Mull blinks, watching as Asher sits on the bed, then cautiously attempts to snuggle close to him. "Sorry. Didn' kno thet." He mumbles, eyes half-closing as he sighs.

"Now you know," Asher replied simply and perhaps needlessly. At least for now they would both have to be very plain in their speech, it would seem. He waited for Mull to get comfortable before leaning lightly against him, tail draping itself lazily across his lower legs. It was nice to be sitting like this with no other expectation looming above them.

Mull yawns and gives a small nod of understanding, then drifts off to drunken slumber, a bit of drool running out of his mouth as he starts to snore softly.

(( Eww... xD! Hurr hurr, we could even skip this one ahead if you want. x3 ))
Mull would likely have no trouble sleeping the rest of the night, just short of the walls caving in around him or a jet engine crashing in the yard. Even so, the coon found himself reluctant to leave his side just yet. Instead of getting up as soon as he was able without waking the hybrid, he waited until much later, in fact closer to dawn.

((lol That works. 8D))
Mull's eyes slowly crack open when dawn gets closer, his vision rather blurred as he was currently staring at Asher's chest. His memories fuzzy feeling, along with the tell-tale signs of a hangover, he tilts his head the slightest bit, eyes widening slightly in surprise at seeing just who exactly he was cuddled up to. "A-Asher...? W-what are you doing here so close to dawn..?" He asks, rapidly sitting up and putting distance between himself and the vampire, attempting to get to his feet and crashing to the floor as his legs became entangled in the covers. He shoots a glance at the windows, glad he had indeed gone with super thick and dark curtains for the room, as they would allow very little light in without being opened.

(( Whee... x3 ))
Asher blinked and glanced around, ears flattening a little as he took proper note of the time. "Dozing off, apparently..." he hissed softly in annoyance. He turned in mild surprise to watch as Mull unceremoniously landed on the floor, the vampire rising on the other side of the bed. Mull appeared to be all right and merely hungover, he decided as he crossed over to better see, but stayed near the foot of the bed and out of reach. "Are you unharmed?"

Mull blinks and peers over at Asher at the foot of the bed. "Aside from the hangover from hell and a bruised ego, I'm fine." He says softly, growling in frustration at the covers still wrapped tightly around his legs as he attempts to loosen their grip on him. "What... happened last night...? I don't remember much aside from wanting to drink myself to sleep."

Asher studied the knot of bedding wound tightly around Mull's legs then moved closer to untie them. "You tried to drown yourself in a bottle of vodka," to which he nodded as it still sat on the nightstand, "but the kitchen floor had other plans for you and I carried you to bed. You asked me to stay and apparently we both fell asleep. Nothing else happened, if that was your fear." Finished freeing the hybrid's legs, Asher pulled away and stood erect once again.

Mull stays still as Asher loosens the knot of the covers, then carefully finishes removing the covers, curling his legs under him as he sits up. "Why did you come back, anyway...? You don't owe me anything, after all." He says, tilting his head slightly. "Although, I do thank you for coming back. I probably would have been in a rather grouchy mood if I had woken up on the cold floor."

"And you do not owe me anything either. I did not exactly leave earlier tonight," he admitted, then glanced toward the window, "but I will now. I must return home, as dawn approaches."
(( I keep thinking of how amusing it would be if Mull just banished Asher from his house. He would be literally propelled out the door. Does that make me evil? o: ))

((*snicker* Yes, yes it would, although since it is turning daytime outside, that would be a very bad thing for Mull to do.))
Mull blinks, then follows after Asher. "You won't make it home before the sun completely rises. You are welcome to stay here, you know, and well, since going out there now would probably mean you dieing for good, I insist you stay here, at least until night fall."

(( True... o: <3 ))
Asher paused and glanced back at Mull, the tip of his tail twitching a little. Every vampire is a little different when it comes to sunlight, but he was at a disadvantage compared with many. He did not trust this situation but at this point had little other choice. "All right," he said finally with a sigh.

Mull tilts his head slightly, then smiles slightly. "So, did you want to stay in here, then, or in one of the guest rooms? Also, do you wake up just fine on your own at night, or do you need help waking up?" He wanted to make sure that he didn't intrude if Asher would prefer to be left alone.

"Once you showed me a room with a coffin downstairs. That will suffice." He hated being so vulnerable in Mull's presence. He would literally become a corpse when the sun rose, regardless of where he was. The idea of being in a bed away from home at the time was unthinkable. "I will not require assistance to rise."

Mull nods, then grabs a keyring off a hook on the wall nearby, pulling a key off and handing it to Asher. "The basement room locks from the inside, so, if you'd feel safer with the door locked, this is the only key to that room." He says, feeling quite sure that the other did not like sleeping in strange places, let alone in the house of someone with as many issues as Mull himself had.
