"Soren..." Sue didn't know what to say, as she was dumbstruck by the Sage's reaction. "Well, Rhys, we'll have to hold off on it until now... I can start by giving my own inventory..."

"Such a high-strung little one, isn't he?" Victoria mused. "Even if you're not my leader, I don't really see one here... hm, I'll listen, just this once. And... the reason why I saved you, little tactician, is because it's my duty as a priestess of Elmine. You owe me nothing, truly. I guess I'll do what the Lady nomad is though... I'll give my own inventory."

"...Abel. Yes, of course..."

Abel had been quite involved recently. It was hard to believe he was so easily forgotten.

The younger tactician quickly glanced back to his other semblance. "Hm? Ah, it's... I don't know what you're talking about." Of course, that coming from any Soren meant he had something to hide.

He glanced over to Rhys and Sue. Considering what happened during October, he was not too surprised by their apparent connection. The younger tactician jumped at Master Sage's outburst, however.

Nils stepped forward. "Uhm... I think it might be wise to bring Hi-- Fire Dragon and myself along in a search group. Fire Dragon could provide heat, and I could sense threats coming... Besides, with my ice-dragon blood, I'm not that easily affected by the cold." He commented lamely. "That is, when the group is actually formed..."

Alihi found the storage room for the food. Sitting herself down, she started to count.
"Potatoes. One, two, three..."

Sue was looking over her own supplies, surprised she had so much packed on her mount despite not expecting anything to happen. "My normal battle gear..." she recounted. Myulgre, now with its full 20 shots thanks to Rhys repairing it with a Hammerne, a Silver Bow, the Killing Edge she recently used, and an Elixir with 3 drinks left still. She also looked at the snacks she brought to the lake that day, not that the little bites were a meal or anything, but they were still food.

Victoria's inventory was much larger, as she was still wandering from place to place and decided to be here only as a rest stop. There were blankets, one pillow, tons of offerings in food and riches she had got from the people she helped as a missionary, and also her own Mend staff, along with the Purge and Lightning tomes. It was a lot for her to carry, she was used to it though... not to mention Tristai and her mount helped a little when they finally did meet the day Madriana fell.

Rhys nodded to Nils. "My thoughts exactly. If the Fire Dragon is with us, we won't have as much difficulty getting around. Of course, that's if we can convince him once we're done with preparations."
"And having you around would help us, too," he added. "That way we're not caught in an ambush. At least, that's what I think."

Rhys' thoughts strayed to the parchment in his pocket, but decided not to bring it up. If we're busy figuring out our supply situation, learning tidbits about a king of ages past isn't going to help us do that.

"A killer lance, a killing edge, two elixers with three drinks, the javelins I used against those Mogalls...yeah I think I have enough to last in a battle."

+It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

「 The boy glanced toward Nometal, "What can you do, then? I don't want all of our fighters out in the storm. We'll need warriors here to defend the house if anything goes wrong...and much as I hate to say it, I don't want all of our troops risking their lives in that, just yet...If the party is lost, for whatever reason, we cannot be left defenseless." Sighing deeply with the weight of his words, the boy turned his gaze to Nils. He had collected himself as quickly as ever, and was thinking at his usual speed, flying through all possibilities. "That may be best, though I hate to send you both out...It's quite a risk. Do you have a Dragonstone, Nils? I would hate to send you out with only your pipes."

「 He nodded to Rhys as he returned, "Would you please take note of Sue and the Priestess' supplies? Once that's taken care of, I think we'd best check on everyone else's useful equipment and items, myself and your's as well. We'll then proceed to check on Alihi's progress."

「 Shooting an apologetic look to his younger self, the sage waved his hand, calling him closer, "Soren. Could you look over the items Alihi is not in charge of? Anna seems to have wandered off without orders, not that I'm in any position to dole such things out..."

「 Finally, the boy decided what he would have Nometal do, and turned back to him, "Please take inventory of our weapon stores."

「 +I have to go for a bit. I think I gave everyone a lot to do. xD Keep busy? I'll try to be back later, and I hope I didn't make Soren sound too bossy...Wait...Nevermind. It's Soren. xD + 」

Nils nodded. "I'm sure he'll have no issues with it. But I'll ask him later, just in case..."
EDIT: Nils frowned. "I'm afraid I don't, Soren... but I'm sure I'll be fine."

"So, that's three crates of potatoes, with about 23 potatoes in each crate." Alihi said to herself, since there was no one else in the room she was in.
"Now, onto the next thing..."

"Understood," responded the younger tactician with a faint nod. Anna had been asked to looked over items and weapons. Soren glanced at Nometal, deciding they might have overlapping duties, so the mage moved off to take a quick count of the supplies within Fefga's house. Thus far it sounded as though the others already had personal healing salves and some form of weaponry.

He glanced around in search of Anna. The girl had taken his staff, although he had not caught which of the two Anna had taken. He took a glance and decided it was the foreign one she'd picked off. Soren still had yet to understand what type of staff it was, for a Warp staff was neither durable nor the most imperative item to have.

The hangout had its own storage room, he understood. The mage decided he would head there first. Adjusting his robes and tightening the tome to his waist (with an additional sigh) Soren departed the room. He led himself down a corridor, all the while wondering where Tibarn had been during the conference.

{You just had to bring something like that up. -_-}

"I can count the loaves of bread." Sue volunteered, darting over to where all the rations stored in FEFGA's house-fort were. All the while her mind was halfway drifting. "Where's Vaida...? She'd usually be here..."

Victoria continued to count other supplies for the rest of the company.

Within the small castle dedicated to Fefga, the spirit of the land, there seemed to be quite a number of people so suddenly. Generic soldiers and villagers congregated in a main area, while various others were wandering about the castle, doing various tasks. It was always a pleasure so have so many guests, for usually only a few ever came at one time, aside from researchers studying The Door. Still, everybody seemed so preoccupied and the presence of the castle's spirit went unnoticed. But Fefga was not a downtrodden spirit. No, instead she acted as if she were a little girl. She was so excited to have so many guests in her castle, and couldn't control herself. She saw somebody go down a corridor, and followed out of curiosity. Though her image was not able to be seen, she couldn't hold back and began to giggle aloud. She very much enjoyed to watch the actions of humans.

He was lost in thought, wandering down the corridors of hangout. Sometimes he wondered if it should even be referred to as that nowadays — the building had been expanded upon time and time again. Soren watched the floor in utter silence while allowing his instinctive memory to guide him to the storage room.

"...What the?"

So startled was Soren that he actually spoke aloud, stopping in his footsteps and turning around. He had sensed something and was sure it was familiar in some manner. His eyes widened at a strangely familiar laugh, the laugh of a child that was playing in the snow not too long ago.

"Who's there?" he asked the air, trying to keep his voice steady. This situation was similar to that at the ice-encased castle, but this presence was not a black hole of life. This one emitted an actual energy signature, an actual sign of life or existence. It seemed friendlier as well.

But Soren hated it when his eyes deceived him. "Who's there?" he repeated, still seeing no one in the hallway.
