Sophitia smiled. Vandal was so kind, despite the fact that he was a vampire. She opened the door a crack to see what was going on. If they stayed a bit longer, she had a chance to see Vandal longer...

"Alright then." Vandle pointed to a set of stairs that led to the roof. "Do you need me to show you the way? There are a few twists and turns along the way."

"I might need directions later, but I'm alright for now," she replied. She looked around the room. "if we're going to make this our base, we might need some better defenses, or at least an escape route or two."

Brodix stood back up and his fake smile returned. "I'm afraid that I won't be much use in the planning department, but I can be a good footsoldier. Just point me where you want me, or show me who you want dead and I'll handle it from there. As far as being called upon, let's face it.... I've nowhere else to go, so I might as well stay close where I can be of the most use." Brodix felt a slight hunger pain, but it wasn't bad... yet. He thought about his flask, but didn't really want to waste anymore of the precious liquid. Once it was all gone, it was gone for good so he usually only used it in emergency situations, but he was unsure about how the others would feel about him feeding since that might be somewhat contrary to their efforts. Ignoring it for now, he returned his attention to the other two and the girl whom he knew was listening in.

"Alright then. I will tend to this while you two rest up. Sir, are you hungry? And madam, are you in need of food and some blankets?" Vandle winked at Brodix, showing him that way that he meant if his thirst was coming yet. They would need all they could get.

"I'll be fine for now. And you don't have to call me 'Sir.' In fact, I'd prefer you didn't." Brodix stated. His keen sense of smell could pick on the foul stench of animal blood coming from Vandal. This did not arouse Brodix's appetite at all. He must be one of those that doesn't feed on humans.... Brodix thought to himself. "I think I'll go outside for a while." He stood and walked his way over to the stairway. "If you need me for anything, I'll just be on the roof." As he turned away, he made a small parting gesture to everyone in the room and then began up the stairs.

Sophitia giggled, hiding her smile. "Yea, I'm in here. You can come in." She quickly fixed her hair and her clothes, awaiting Vandal's entrance.

She blushed. "Um....not really. I suppose I was just restless." She smiled, biting her bottom lip. "I'm happy you came to see me. I was worried you were going to leave right away..."
