((Roran Sora. It's Roran..and Katrina.))
On the other hand, I was there..Alianae thought, keeping them to herself. "Seeing as we're going to Helgrind to fight, whatever, why don't I make it look like there are three dragons, not just Saphira and Ingothold? We could scare Galbatorix out of his wits..a dragon he would recognise..Fira maybe.." she winced. "I never did like that saying. Kill two birds with the one stone.." she shot a look at Minae, fleetingly, and an amused look flittered across her face. "It seems rather mean..against humanity..(not that I can talk there..)..cruel to take life like that." Yes. There was definently a bemused expression glinting in her eyes.
'As to the subject of Murtagh..how do you know there are loopholes? Do you not think a tyrant like Shruiken would think of everything?"She bit her lip, noticing a slip of the tongue, but did not pursue it further.

(( sweatdrop eh...oops? ))
"It's a good thing then, that you haven't seen Carvahall during the hunting season," Eragon(I was just about to write 'Sora') said. "They would kill to be able to find animals as well as elves can. Especially for the Magic words of death," he finished. "Maybe then, Sloan will be put out of business."

Sloan... Fira... Why did those names sound so ANNOYINGLY familiar? Sloan.. Wasn'T he in one of Eragon's stories from Palencar Valley? and Fira... FIRA... Minasia played with the name for a while before coming to the comclusion that she was probably making fake memories out of nothing and purely imagining things.
"I'd have to agree... The bird thing, that is..." She muttered distantly, looking down at the ground.
Now, there were far more farms and cultivated lands than the fifteen minutes before. Minae seemed... Disturbed about this, somehow. Or maybe it was what she was thinking so much about...? In any case, before anyone could ask anything, she brusquely snapped her head up and stared at alianae for a while, before whispering under short breaths, choosing her words:
"There HAS to be some information missing... Loopholes that even Murtagh hadn't seen... Nobody's perfect; there HAS to be at least SOME mistake somewhere in thsoe accursed oaths..."

The farmland below them changed to settlements and tents. The Army of Surda, along with the survivors of Carvahall, were all camped out down below, expectant of another confrontation with the army of Galbatorix. "Should we stop here? Or check in at the castle?" Eragon asked.
I vote that we check in at the castle, Saphira said, waiting for the others to reply.

"The castle. It would appear more courteous on your behalf Eragon. Just remind them not to serve meat. Nor, for Minasia there, bird." Yes. She was definently having too much fun for her own good.
"Aye, nobody is perfect. But how long do you think Galbatorix has had time to work on this oath? His forced dragon does not go against his wishes, even though Shruiken is not his by right. Loopholes? May Fate bless us with such luck. So, what colour dragon do you think would scare them the most? A haunting from the past maybe? A gold dragon, like Glaedr?"

Minasia's fringers slowly tapped one at a time, on each side of Ingothold's long neck. She seemed to be pondering over something... Not at all about what Alianae had asked; she had been like this for a little while, now, thinking... Daydreaming, maybe? In any case, Ingothold quickly brought her back to order as she muttered a faint 'Ing, what's the matter...?' as is half-sleeping. Making her snap back even MORE so to reality was the sound of Alianae'S annoyed, waiting voice.
'Ing, did she ask something?' Minae asked, isolating her conversation from her teacher and Eragon, as well as Saphira. 'Honestly, you should stop pulling that stunt... One day, the thread that keeps you to your body will break.' The dragon repirmended, slowly diving as the castle approached underneath. 'No matter... Yes, Alianae HAS asked something; wether the third, false dragon should be ghost like, or legendary, like Glaedr, who was a sun-like gold.' 'Ask that, did she? Ah well...'
Minasia sighed and turned around again to face Eragon. Her previous, joyful expressions had apparently been replace by a queen-like visage that demonstrated perfectly her position in Alalean politics and elven communications.
"WE'll be arriving at the castle soon." she started, pointing her thumb past her right shoulder. "Once we land, you should hurry to get back on Saphira; The King will be expecting you to arrive on your Dragon's back, you see..."

Before she could finish her sentence, Eragon jumped back on Saphira, and looked at Minasia. "I know how the King and Nasuada will expect me to appear. I also think that it would be best for the dragon to appear like Glaedr. Then Galbatorix will be frightened. The prospect of a wisened dragon fighting him. Knowing the secret to his power." He paused for a second. "Being found out. That's his fear, his weakness," he said. "We can trick him into believing that we know."

Alianae nodded, suddenly appearing on the back of a golden dragon, much like Glaedr, but uncrippled. Indeed, it seemed to be Glaedr, albeit a younger version of him. "This will do. But indeed, this shall frighten the King, and Nasuada also..I suppose you call call us your teachers..without quite lying. After all, this is Glaedr.." She remarked, smiling deviously and with a wry sort of humour. She ignored Minasia, deciding to deal with her..rudeness at a later time.

Eragon looked at Alianae and the copy of Glaedr. "Shall we go then, Ebrithil?" he asked in the Ancient Language. The castle loomed up ahead, and came closer until it was underneath the three. "Let's go," he said, and Saphira drooped down to the Courtyard, where Nasuada and the King were waiting.
Nasuada looked at Saphira swoop down from the skies, departing the company of two dragons: One Black, and One Golden. When Eragon finally landed and jumped off, she called out. "Glad to see you, Eragon," and waved, alongside the King.
((Who wants to play the part of the King whose name I have forgotten? I'll call Nasuada unless someone new comes to take her.))

[[...I'LL take Nasuada; my queenly habits aren't easily forgotten what with the WoARP thread. That leaves the King to Izzy. blaugh ]]
Minasia swiftly jumped off her dragon as the... Eh, I'd was going to say 'trio', but that'd insult the dragons, really... In any case, the as the five landed, Minasia was a blur of purple, as she slowly discenerned a woman with dark skin.
'That would be-' 'Nasuada, I know, Ing.'
Minasia, upon reaching the ground, advanced in front of Ingothold and bowed curtly, struggling afterwards to pray her hair of of her visage.
"Minasia, Heir to the throne of Alalea, Eragon's Escort and Guard, Rider. And he-" she gestured at the large, NIGHT BLUE dragon, who dipped his head in salute to the leader of the Varden. "-Would be my faithful dragon, Ingothold."
Nasuada's piercing gaze strode slowly from Eragon, to Minasia, and the strange woman who landed with the Golden dragon. Glaedr? Impossible, she thought, for he was well hidden somewhere in Alagaesia.. .Dead, for all she knew.
"A pleasure to meet you, Minasia." she said slowly, bowing her head in return to Ingothold, then in trun to Saphira, and the Golden dragon... Whose presence deeply diturbed her. "Eragon... We've been waiting for your arrival for quite some time now; but please, we'll discuss that later. I'd like to know..." Nasuada nodded to the odd, third person, "What is your name, please."
Tiwrling around to now face the castle wall, before Alianae could reply, she quickly said: "Though it is a pleasure to have such a noblewoman in our courtyard, I must say your presence here is of the most disturbing..."
"You have nothing to worry about, Miss Nasuada. I'm not here for any political war or anything of the such; as I said, I am only Eragon's escort and guard."
'And the master of his heart.' Ingothold added pleasantly, though only to Minasia's intent.

Alianae thought before she answered, her eyes downcast. She leapt off Glaedr with a fluid, practiced motion. "Alianae." she said clearly and lovingly, taking each syllable and caring for it. "Of a place long forgotten. And Glaedr, dragon of the little remembered past.. With me to give the Traitor King something to fret over. We are here..as Eragon and Saphira's masters." Her voice was soft, but still carried on the wind.
King Orrin looked on with mild interest. "Well, nice to meet you all. Great to have you here. It is rare indeed that we have greeted three from among the ranks of Dragon Riders, long indeed since such a meeting has occured. And not only a representative from Alalea, but the heir..the princess? herself! What an honour indeed. Did you have a long trip? Is there anything you require? Food? Rest?"
((Hehe..King Orrin..one of the maths teachers at school is Mr Orrin..of SURDa! hehehe...))

Saphira looked at Eragon, and at her poor, dusty scales. I need a bath, she said, candidly. A river, anything. As long as there's running water, I need to clean the dirt from my scales, she finished, raising her head high.
Eragon listened to Saphira's claim, and almost laughed. "Saphira needs to bathe, she says," he remarked. "Is there a river nearby?" he said, almost laughing now.

King Orrin nodded. "The River Jiet is only about half a mile in that direction." He pointed. "It should suit your needs."
Alianae jsut..stood there, waiting. Waiting for a response..from Nasuada. The King seemed not to take any notice of her..for now, anyway. She leaned her head against Glaedr and waited.

Saphira quickly linked to King Orrin's mind to express her thanks. It was something that couldn't be done through Eragon, too impersonal. She then disconnected from his mind, looked at Eragon, who nodded, and leapt into the air, following the direction that Orrin had shown her.
Eragon looked at the King and Nasuada, and he felt his stomach rumble. For the first time, he noticed he was hungry. "Hey, Nasuada, King, is there any way we can get some food to eat? Anything will do fine...except meat."

Nasuada chickled softly at the demand, noting the typical elvish requirements; or perhaps, the LACK of it... In any case, after there was a silent agreement between herself and King Orring, Nasuada nodded simply, but spoke to Alianae first:
"The Masters of the one who's helped us since the beginning are walcomed with open arms..." she turned to Minasia, and bowed her head, adding "And I do hope that coming here wasn't too much of a burden for you..."
Minasia was a little taken back by the quick... Appology? Anyways, she stared narrow-eyed at Nasuada for a moment, both of the two locked in what seemed to be a war-like gaze. After which, Minasia sighed and turned her head.
"Aye, something to calm our appetites would greatly be appreciated, if I'm not being too rude." she said, closing her eyes and crossing her arms aptiently.
'Alianae... Are you sure saying that... SHE'S Glaedr...? I mean, if she has half a mind, she should know that you're not telling the truth...'
Ingothold slightly bowed his head when agreeing to Minasia'S statement, but covered it quickly as a shake of the head.
'I'll be off with Saphira; My scales are as dirty as a covered sun.' and on that, he, too, flew off in the sky, and after a few seconds, was nothing more than a black blur among the clouds.
"Well then..." Nasuada started anew, reclaiming the attention of the small crowd. "If you will please follow me, we already have quite a nice feast for you all."
