I am moving! =D
As such, I will only be available for the next three to four days. After that, I probably won't have computer access for up to a month, maybe more. Obviously I'll try and reconnect whenever I can, but I make no promises. I'm going from Missouri to Tennessee, so it's going to take awhile. I'm sorry to leave you all with such an enormous hiatus, especially when both of my chars are involved in the plot...I'll try to post as much as I can before I leave. Just wanted you all to know where I would be and that I would be there for awhile.

I mean, if you want to PM the other members and ask them if they'd like to continue heart I've been waiting to see some signs of activity from Halcyon's, but the thread just keeps dropping lower and lower on the board...I thought maybe if I spoke up it might prod things along a bit. Starting over doesn't sound like such a bad idea, but that's not really our decision to make. Speaking of which, where's Bloom?

So what happens to Halcyon's if Bloom never returns, as I suspect she might not? Are we just going to let this thing die? Both of the Halcyon's threads haven't had any activity in them for months now...I hate to see such a wonderfully creative world go to waste.

I say we start up something else in the same world, sort of like a spin-off RP. Not try to create Bloom's but put our characters to good use.

To be honest, I was seriously entertaining the idea of taking over Halcyon's myself. Until Bloom gets back, anyway, or we can at least reach her somehow and find out where she's gone and why. I know that sounds quite rude, but I think it's better then letting it die completely. The real problem we've got to address is the fact that our characters are all entangled with other characters who's puppetmasters seem to have vanished into thin air. I'm active, and you're active, but we're not posting because we're waiting on several other people to do something. If we can find a way to fix that, I think we might be able to give Halcyon's a heartbeat again.

ANNOUNCEMENT
Yeah, you, with the face. Listen up.
Halcyon's lives!
Bloom just PMed me, and I asked her about Halcyon's. Unfortunately, for reasons of her own, she's no longer able to care for it. I asked her if I could keep up with it, and she agreed. So to those few of you who actually read this -- I'm going to be resurrecting Halcyon's in the next week or so. It may take me awhile to get things up and running, but I'm going to do my best. While I'll technically be in charge, it's Bloom's fantastic storyline and ideas that are going to be at the heart of the thing. I'm just going to take care of all the upkeep and all you unruly member-types. smile
Post here if you're still active/interested in being active. The rest of you will be receiving PMs from me soon to gauge who's still interested. Those of you who are interested will stay on as members and for you it'll probably be like nothing ever changed. Those who aren't will be booted and their chars will be kidnapped by ninja gibbons. I'll start a new Halcyon's thread and we can get back to business.
Anyone who reads this--also post here whether or not you'd like Halcyon's to become a guild, or stay as a regular thread here in the SDRP. I don't actually have a seperate guild for Halcyon's, but I could house it in the same guild that's currently housing my own RPG, The Second World. Tell me what you think of that.
I think that about covers everything. PM or post with questions.
