Today was the last day of the ASPB Plant Biology meeting in Hawaii. I'd forgotten how much fun it was to attend someone's talk and fall asleep 5 minutes into it, then be completely lost for the remaining 40 minutes or so.
At least they had free coffee...
Thank god I don't have to take classes anymore. I didn't know you were still in school, Eirwyn. College tuition keeps going up every year. Hope you won't be in debt for the next decade or so!

Heh... I would travel, but I'm running very low on funds. As in, at the moment I don't have enough money to pay September or October's rent. At least I'll get my student loan in October... Doctor_Whatsit Nah, she got a 4-year degree back in the '80's, but now she's back getting something actually USEFUL in the TAA program, since her textiles job went to China in '07. They pay for Tuition, books & all required materials, and you get your unemployment without having to do a job search, 'cause the classes are like your job search. Just have to keep a certain grade point average. I'm still unemployed (yikes, it's been 5 months already!). My plan is to win the lottery and retire for life. The only problem is that Hawaii doesn't have a state lottery. Maybe I should run for Governor to get them to start one up here.

Better look for something in the service sector--since everybody seems convinced that in the Information Age an entire country can survive only providing services & relying on overseas imports for everything. rolleyes

Luckily I haven't been hacked, my friend was though.
I have 4 first year classes, though I'm doing a bachelor of science so I'm in at uni 5 days a week stressing over assignments and practicals and... gonk

Get her to check her PMs for the username.
And PMs (even deleted ones) are able to be checked in the event of such a thing as this. I'm pretty sure that's what one of the higher-ups said before.
