Lera wtached as Carmen ran off, and continued to lay there, catching her breath. Carmen returned with a bounty of prey, snow shoe hares. Lera licked her jaws hungrily, not quite sure if they were intended for her or not but when Carmen laid them down next to her Lera couldn't stop herself. She gulped them down hungrily with lightning speed. Yet she didn't want to seem inconsiderate or greedy and so she left most of the last one, in case Carmen was hungry. Lera whined when she saw Carmen's wound on her nose, but there wasn't much she gould do.
"Oh?" Lera asked, intrigued at what Carmen had found, which could quite possibly be a suitable den side. She slowly rose, a little achy, and it took a lot of effort. "Show me," she asked, ears forward in curiosity.

*Still pawing at her nose while Lera ate Carmens gaze traveled to the ground for a second. The next second when she raised them she found most of the food gone but their was a little bit left.* "You finiash that Lera you need your stregnth."
*Nodding as the female stood Carmen would procead to sniff at the ground to follow the tracks she made not to long ago. Turning around to make sure that Lera was following Carmen kept a steady pace. She instead of following th tracks that where facing foward from her view followed the ones going to opposit way. Reason being that the directest rout was this way. After a while the underbrush was in the she-wolves sight. Carmen kept on going and didnt turn into the area but she did indicate towards the small door.* "In their... while i was digging around for the rabbits i kind of.. made it deeper. So watch your step."

Lera wolfed down the rest of the rabbit carcass before following after Carmen. She kept up the steady pace, keeping close to the she-wolf and keeping her defenses around her risen. When they arrived Lera was surprised that she could not distinguish where the entrance of the den was. Lera could hear water nearby; but the water was not visible, the foliage was thick and gave Lera a feeling of privacy. So far so good!
First she put her head through, and then her whole body. Lera felt that she would dig a tunnel from this larger entrance; furthur into the earth; but this was definatly suitable.
She backed out looking to Carmen and nodding, "This is absolutely wonderful, I thank you," she said before morving over to Carmen to help clean up that nasty rabbit bite. It wasn't long before she scurried back itno the small hole, and scratching sounds could be heard. She had begun to tunnel her was thorugh the back most wall of the small 'room.' dirt would occasionally fly out of the main entrance, but lera was pretty good at packing the dirt into the sides of the walls, too much dirt on the outside would stand out. Lera dug in a slightly upward motion; intinct told her to do this so water would not down into the area where her pups would be. It was dark, yet Lera knew where she was going.

(( stupid gaia ate my post *bites gaia* ))
*Nodding to the grey she-wolf Carmen was glad for the help with cleaning the nose mound, it wasnt that deep.... or so Carmen thinks. Turning around as Lera went back into the den Carmen would leave lera to do what she has to. What Lera is doing she has to do on her own... Carmen couldnt help anymore. Carmen bore into her mind not to come down this way for a while.. for she knew what the wrath of a pregnant female wolf was like, and it wasnt to pretty. She turned at the pawprints and headed back towards the others.*

Lera was forever thankful for Carmen's help. She was wise and knowledgable. She continued digging for a long while. It was sunset by the time she had finnished. The skycontained bright hues of orange and pink, with blue and purple. She sighed, watching the sky and hearing the call of the night birda approaching. She had dirt smeared over her face, a full belly, and a deer feeling of satisfaction. Lera dissapeared back into the den, crawling up the short tunnel and into the main den area. She would skurry around, taking the rough dirt off of the side of the walls and making them smoothe as possible. It was warm and comforting and Lera found herself on the verge of sleep. Lera hadn't gone back to the pack, and hoped that would be alright without her, or wouldn't begin to panick if they found her gone. Lera picked a comfy spot and began to doze off, exausted from their long journey, and thankful for Carmen's presence.

((*Is quite behind!*))
Tobias beamed as they came unto the pack grounds. He looked around tentiavely at the other wolves. Perhaps he was just expected to be here? Was he part of the pack now? He didn't know, but he flopped down next to a large rock anyways, hoping they didn't mind if he stayed. His eyes slowly closed, ftigue once again seeping into every inch of his worn out body. And slowly, he drifted into dream.

At first, Ona didn't feel like following the pack she had found. She only knew one pup in this pack and some of the adult females now scared her as much as the adult females. Plus, she wanted to stay close to where her parents told her to stay, in case they came back. The crow, however, caught her interest.
She followed well behind the pack, far enough not to be seen but close enough to see the crow. She like the birds of blue that sang around in the mornings, but she had never seen a bird as black as this one. Wishing she could talk to it, she yipped quietly, trying to get its attention. With it's departure, Ona saw that the pack was now seperating happily. Are they going to feast now? she thought, scanning th area. Only during feasts had she seen a wolf as happy as some of these were.
Searching for Kamali, she went into a nearby bush and watched the area with much interest.

Through slitted eyes he saw Ona, and his table gave a few wags as he got to his feet, shaking off and opening his golden orbs. He padded softly over to the other bush, almost silent. He would be good with stealth, as he grew. Probably.
"Hey." He said, softly, as always. "You followed us!" he seemed happy about it, but galnced around. "Ona.. are your parents the only ones left in your pack?" He found it strang they'd been gone so long.. but did not want to bring up /why/ they might have been gone so long.
No wolf he'd met stayed out hunting this long..

Ona jumped out and dived to tackle the pup. "I followed the black bird that was following you." she giggled, then looked around with Kamali. Nodding to his question with a happy smile like grin on her muzzle, she replied "Yes, we're the only ones left. My parents took me away when a new pack leader was chosen...it was horrible after he won...what he started to do with the pups scared my parents...," with a shudder she continued, "I'm not worried though, they said they'd be back soon..."
Shaking off the last question, trying to get the memory to dissapear. "Anyway, why'd you guys stop?" asking eagerly in an excited, confused tone.

He 'oofs' and sends out a strangled yip as he finds himself in the snow, the strange puppy atop him, and laughs a bit. "We stopped because we reached our new home!" He bats very lightly at her mug, almost too light to feel his paw.
His head tilted slowly. "I hope your parents return.." he was about to leave off with that, but quickly added "Soon." he knew what it was like to not have parents. "will you be around, so we can play?"

Tobias drowsily awoke from his slumber, eyes opening to reveal the strange pup with Kamali. He watched for a bit before rising onto his lethargic legs, stretching, and walking over to see what was going on. The pup seemed to be quite a hyper little thing!
"You're still here?" he remarked, not trying to sound unkind. "Do you have a pack?" He wonderedif Haku would allow yet another pup into the pack.

Closing her eyes, she circled Kamali with her head held high. "And who said I wanted to play with you?" she asked mockingly. She opened one eye slightly to catch a glimps of his reaction and continued on her way around him.
Sitting down on a small mountain like rock, she sat down and looked down at Kamali, waiting for his reaction.

Startled by the wolfs words, Ona gave a small jump and tumbled off the rock. Falling on her rump, she looked at Tobias and tilted her head. "I can stay and play, but my parents decide if we go in a pack," she stated matter of factly, "Besides, who said I want to be in your pack?" she said right after, attempting the same stunt on him as on Kamali.
((Ok, I have to go. RP Later tonight maybe ^^))

Lera awoke in the middle of the night, her stomach feeling awkwardly pressured. She moved about restlessly in her den, circling, shuffling, sitting back down. The pressure turned into cramps, and cramps turned into pain. Her body gave a shiver as she went into labor.
It lasted most of the night, one pup comming into the world after another, three in all their own minds sparking as they entered. She took special care to clean every one carefully and gently. Three little fuzzy bodies laying by her side. They nudged her stomach and began to suckle. At first it felt pretty awkward, but she quickly got used to it. Lera continued to clean her new arrivals. It was too dark to see in her snug den, but she could feel that every pup was happy and she continued her duty as mother, carefully watching over her puppies. She would not leave them for anything.

Tobias smirked at the small pup's comment.
"Who said I was asking you to be in our pack, little one? I just wondered if you had one." He sat on the ground and watched as Ona circled him, wondering what on earth she was doing. He smiled. Perhaps it was one of her pup-ish antics? Ah, to be a pup again...
