Jutsu are divided into three categories. Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and Taijutsu. Ninjutsu is also divided into two categories. Sealing Jutsu, and cursed seal jutsu, both of course are used to create seals for variant purposes. Senjutsu uses three types of energy. Mental, physical, and the energy of nature. By harnessing the energy of nature, the user can increase the power of his jutsu immensely. Kekkai Genkai is an ability transmitted through blood and families. In no other way can a Kekkai Genkai be passed on.

Jutsu are ranked by terms of how hard they are to perform. An E-rank jutsu would be something extremely easy, such as the Jutsu taught and performed in the Academy. S-rank jutsu are extremely difficult jutsu that would take years to master. Now, S-rank jutsu are not exactly better than an E-rank, seeing as how its effectiveness relies on the individual jutsu user’s skill. There are also two other names. “Secret”, seeing as how this is passed down from generations through clans. Nobody outside the clan would know how to perform them.

Then of course, there are “Forbidden”. These however are able to be ranked in one of the six main rankings, but are an exception because they are not allowed to be learned or performed. They are forbidden to be learned because it is categorized to either causes great harm to the user of the jutsu, or are dark and evil in their creation. After all, nobody wishes to have harm caused to themselves, or to others. At least not to a great mass of innocent people.

Ninjutsu is a relative term describing almost any jutsu that requires chakra and allows the user to do something otherwise impossible to do. Unlike Genjutsu that forces the opponent see things that are not real, the effects of Ninjutsu, truly are real. Techniques very greatly in use, with many of the simpler jutsu doing such things as transforming the user into other appearances, or assisting them in evading attacks coming at them. Stronger and more experienced Shinobi often see using a jutsu as second nature and will perform them any time they wish.

Ninjutsu wasn’t exactly something Senritsu would take pride in, but there would definitely be a few jutsu she’d wish to learn when she got the chance to. She had gotten this book to learn about what sort of jutsu there were and whether or not she believed she may be able to learn them. She had looked through the book when she was back in the library. At some point in the book there was a list of all the jutsu that were known in Shimagakure, and some even had a small list of people who knew them.

Lowering her hand down to her ankle, Senritsu noticed her ankle was beginning to feel quite a bit better. A small smile entered her lips as she continued on reading. Perhaps when she was finished reading all of this, her ankle would feel good enough to climb up the tree again. Genjutsu. Techniques that use the chakra within an opponents nervous system to create false surroundings and illusions. This particular type of Jutsu had caught Senritsu’s attention before. It seemed like something she could easily do if she wanted. Perhaps it would be something she would read up on more later on.

Genjutsu can be used to cause the victims to hear, see, smell, taste, or even feel things that are not actually there. Most Genjutsu effect at least one of these five senses, although there are a few other Genjutsu that do other things. Genjutsu can be broken in one of three ways. One is Kai, a disruption of the chakra flow either by themselves or by their allies to cancel the Genjutsu. Pain that is not from the Genjutsu can also be a way to snap one’s self out of it. The last is if the person using the jutsu loses focus by whatever means. If that happens the Jutsu will fail and the victim is freed.

The last of the three divisions is called Taijutsu. This refers to any jutsu involving the body. It relies on the stamina and strength gained through training. Chakra does not need to be produced with Taijutsu, and due to that, it is typically performed much faster than the other two divisions. Though, Chakra can be used in Taijutsu to add more force to attacks, most Taijutsu rarely use it in that way. Most prefer to use basic martial arts without having Chakra interfere.

Kekkai Genkai are abilities passed through the genes of certain clans. Most of these clans have developed techniques that harness their Kekkai Genkai that help them in battle and cannot be taught or copied by anyone. Senritsu’s head, again, popped up to the look at the only other Uchiha in the area. The Sharingan was one of these Kekkai Genkai. But if it was passed through genes, why didn’t Senritsu have it? Perhaps her diluted and impure blood due to her parents being mismatched, caused the ability to skip over her. It then made her wonder whether or not her grandmother had this ability.

Sealing jutsu, known as Fuin Jutsu, are techniques that seal something inside an object or living beings. The most often use of this is sealing weapons and objects within scrolls so they can carry an immense amount of items on them without detections. Senritsu bit her lip as she read this part of the book. She’d been thinking of using something like that for a short while. But she was unaware as to whether or not she’d have the ability to learn it with her small amount of learned techniques and abilities. If there was in deed a way for her to learn, and do such things, she’d definitely be learning how to do so soon.

When she‘d finished that particular chapter of the book, she closed it and set it aside. There were still a great number of pages that she‘d need to look over but for now, it was time to continue on doing what it was she had been given by Sukotto. Due to her speed in reading, she was able to read quite quickly while those around her lingered on doing whatever it was they were doing. She‘d finished quite a few pages of the book while Shisei seemed to finish yet another part of what Sukotto had given him.

Listening to Sukotto and Shisei as soon as she’d finished her chapter or the book, she let her eyes wander around the vicinity while keeping an ear open for the males’ conversation. Sukotto had taught her this Jutsu before quite a long time ago, and it seemed Shisei was having more trouble with it than she did when she learned it. Perhaps he wasn’t as adept at the Jutsu as she was at the time. He seemed full of himself. That would end up being his downfall if he continued on. That, and it would be quite fun if Senritsu let it slip how badly he was doing compared to her two years prior. The only thing Senritsu noticed that the boy was doing better than her, was the control of Chakra. It didn’t matter to her though, she hated Chakra anyway. That, and she never liked to train in it. It always took her such a long time just to do it correctly once. The girl knew there would be a long while before she’d be able to stop learning how to control her unruly chakra.

As Senritsu enjoyed her spot on the floor, rubbing gently at the tender skin, bone and muscle of her ankle, she couldn’t help but crack a smirk as she watched Sukotto introduce Shisei to his final training. The partnering part. She knew this one all too well. She and Sukotto had done a sort of partnership as well. She wouldn’t let it slip, but she missed practicing with him like that day. He was a lot of fun to be around when it was just themselves. But that wouldn’t be happening nearly as much now. The repetitive thought of him now being a Chuunin once again came through her mind. When he was a Gennin he was always by himself. Team-wise anyway. Senritsu always tagged along when he was training or doing errands. With being a Chuunin, he has his own team. For now, she should at least be happy she gets to be around him like this. For now, she can watch and enjoy seeing him happy teaching younger children, other than herself. The light smile she’d begun with had by this time long departed, but a light twitch of her lips could be seen.

As she listened to Sukotto explaining how to execute the technique during a battle-type situation. The Uchiha child wondered what person or thing the snake-kid would be using to replace himself. Watching intently as a light breeze made its way through the air, teasing both her and Sukotto’s hair, she could easily see the male’s muscles relax before completing another clone of himself. It seemed he was still intent on doing his own little training while assisting Shisei with his own. If that was the case, Senritsu could have taken his place…Well, not in this particular condition she was in, but perhaps if she was asked she could at least do something. The hint of a certain thought passed through her brain before she pushed it away. No way Sukotto would prefer Shisei over another person. He just didn’t seem the type to do so. Green eyes switched to Shisei before the movement from Sukotto’s attack got her attention once again. He seemed to be quite entertained with himself. At least from her point of view.

The tense air was sharp as Sukotto launched himself at the younger male. There was just too much to take into account for someone who was unable to take in an entire area quick enough. The young Uchiha female was not one of those though. Senritsu could easily take in the sights of the tree she was beneath, as well as those beside her. Serena to the side, taking her sweet break. The scattered patches of newly growing grass and puddles of water. The trees that were growing their lush leaves to shade the villagers looking for a small break to take in the scenery. The sounds of the village light being carried in the breeze that could only be heard if you truly took a moment to listen. As well as the sound of the crashing waves into the side of the cliffs. The sound of the birds chirping and few leaves being messed with as a bird flew out of his nest the moment Sukotto launched his attack. Senritsu didn’t even have to look down at her hand to feel the sensation of a tiny ant crawling onto her finger.
