I typoed. Either it's a good end for me. Unrealted note: I've been getting am odd pop-up lately while lurking Gaia forums from http://gaia-botting-test.110mb.com asking for authentication and username+password to confirm I'm not a bot. Huh? Suspicious window is suspicious so naturally I close it. I just hope this isn't a trojan on my pc, I try to take extreme care to avoid such things (Firefox+noscript)

I just saw it too, and I think it might be what got my friend a little while ago. My guess is that it's linked to an ad somehow, because that's the only way I can think of that something would pop up on Gaia (or any respectable site) without having to click anything.
EDIT: Nevermind, I just got it right here in the guild, where ads are a piece of fiction, so I have no idea what this one might be.

Yea, I've been getting those lately. In fact, I just got one five seconds ago. I have no idea where the hell do they come from, though...
The threads about it on Gaia say you can hide the needed strings of code to make it appear on signatures, PMs, and profiles. So my guess is that someone (either here on this guild, or in the Forums, which is more likely) has it encoded on their signatures.
I hope no one here is dumb enough to actually input any personal information there.

I discovered something interesting. I've realized that every single time I visit this thread's page, the popup appears, from the same site Shameimaru mentioned. So I came to the conclusion that at least one of the posters on that first page is either the scammer himself/herself or got hacked without knowing it and the hacker encoded the script in his/her account stuff. By the time I'm writing this, the posters in there are: code4240, Aya, Parth, Colm, Hanzo, and myself; I don't want to point out my finger at anybody, though, because I have the same chance as anyone of them of being the hacked one. Edit: I'm getting the exact same thing on this other thread page; up to now, the posters in there are Hanzo, horneldiablo, Parth, and myself. This is confusing.

Well, the thing that both pages have in common is the fact that You, Me, and Parth have posted there, so we just have to narrow it down even further..........perhaps by erasing our signatures for the time being?

Actually by discarding the impossible solutions, the only one common factor that may be affected would be Parth.
