Ashe saw Flint walk out of the inn and join them. She turned towards the castle and started walking. She noticed that the feeling from the woods had been damped due to the humans, but it got stronger the closer to the castle she headed. What in the world is going on? she thought to herself.

[Thank'ee much, I had a bit of writers block.] ----- Flint turned to Ashe as she broke into Sorrow's room. "That works too." he said, ducking back into his room. He quickly searched the area in case he had forgotten anything useful, or the last patrons, or even Nixe, dropped anything. He did the same with Sorrow's room, then quickly left, seeing the others waiting for him. He hurried to catch up with the group heading toward the castle. It was strange...each of his companions, being of a magical, or supernatural, heritage, could sense that something was wrong, and yet he had no clue. All he knew was that something was making a demon, a dragon, and a Fallen nervous, and that wasn't a good sign.

(Whoops, sorry guys. 56k modem has been running around 12 and 16 lately. That and the ACT, my gym teacher being fired for having an affair with a student, life has just been one big party lately that seems to take place on my nerves.)
As the group approached the castle, Mike stopped for a second and stretched, his shoulders snapping in and out of place as his neck sounded like an old tree snapping in a tornado. If something ominous was on the horizon, he would keep a watchful eye out and try to sense anything approaching. If he let the stress get to him he could snap and go full demon, something that would be especially bad if they were inside the castle where every guard had at least one holy weapon. Needless to say they'd probably try to strike him down, and with the way he felt when he went full demon the last time, they would be instantly cut down and mauled before they could even turn to run.
After stretching his invisible wings, Mike looked up at the castle. He was about to go where no demon ever went before: inside a human controlled fortress with no intent on killing anyone or seizing the throne.
Though...if he offered it to him, Mike would gladly accept. Just a thought in his mind.
(I get the feeling this roleplay is really dragging now.)

((T.T No, we don't))
Ashe looked back at Mike and headed up to the guards. "We wish to have an audience with the King," she said simply. "The King will be seeing those who wish to see him shortly. Though you will have to wait. I will show you the way." The guard who spoke turned and started to walk through the castle. Ashe looked back and shrugged, she didn't expect it to be that easy. She started to follow the guard.
~
Shiango smiled to himself. They where in the castle, walking straight into his trap. His crystal then showed the image of his servant in the castle who was making his way to the audience room, following the King. There was a small group of six guards and four paladins following them. "Good..."

Flint stayed quiet as they reached the guards. Being a recently reformed thief he still hadn't lost his "instinct" to not talk often to guards. Also, he usually left the diplomacy stuff to the ones that could not only look threatening, but also look the person they're talking to in the eye. He hurried to catch up, realizing he had fallen behind with his thinking there. He hadn't expected it to be that easy. "That was...too easy." he said quietly. "Way too easy. Didn't even ask WHY we wanted to see the king." For the first time since Mike and Ashe, and likely Sorrow, felt something was wrong, Flint started to get a sense that something just wasn't right. It was like he could feel something was going to go wrong but couldn't figure out how, or why.
