Ryou looked a bit surprised at that. Stay? He had been thinking more gloomy thoughts than that. If he couldn't find a way back, he had wondered, how much would his friends miss him? He had realized quickly how much of a 'lesser' character he must have been on that show. And what was the point of lingering around here? No, he had been contemplating suicide. He smiled at Rei, in any case. "That's generous. But, really, it would be best for everyone if I tried."

Ryou couldn't help but smile again. This time, however, the expression was more genuine. "I know what you mean. My father was always out doing things for the museum. I just wasn't fond of pets."

"yea...when I first came here...my parents came too...My mother was ocd...freaked out over the size...wanted to clean everything. So I finaly bought them a smaller house in florda. We kept in touch but..they seem to have forgotten me."rei sighed "I've been alone in this house for..." rei trailed off counting. "Five years."

"It can't be good for someone like you to live here all alone." With Sora asleep and Inuyasha gone, Ryou had a much easier time talking with Rei. When they had first been alone, he had been to shocked by the recent events to really comprehend much. "But I suspect with all of us..." He gave a small shrug, glancing over at the snoozing brunette. "...you'll get sick of company. HOpefully nobody else will crawl out of the televisions."

"I don't think I could ever get sick of company" Rei said. "Inuyasha mabye. But you and sora are nice...." Rei sighed "God knows I better like it while I can. Once you all leave i'll be alone agian."
