"okay." kryxel sat down in a seat his tail twitching with anticipation. "come on lets go... i need to be getting here."kryxel said showing jad the coordeneces on his wrist computer."fast if possible."

Jad laughed, "Fast? Pyresians are known for speed my feline friend. Eagle! Orbit!" He gazed at the coordinates while the spaceport dropped away underneath them. in seconds they'd broken atmosphere.
"alright, heading and... hang on to your butt!" He pulled a lever and twisted a dial as space jumped.
"Oops. heheh... fired too early. don't worry, we're..." he twisted the handles he used to steer, "only a few thousand from the location. Welcome to your destination. now, are we going in guns blazing or..." He looked at a blinking light, "hang on! burned out a crystal in the drive. gotta replace it real quick. It happens every decade or so... more if I'm jump-happy..."
Jad unbuckled his seat and ran back to engineering.

kryxel unpeeled himself from the chair "wow..how fast did we go?" he said while straiting out his fur.

"Erm, you know the fastest ship in the Empire? we went three times faster than their FTL drive. thanks only to these crystals." Jad came back with a blueish-green glowing crystal sealed in some kind of glass bubble.
"this is a very dangerous compound. touching it in liquid or gas form will kill you instantly. as a crystal it resonates at a certain frequency. My engine processes the liquid and solid forms. the gas is siphoned into my weapons, making my ship hit as hard as a capital ship. The Empire banned the use of these things for their hazardous methods of collection and processing... but I happen to have my own method of getting these. It's Pyresian tech that uses this stuff, other stuff kind of... explodes..."
Jad sighed and went back to the engineering of his ship, "that's a hologram generator. If I gave you a real one, you could drop it and kill us all. Erm, if you see a flashing red button, press it. and not the one on my steering wheel."

Typical... Matt thought, walking back towards the ship. "I didn't want to go, anyway."
Sighing, he climbed back into the Atlantis. There he found Rosa along with some person he did not know.
"Er... Rosa, who is this?" he asked.

There was a clatter of metal followed by that, and an, "aha! Gotcha!" followed by a loud 'thwack!'

But that DOES give me an idea... he thought.
Eyeing Rosa, Matt said, "The robot didn't try to kill you, did she?"

"Ah. I'm a lead scientist from sentinel system." he gave an odd smile, "I could tell you what happens there, but then you would need to be destroyed... And yes, that robot there did try to destroy me, but she happens to have a soul."
