With both of them still in mid air it was only a matter of adjusting her weight and arms to make herself change her position. As the man started firing she brought herself to be horizontal, her lips right next to his ear. "For now...You can call me Sorilea." As she finished whispering into his ear, she nipped at the man's earlobe before sending herself over his head to bring her face to face with him, grinning.

"I'd rather you quit toying with me. It takes out all the enjoyment if I'm not feeling any pain." He opened his arms, leaving his chest open for an attack. "Come on, Sorilea. Don't tell me that was all you've got. If it was, I'll be greatly disappointed."

Exploding into a mist of dust once more, Sorilea's voice rang out in a hissing manner, echoing over itself hundreds of times. It seemed to come from all directions at once. "You are too amusing to kill off!" Was all she said, implying that she held back to spare him for her own entertainment. Her voice would echo for several seconds before dying out. Once the chorus of her voice was finished, she stood upon the ground once more, grinning up at the man as he descended. "You have yet to tell me your name."

The man smirked. "What makes you think I have one?" He crossed his arms, no longer leaving himself entirely open. "Though I suppose if you absolutely must call me something...Chronic will do. Now what was your business in this village?"

"I needed exercise, Chronic." She emphazised his name with a sneer as she shrugged. "I was bored and needed a bit of exercise before getting to my target area. Why were you here?"

The man cocked a brow. He thought he had made it obvious with what he said before the battle began. "I came here simply for destruction. It just so happens that you had beaten me to it, and I wasn't too keen on it. Also, I'm looking for someone...he's kept out of my reach for too long now, and I intend to put a stop to it."

Stretching her arms wide, Sorilea grinned. "Who might you be looking for in this relative area. I know quite a bit about it, where as you seem to know little." She chuckled to herself and put a hand to her lips to cover the amused smile.

Chronic's eyes narrowed, and he quickly dropped down to the ground. "That may or may not be revealed to you in time. But I don't suppose you could point me in the direction of the...the..." He cocked a brow once again and turned away, reaching into his inner coat pocket and checking something he had written down before turning back again. "Black Company? I was told that was the last place he was seen."

Narrowing her own eyes at the man she grinned. "We seem to have similar interests once more. I'm headed to the same place, but, it seems that I know more of it than you do. Odds are that if you just waltz in there asking for whoever it is, you'd be attacked almost as soon as you had arrived. They are a very prickly bunch, that...Black Company. If they feel threatened they immidiately try to kill you then ask questions later." Laughing she shook her head and turned away from the man, walking to the west. She did not say where she was going, but if the man was smart, he would figure out she was headed in the direction he sought.

He waited for a moment before following the strange woman whom he had just been fighting, but then quickly decided it would be in his best interest to go with her. After all, if it turned out to be a bad idea, he could always just kill her afterwards. As the pair headed west, several buildings from the burning village collapsed, and Chronic grinned.

"We are still a good ways from the place where this Black Company resides. Walking will take a bit, so you might as well tell me at least a bit about yourself." Sorilea stated boredly without turning to look at Chronic. She had no worries that he would strike her down from behind. He wouldnt get the chance anyhow.

"Hmph...I'm Chronic, and I enjoy destruction and pain. That's pretty much all you need to know for now." Obviously he wasn't a very trusting person. Either that or he just didn't care much for small talk. "Now you likely only asked that so I would ask you about yourself. So now if that's the case, go right ahead and start talking." It was likely the former.

"Tche...I only asked out of curiosity. If you wish to know of me, however, I'll tell you a bit." She clenched her hand into a fist, a single blade sliding slowly out of each knuckle other than the thumb. "You have likely noticed that I use my bones as my weapons. I'm obviously not human. You already know my name. And I seem to be smarter than you. That enough to satisfy you for now?"
PostPosted: Sat Oct 07, 2006 3:29 pm

"Smarter? Possibly. More powerful? I highly doubt it. Better looking? Not in a million years." He smirked and tapped his brow with the barrel of one of his pistols, which he had not yet holstered.

Laughing loudly, Sorilea couldnt help but turn and look at the foolish man. "Smarter, yes I sure am. More powerful? I said nothing about power. You assuming that I think I'm stronger than you and are wrong in thinking so leads me to believe that you put too much faith in your own power and will one day fall victim to a surprising defeat from someone you think is inferior. And better looking? Are you kidding me? I have boobs and an a**." Grinning she turned back around and continued walking.
