I saw Mello. He was done cooking. I ran over, dropped my katanas,and gave him a hug.
"Food done?" I asked.
"Yup, i made dinner for everyone, because, well, I made a lot, and you all look hungry..." He trailed off. I went to put the katanas away, and came back...
"Let's go eat!" I shouted. Mello grabbed my hand.
"You're going to like it, breaded cod, baked and crispy with tar tar sauce, lemon, and garden salad." He explained while we walked.
Wow, i never felt so hungry! Everyone seemed to drool over it.

Yay! Lemon. I felt my stomache growl. We walked back to where Mello had set the food up.
"After you Princess." Matt bowed while I sat down.
"Be quite." I laughed as I threw a piece of cod at his head.
"Hey!" Mello shouted. "I did not just spend all this time cooking for you to throw it! Now eat!"
"Yes sir." I pouted while sticking a piece of lemony fish in my mouth. My eyes widened.
"oh my gosh Mello! This is great!!" I took another bite. He looked triumpent.
"Now everyone else have some." He smiled. Handing an extra big piece to Gone.

"Wow, this is great, Mello!" I said. I couldn't believe it.. so fantastic. I never knew...
"So, Matt, Why do you keep on calling Hyde Princess?" I asked.
Matt froze up.
"Well, uh... We were playing Mario racing, and, well, she was the princess..." He answered.
"yeah, sure!" I said and winked. I continued to eat.
Hyde blushed.
Everyone was eating and complimenting the food, it was like we were all famliy.
"We should totally have a cookout party soon with all the whammy's kids still here." I threw out the idea.
"Man, that would be awsome!!!!" Shouted Risma.
Everyone seemed to ponder on the idea.

"I call sweet details! I can make awesome sugary delecacies!" I smiled.
"It'll have to be soon, before we all leave." Near reminded. I looked around at everyone, I still didn't have anywhere I was supposed to go. Oh well, Id proably just get staioned somewhere.
"Hyde, you still don't have anywhere." Near looked at me. Howd he do that?
"oh, ummm" I looked at the others. What was I suppsed to say? That I ddn't want anyone going anywhere. That I was terrified at the prospect of my family leaving and myself leaving my only home for the past ten years. That I'd probly die without Risma and Gone near me. That I love Matt, and if I never got to see him again that I would die. Wait! I didn't love Matt. Sure I really liked him, but what was the point when hed just be leaving. No, I couldn't love him.

This was interesting, Hyde hasn't found a place to go. Yet, why was she so worried,? She wasn't one of the L's children, she had more time than we did? She had an exra year? oh, well, that's wierd. she seemed to look at Matt and then look away, blushing.
Did she like Matt?
Of couse she did, it was obvious!
And Matt liked her too...
This was too easy to figure out!
Soon, everyone was done eating, and me and Hyde started cleaning up. everthing was clean, and we were all bored again.
"well, i'm going to my room, you guys. come and join me if you wish," I said. Of course, Mello followed me.

"I'm kinda tired all of a sudden. I think I'll go back to my room." I headed to my room. I kicked of my shoes and flopped down on my bed. It was then that I relized I hadn't been listinging to my music. I turned it on and up, perhapes louder then my ears could handel, i didn't care. I just cared about them leaving.
Then shouldn't you be with them right now instead of pouting? Shut up little voice. I don't want you right now. But I'm here and thats that. I rolled my eyes at the little voice in the back of my mind. The song ended and I became aware of a pounding on my door. Too lazy to move I simply shouted.
"Its open." Matt walked in and sat on my bed. I turned down the music.
"You ok?"
"Fine, why?"
"It just seemed like you had been acting strange is all."
"Well, I'm fine." I said alittle roughly.
"Ok. Don't get mad."
"Im not mad." I pouted.
"Then don't be upset."
"....."
"Whats the matter."
"......I don't want you guys to leave." I whispered and and turned my head from him.
"oh." We sat there for a few minuets before the silince was broken by my sniffle.
"Oh!" Matt exclaimed and jumped. "Don't cry! um..." I started crying harder. He started looking around the room. Then he hugged me.
'Wha-" He started rocking back and forth.
"Shhh...Its ok Hyde. Don't worry. Just because they leave doesn't mean theyre abondoning you, we all stay in touch. All right?" I sniffled and nodded.
"Here, dry your eyes and lets go have some fun with them before its too late." I nodded and got out of bed, wiping my eyes on my shirt.
"Thanks Matt."
"Anytime." He gave my shoulders a squeeze and we walked down to Gones room.
((wow that was really long.))

I heard a soft knock on my door.
"Welcome..." I trailed off. They entered my room. Hyde looked like she had cried.
"Hyde, are you okay?" I asked.
" She was just sad we were all going to leave soon, that's all." said Matt.
Hyde looked like she was going to cry again. I looked over and i gave her a hug.
"I have an idea!" I said.
"What is it?" hyde looked at me hopefully.
"Near, is it possible to have friends live with you too if they need somewhere to live, even if you are a L's child?" I asked.
"I don't see any problem with that, if she was willing to move to where you are moving. That friend would have to be old enough, though," said Near.
"Well then, Hyde, how would you like to be my roomate down in america?" I asked.

I was speechless. All I could do was nod...alot.
"Well there you go Hyde." Matt smiled. I was so happy I couldn't belive a momment ago I was just sniviling about being alone.
"Thank you so much Gone! I'll do whatever I can to help!" I hugged her tightly.
"Thank you too Near." I gave Near a slightly awkward hug.
"No problem."

"Well, i figured that you needed somwhere to go, and if you don't want to leave us, or be alone miles away, then why don't move with us? I mean, what's the big deal with that? But, we'll be busy a lot, you know. So please keep that in mind. I was thinking Florida, by the beach apartment with a balcony, two rooms, two bathrooms, good rent... It's just an idea." I explained.
"Wow, that sounds wonderful!" Shouted Hyde, wiggling in her shoes, jumping up and down.
"Get ahold of yourself Hyde!" I said.
"Sorry," she said back and sat on my bed.
"Wow, that was really nice of you Gone, are you sure about this?" asked Near.
"Of course I'm sure, she's one of my best friends!" I said enthusiastically.
'Awwww..." Hyde trailed off.
"Well then, on the list of people to move, I guess Hyde will go into your secondary spot, as a roomate of course." Said Near. "I'll also have to tell roger you found someplace to live and that you will be leaving at the end of the summer with gone."
"But, one question, you trust me enough to live with Gone, one of the L children, with all of the stuff going on?" Asked Hyde.
"Well, Gone is 18, she should be able to make her own choices and/or risks," Explained Near, "I'm not one to interfere. But she still can't share classified information with you."
"Okay then,"
"But, the thing with World placement, why would you put all of 'Your children' out there, aren't they supossed to try to surpass you?" asked Gone.
"Well, with the incident with L, we all need help sometimes when it comes to investigations as dangerous as the one he faced, plus, the children get to go out into the world and be themselves, while keeping identities secret, to do what they allways wanted to do, like raise a family and stuff. So, it is better for the development of adults and lives themselves. not all of my children are grown up though, and this will carry on from generation to generation of L's children. So, Really, it makes plenty of sense if you think about it. It's a new year, it's time to make new changes, like a new years resolution." Near stated.
We all nodded in aproval of his thoughts.

((wait were we all just at the beach during an England winter? lol XP))
End of summer. Hmmm that could be a while off. I sat back and thought about all the time Ive spent at Wammys, all the laughs, all the tears, all the classes-
"Oh crap!" I suddenly exclaimed making everybody jump. I squeezed my eyes shut and counted back since the last day.
"Breaks almost over!"
"Thats it!?" Gone yelled at me. "You nearly gave me a bloody heart attack.
"Sorry." I blushed.
"Well, that really sucks." Matt pointed out.

((No no no no no.... This is summer vacation! not winter! XD We all leave at the end of summer vacation!))
Wow, I that's wierd, it all went by pretty quick, ya know! I mean, We've spent most our days togethr, hanging out and stuff. I can't wait until the begining of the year ball!" I shouted.
"Me too!" Hyde shouted. "But, i've got no date and everyoe else does..."
"Well," matt blushed, "Would you go with me to the ball?"
We all froze up.

I turned deep scarlet as my mind suddenly flashed to all those stories you hear about people proposing to people at sport games or in other insanly public places. Ok so this was a smaller scale. He wasn't proposing marriage and the crowds of millions were just my friends but still. I came out of my own little world to see the silence had grown awkward. The crowd of millions were getting restless.
"I would love to go with you Matt." And the crowd cheers! Oh how they love a happy ending! And now Matt and I ride off in a limo.
"Really? Cool." He sounded indiffrent but he was trying really hard to cover up the excitment in his voice. I smiled as Matt put his arm around my shoulders.

"Awww, yay for hyde!" I shouted. Risma clapped, and i hugged hyde. She was shaking more than a phone on vibrate! She giggles and Matt took her hand.
"And shall i, as the gentleman, ask you a question?" Asked Matt.
"y-y-y-yeah?" said hyde.
"Do you need a hug?" He asked.
"YES!" She shouted and held him close....
The peices of summer were fitting together slowly...

Ok, so maybe my nerves were jumpy and I was shaking, at least I didn't throw up.
"Cold?" He asked.
"No, actually, Im quite content."
"Good, Id hate for my Princess to feel discomfort." I blushed.
"AWWWW" Gone and Risma said at the same time. Gone turned to Mello.
"Am I your princess Mello?" She asked.
"No." Mello, pulled Gone closer to him. "Your my goddess." She blushed.

I was soooo happy! I could belive this was happening so fast like this! I blushed bright red. I went into my closet and got my Pj's.
"SLEEPOVER IN MY ROOM!" I declared and giggled. I ran out of my room, and I went to the bathrooms to change. My bedtime t-shirt said: Living dead girl. I put on my mini shorts that were black, pink, and white plaid (Matches the colors on the shirt). I brushed my hair, and put on my skull animals slippers, with my sunglasses on my head, for some reason, and sprayed purfume on me. I was BEAUTIFUL! I was a little exited, and I ran back to my room. Everyine had considred my party idea. Tomarrow, we were going to the mall to shop (Just decided). Everyone was coming back slowly. Mello, then Matt, Risma, and finally Hyde. Near obviously had buisness. So, It was time to have some fun!
