"The redhead set the house on fire," she said as she stopped. While she was standing still she realized that her dress was in the burning house as a lite gust of wind sailed by. Although saddened by the loss of a fine piece of clothing, she stepped closer to Fei and continued. "And, I think the wolf is still inside..."

Fey looked at the fire roaring out of the windows as Aali told him what had happened. "I'm going to gut that beast if he's killed that feline." Fey said as he jumped back into the burning mansion. He ran towards the bedroom but was stopped by the flames. Where are they? he wondered.

As Fey jumped into the burning house, Aali lifted her hand, as if to reach out and stop him, but she said nothing. He would find that the catgirl was dead, and react in such a manner as to kill the other wolf. She wondered if she should go back in and tell him herself that the redhead killed herself.
She stood silently, but made a decision. She would tell him when he came back out.

Rabbit guzzled thirstily at the clear spring as it bubbled from the rock. Her forepaws rested on the mossy rocks and water dripped from her chin as she drank. She raised her head in alarm at a rustling sound nearly, and scuttled under a nearby redfern, her little heart beating at a mad pace. She held perfectly still in the shadows, listening, waiting as the sound grew closer. Rabbit sighed in relief as a vole appeared at the spring. She seethed inwardly, raging at the gods who banished her to this tiny, weak mortal body. She was Marshal Tian! Commander of the Heavens! She trembled in anger...Ooh! The redfern had some tasty shoots peeking through the humus-rich soil. Suddenly distracted from her ire, she ate them down to the roots and saw more nearby. Thus, she wandered through the wood, from one tasty morsel to another till her stetched-taut belly complained. The native birds and insects made a constant hum that was soothing to her ears, with the background music of a stream tinkling nearby. Time to do some serious digesting. She pushed her way into the thick of a berry bramble, and feeling safe and full, rested her noble chin on her paws and fell asleep.

A few minuits passed by before Fey reemegged from the fire holding the remains of one of the Kaelans weapons. The blade was snapped in half and scoarched black from the heat. She was indeed dead, and Santiel was nowhere to be found. Fey tossed the blade aside and turned back into his human form as he headed back to Aali. He stood next to her and watched the fire burn without saying anything for awhile. Finally he spoke. "Let's go." He said softly before turning and headed back into the forest.

Rabbit woke hungry. Her stomach growled as she scratched her ears with her hind feet. She looked around, but there was no remaining foodstuff in the area. The stream gurgled in the distance, luring her for a drink. Without a thought for her safety, she made her way to the stream but the bank was too steep. Irritated, Rabbit followed the stream down until she found a sandy area where she could drink in comfort, then she turned back to the wood looking for food, wet sand and debris clinging to her paws. There was no redfern here, but she found a berry bush with succulent treats hanging low enough for her to reach. She cleaned off the lower branches and loped off in search of something more substantial. A low rumble put her on alert. She ducked into cover and shivered a while, but the rumbling came no closer. Curious, she followed the sound until she was face-to-rump with a huge minotaur. She turned and silently made her way to the safety of a hollow under a root, where she could watch the beast. Grasses tempted her from her hiding place and she ate until well-gorged before returning. Aside from an occasional twitch, the minotaur remained motionless. In awe, Rabbit watched the heaving sides of the minotaur as he breathed. His musky scent entranced her. She didn't noticed the scuffling of the badger behind her, till she screamed in rage at Rabbit's intrusion and clawed at her flank. Rabbit jumped and ran blindly away, until she smacked her head into the wall of red fur.

Aali followed silently, looking around even as she walked. Santaiel was out there, and she knew it. She kept looking behind her as if she was expecting a sudden attack.
She spoke suddenly, her voice running with sympathy for him and the loss of his friend.
"I'm sorry about your friend..." she whispered. "I don't think she knew that I was trying to disarm her... She burned the house... And my dress..."
Aali felt somewhat responsible for the redhead's death, and decided that the topic was grim. She opted to change the subject at her first chance.
"My poor dress..."
She thought it was funny that she should lose her dress while traveling with a guy, and wondered if he honestly wasn't even slightly entertained by it. She thought this for a short time, but the sudden whiff she got of him made her remember that he was a dog. She shut her eyes tightly and realised that she had already gotten used to his scent, but that sniff snapped her out of it. 'Whew!' she thought to herself, 'He's deffinately a dog! But... He's got a nice... Pony tail.'
She looked back again to make sure Santaiel wasn't behind them.

Fey stopped abruplty and quickly turned to face Aali. "She was no friend of mine." He said coldly. "From the moment we met and her foul stench filled my nostrils we were enemy's, And no matter what has happened it shall stay that way." He turned back to the path he was following and continued on his way. "Theres a cave up ahead and a village just past that. We should rest and prehaps find you some clothing."
He didn't care about clothing one bit. But the area was usually filled with humans and a nude femal could attract alot of unwanted attention.

As Fey turned around and started yelling, she paused and looked into his face. She realised that she must have upset him by calling the catgirl his friend. Angry and unpleased with the title she gave his relationship with the redhead, he turned back to the path and left her standing there silently.
After a moment, she sighed deeply and forced herself to continue behind him. She couldn't come up with anything to say after that. She found herself thinking about her dress, and what she'd replace it with, deciding on a short black slip.
'Fey here seems uninterested in a fine female figure. Maybe he's gay..?' she smiled at the idea, but actually started wondering about it.
'Or maybe he thinks I smell as weird as he smells to me... That's probably it,' she thought while attempting to suppress a giggle. She looked back again to make sure Santaiel wasn't following them.

'That Kaelan my friend... what is wrong with with that girl?' He thought as They approched the Cave. "It smells like humans in here." He said as he went deeper into the darkness of the cave. The smell grew stronger and stronger as he went deeper into the cave. His snout leading him towards a dim light off in the distance. He approched cautiously hearing the sound of wood crackling and mens voices. He quickly took off towards the light transforming as he ran. Swiping angrily to the back of one of the mens head. He let out a ferocious roar as his claws sunk deep into the mans skull. He quickly looked towards the other man in the room and growled angirly.

At first, Aali wondered what Fey was getting worked up over. When he darted off in a stalking manner, she continued following in her pouncy walk. As she made her way to the scene, she looked down at the blood that now swam along the ground. The other man in the cave stared into Fey's eyes as if he was holding him in place with them. Fey snarled, and the man did nothing, locked in his spot from fear. Aali yanked up a blanket that lay near their fire and in front the dead man. Luckily, she snatched it before the blood could make its way onto it. She went about her business as if the man didn't bother her at all, then she got an idea.
"Give me your shirt and I won't kill you," she ordered. The man opened his mouth to retort, but Fey's glowing eyes made him think twice. He yanked it off as quickly as humanly possible and threw it over the fire to her. After she caught it, she spoke once more before slipping it on.
"I won't kill you. You're not at my mercy anymore... I didn't say anything about him, though..."
She stepped closer to the fire and away from the pool of blood, threw her blanket down and carefully dropped herself onto it.
'I hope he doesn't get too messy with the poor guy' she thought to herself.

The man began stumbling backwards away from Fey and Aali. Fey flashed his sharp teeth towards the man then threw his dead friend at him. Blood sprayed onto the mans face blinding him as the body knocked him to the cave floor. He screamed in horror trying to get away. Fey walked over and stepped ontop of the dead mans body pinning down the living one. He reached down and grabbed the mans head giving it a twist before he changed back into his human form. With the humans out of the way Fey began to go through twhat possesions they did have. "Do you eat human Aali?" He asked looking over at her.

Santaiel groaned in pain as he opened his eyes a slit. He awakened to find himself under a pile of smoldering rubble, lying on grass. What the hell…? he thought to himself. He was cut and bruised, several huge nasty ones covering his lower body. He also had several scrapes and quite a few burns. His clothes were ravaged. He opened his eyes a little wider and turned his head. Pain washed over him all anew and his vision went white. He tried to move again and the throbbing rendered him unconscious.
Lana and Marianna moved back into the forest a ways and huddled worriedly against a tree. Lana keeping on the lookout for predators and the werebeasts, Marianna continued to hide her face in her mother’s chest, still leaking silent tears.
