she would very quickly begin turning into a trophy. And right on time, too, because it seemed that others were approaching.
The surge of dark energy would daze Toushi for a few seconds, but no more than that, unless she had some sort of weakness to dark magic that he did not know about.
Fatal walked over to Aoi, grinning all the while, as his snakes circled, now. Ready to snatch up the prize.
Noticing that it wasn't happening quickly enough, Fatal angrily poked her with the pointy end of his staff. And the wave of fire went right through the wall of shadow, too, threatening to burn Tiger immediately.
((SuperNerd: I posted a question in the appropriate thread. The Nys Assist Trophy has already been used, just now, in this current threat.))

The venom quickly spread through Aoi and she was soon turning into a trophy. She glared at Fatal just before she finished turning into a trophy.

Toushi quickly snapped out of her dazed state and ran at Fatal, slashing her blades at him.

Kasai made her flames vanished and then ran into the shrine, seeing that it was just shadow. And the first thing she saw was her sister's trophy. "Aoi!" She looked over at Fatal, hatred burning in her eyes. She drew out her sword as her flames appeared around her.

Fatal was still impervious to attack; the Phoenix Assist Trophy was quite powerful, and its effects were still long-lasting. Fatal walked over and grabbed Aoi's trophy, the sword strike going right through him (and healing instantly), and then Fatal laughed. Not a low chuckle, but a loud, overbearing laugh. One of the snakes surrounded and attempted to crush Kasai, and the other Fatal rode out of the shrine, barreling over anyone trying to stand in his way.

Kasai winced as she was being crushed by the snake, her flames did no harm to the snake. "No... Aoi!" she gasped, as she was being crushed by the snake.
