Nikolai Vampain returned to find Sparda and Kanna waiting. "No how did you find." Sparda looked at him, "The famous Vampains I am quite surprised they're are human vampains left." Nikolai drawed his sword and charged toward Sparda, Sparda grabbed him and tossed him into a boulder. "Kanna we can't let him get the blade otherwise he will kill both of us." Nikolai moved toward his dropped bag and out came the broken blade. Nikolai moved forward to grab the blade.

Kanna got to the blade before Nikolai. It burned in her hand, but she delt with the pain. She ran towards the forest. Her hand was turning black. "I'll go get rid of this blade." She said. Since she wasn't a true Vampain, the blade idn't kill her as easily or as fast as it would have Sparda, but if she didn't get rid of the blade soon.......

Sparda kicked Nikolai against the wall, "Descendant of the first vampire hunter the one who defeated me, William." Nikolai looked at Kai, "Get the blade now is our chance." Sparda didn't notice Kai until now and Sparda looked up and saw him, "NOO!" Sparda spoke to Kanna through her mind, "Kanna your brother is going to try and take the blade make sure he doesn't but don't harm yourself." Nikolai grabbed a cross and a sword and pushed at Sparda. Suddenly a sword went through Sparda and then Nikolai shoved the cross into the wound. "Bishop now!" Sparda looked on as the Arch Bishop laughed, "Sparda you fool you have no help now. We wanted your friend to leave so when the time came you would be helpless. There is another way to kill you the cross burning in your heart." The Arch Bishop pulled out the seal, "Your mind will be erased Sparda."

Kanna looked at Kai. She nodded at Sparda before he had been severely hurt and jumped off. Just then she heard something pierce flesh. "No! Sparda!" She stopped and started back towards him
Kai stopped her. "I can't let you go back Kanna. Hand the sword over to me." He said holding out his hand. "Its hurting you. Please hand it over."
Kanna stared at him clutching the sword. She had forgotten the pain until Kai reminded her. It hurt a lot, but she kept hold of it. "Kai, please. Don't try to stop me. Sparda is going to train me to become stronger. I need to become stronger to protect you and our friends!"
Kai cut her off. "You think Sparda will train you without a price?! Kanna, he is killing innocent humans! The very beings you and I swore to protect!" Kai jumped towards her, but Kanna evaded him and ran towards a small clearing. She set the sword down and said a sealing spell. "Komba, Hiata, natsumi, gorika, shimota, cumpoly--" She went on like that for a few minutes until Kai stood behind her. Kanna had successfully sealed the sword before he got there. Then she picked up the pendant the sword was sealed in and headed for Sparda again.

Before the Arch Bishop could finish, on the horizon came the armies, Sparda pulled out the cross and laughed, "Too late priest." Sparda grew a shadow arm that started eating the priest. Nikolai crawled away and rung a bell, soldiers came out of the Holy Order HQ and lined up.

Kanna had reached Sparda in time for the armies to arrive. Her left arm hung uselessly to her side. She had held onto the sword for too long, but that didn't matter now. She wore the pendant around her neck. It didn't hurt her since the sword and its power was sealed.
Kai had grabbed her good arm and stopped her from reaching Sparda. "Kanna, I won't let you return to Sparda." She said. Saphira appeared and Kai was forcing Kanna onto her back.

Sparda looked over at Saphira and smiled his eyes went blood red and 5 shadow arms grew out and grabbed Saphira by the throat. Sparda floated over to Kanna and Kai. Sparda looked at Kanna, "I think you are ready as you show loyalty and show promise." Sparda cut his arm and blood spilled out. "Kanna you shall become as powerful as me."

Saphira struggled against Sparda's grip on her neck. She could barely breath.
Kai said a spell that helped Saphira get free from Sparda. He saw Sparda cut his arm off and he stood in front of Kanna holding her tight.
Kanna could smell the thick smell of blood. Her vampire form started to take over. Her eyes turned a very bloody black again as she struggled out of Kai's grip. She unknowingly used strength she had gotten from the first time she had drank Sparda's blood. She managed to get away from Kai and lept to the blood and started to drink.

Nikolai nodded at Kai, he wanted him to grab the pendant while Sparda and Kanna weren't looking and toss it to him. Nikolai grabbed the seal from the Arch Bishop's ripped up body.

Kai got behind Kanna in one swift movement and grabbed the pendant. He jumped back.
Kanna had felt Kai take the pendant and forced herself to stop drinking. She couldn't let anyone take it. She hissed. All the blood she had taken in started to take over her. Her body told her to rip Kai up and burn him, but the part of Kanna that was still sane refused. She felt stronger. A lot stronger. She was faster then Kai. She had retrieved the pendant and got back in less than a second. Unfortunately her left arm was still severely damaged. The blade had reacted to Sparda's blood inside her, so even if she drank more of his blood, it wouldn't have done anything.

Nikolai saw the crusaders get slaughtered by Sparda's army. Nikolai grabbed two swords and ran through the army slashing wildly to get to where Sparda, Kanna, and Kai stood. Sparda looked at the human in awe, "That is it finally a human with courage, a hero. If all humans were like this I wouldn't hate them so. Come on human lets see how strong your will is." Nikolai hack and slashed his way until he reached Sparda. Sparda threw a sword into Nikolai's arm and laughed, "Come on human your arm looks like it is going to fall off." Nikolai looked up and smiled, "Quit your boasting, its just a arm and its more than enough to defeat you." Sparda smiled, "Perfect a challenge worth me being alive." Sparda jumped down and pulled out a sword, Nikolai pulled out a seal different from the one used by the Bishop. Sparda grinned, "The Last text, one the fabled lost spells used by the Holy Knight during ancient times." Nikolai smiled, "Thats right." Sparda looked at him, "No its not worth becoming a monster, to defeat a monster you must be a human, do you wish to end our struggle already?"

Kanna was a little surprised that Nikolai would go so far as to turn himself into a monster to defeat Sparda.
Kai jumped to Nikolai's side, getting ready to protect him.

Nikolai threw down the seal and a spike came out and pierced Nikolai into his heart. Nikolai's arm regenerated and black angel wings came out of his back. Sparda grinned, "You..... Idiot..... I am to be beaten by a human, I see that even the bravest of mortals fall under pressure." Sparda grew out giant bat wings and charged toward Nikolai. Nikolai's wing turned into a spike and he thrust it toward Sparda. Sparda easily dodged the attack and ripped off his wing and stabbed Nikolai with the spike wing. Sparda smiled, "You see..... only a man can kill a monster."

Kanna smelled blood again from Nikolai. She forced herself to stay under control. She could feel power flowing through her from Sparda's blood.
Kai jumped at Sparda and stabbed him with a hidden dagger.

Sparda threw Kai off of his back making sure not to hurt him. Suddenly Nikolai charged at Sparda, Sparda countered and knocked him into the ground. Sparda smiled, "You are now monster but one who is not forsaken and you are blessed in a way. However you have lost what all desire to have after so long..... humanity." Sparda tossed Nikolai into the wall, Nikolai sprung up and grabbed his sword, "For once your right Sparda." Nikolai plunged his sword into his body and retrieved the holy seal spike. Nikolai gushed out blood but and charged at Sparda. Sparda was in shock of seeing a human with enough heart to battle it out against him with no "great holy sword". Nikolai grabbed his sword and plunged it into Sparda and pulled out the seal the Arch Bishop had. He began to read it and Sparda could not move he was stuck against the cliff wall. Nikolai read the began to finish the last sentence, "And let this abomination be imprisoned or cursed under this creed......"
