Negi, with Chamo's help, finally finds Satomi, bumping right into her back. "Oof." He backs up a few steps, shaking his head before looking up at her and smiling. "Oh, Satomi-san. You had wanted to talk to me?" He smiles up at her before looking to the cloaked man she talks to. Who's he...?

"Grk...!" Chamo recoils a bit from the sheer number of scents coming from one source. "A-Aniki...!" The ermine whispers to Negi. "This guy isn't normal. Too many smells... Mostly animal scents, and..." Oh, this scent is sickening. The ermine has to recompose himself and bury his nose in Negi's shoulder or something before he can talk with confidence again. "Burnt flesh... human, mostly."

Negi looks from Chamo to the man in jacket and pants standing before him and Satomi, watching him carefully, though he tries to not make it too obvious.

"What conversation?" He chuckles slightly, but he stops as Negi arrives on the scene; specifically, when he realized that Negi knew who this girl was. Naturally, he'd never seen the boy before in his life, and after the conversation he'd had with Satomi, he doesn't exactly want to be talking about such delicate matters; and he doesn't need any other information at this point. "Thank you for your assistance." He reached into his pocket and pulled out a business card, handing it casually into it to her.

It was totally blank, besides from a cell phone number written in barely-legible, almost childlike letters. "Here's my cell phone number if you need me at all." Without going into too much detail; obviously not wanting to tip the smaller child off as to what could be going on. Adjusting his glasses slightly, he smiles as he shoves his hands into his pockets and turns around, starting to walk off at a very leisurely pace. If anyone was going to stop him from leaving at this point, it wouldn't be hard; he wasn't exactly hurrying.

Tsukuyomi walked down the path as she was playing with a few of the deer's in the park. She was content but still hungry as she thought about what to do for breakfast. Her boss was gone and now she needed to find food without pay... she sighed as she adjusted her glasses. She began walking as she headed out of the park and toward the Cinema Village since they had food and she could probably steal some if needed.

Satomi was silent as she took the card, letting out no more than a long sigh before she pocketed it and frowned, looking down at her special watch she had made, causing her to think of Sosuke and Driviline. She was quick to send a quick message, practically whispering into it before she sent the voice message to Sosuke, where he would hear the voice clip. She didn't want to really talk to him at all, just send him that message, that's all.

Again, she sighed a little after that, taking her time to adjust her glasses as she found herself unable to even look at the martial artists demonstration ahead and instead becoming lost in her thoughts as she sat at the bench. That is, until Negi approached her, breaking her attention a bit. She slowly looked up towards him, the disheartened expression still on her face as she forced a pained smile, nodding slowly to her sensei as she didn't move, letting him take a seat if he wanted. "Yea... I did. I didn't expect you to come looking for me though." She replied with a rather dull tone in her voice as she sat there, unable to even look at her teacher at the moment, instead looking down at her open palm which soon clenched into a fist. She wasn't sure how to say this, and instead, fell silent as she tried to find the right words, not knowing how she could really come across telling him what she wanted to without causing any trouble.

Negi takes a seat beside her and watches her, tilting his head a bit to the side, curious. What was wrong? She seems depressed... She usually seemed so happy and upbeat, enthusiastic. "What's wrong, Satomi-san? Talk to me, c'mon..." He looks at her, concern clear on his face. "Talk to me, please. I'll listen."

"Ane-san! Sometimes, the best way to get what's on your mind out there is to just say it! It's faster and beating around the bush might only embarrass you or get you flustered." Chamo nods, standing on Negi's shoulder, watching Satomi from his perch there.

Still looking down at her hands that were now balled into fists, she noticed the cuts still healing around her right one from the heavy punch she threw the other day, and slowly, this caused her to relax her hands a bit, as if she was still trying to sort out her thoughts. Honestly, Chamo wasn't helping much either with this, and she had a violent urge to hit him, causing her to once again come to a realization of how this school year was really beginning to effect her. She knew if she remained in Mahora, something would snap. She had already been through so much in her life already that it was a miracle that she hadn't done anything dangerous already. But she always kept herself calm, she always wore that smile no matter the pain. Though... she was beginning to slip, that mask she had been wearing for so long now was riddled with cracks. If she stayed any longer, then not only would it shatter, but she might not even survive, it had become too dangerous for her to stick around this school any longer. That was why she had to...

"I have to leave... Sensei. I can't stay at Mahora any more..."

"S... Satomi-san...?" Negi blinks at her before, Chamo in shock as well. "Why? Why must you go?" He leans toward her, frowning, his voice hushed. This was bad. He had to convince her to stay... why was it she would want to leave, anyway? "Tell me... maybe I can help." He tries to get a look into her eyes, his youthful face serious, concerned... such for a ten year old, it's shocking to see someone his age like that. Growing up to fast? But, he -is- a teacher... He must be mature and handle situations like this with care.

"I can't!!" Suddenly, she shouted out, her hands trembling and her eyes shutting before she buried her face in her arms, pulling in her knees closer to herself as she hid her face in her arms like this. She didn't seem to be crying, Satomi always tried her hardest never to let a tear fall, but it looked like she was pretty close to it almost sobbing a bit as she tried to gather herself.

"...I just can't... This place has brought me nothing but misery this year. I've been bit by vampires, nearly turned into a monster, almost died three times, a-and I saw a man get killed because of my actions. This place, these people... I can't... I just can't go on like this.. how can you be so blind to it all...?" She sounded like she was on the berge of crying, removing her glasses while she kept her head in her arms, looking like she had nearly broken down completely at this point.

Negi jumps back a bit as she bursts out, shocked a bit before placing a hand on her back. "Satomi-san..." He frowns softly at her, thinking on what to say in response. Someone... died last night? He didn't know that, but... this was hardly the time for that, no. He needs to focus on Satomi, questions later. "Satomi-san... I doubt your actions were purposefully geared toward that end... but... more than that... don't tell me this year has only brought you pain, please. That hurts me. You've met me, haven't you? And Regan-san, and Xenon-san... When you say that you've only suffered, that hurts the people that you've met that have brought you joy..."

Even the often brash and insensitive Chamo felt the gravity of the situation right now, putting his bluntness aside for a more tactical approach. This wasn't the time to make blunt, rude suggestions. "Ane-san. If you're worried about your safety, one of the best ways to make yourself safer right now is to make a provisional contract with Aniki."

"A-and, besides that, Satomi-san... If you ever need me, I will protect you. You're my student... of course I would do that for you." Though a bit flustered by Chamo's suggestion of a pact, he sees the sense in it, but he diverts from it none the less... It would give Satomi a tool to protect herself with, and it would allow her to talk with him telepathically, enabling her to call for his help whenever she would need it. Should he mention that...?

{Sosuke, dragging Driviline along, arrives at Nara Park, hidden by bushes.}

Tempted to just jump off the damn stage at Kiyomizu, Sosuke had taken an alternate route, one that his father had taught him. It was a route from the forests at Kiyomizu to the edge of the forest at the edge of Nara Park. From there, with one hand dragging Driviline by the fabric of his brightly decorated Hawaiian shirt, had snuck from boulder, to tree, to bush, to get as near as Satomi as he could, without being seen.

They'd arrived just at the part, "misery this year. I've been bit by vampires, nearly turned into a monster, almost died three times, a-and I saw a man get killed because of my actions. This place, these people... I can't... I just can't go on like this.. how can you be so blind to it all...?"

Hesitating to go confront Satomi, since Negi Springfield, and that ermine was with her. But Sosuke felt bad at her words. Although he hadn't know about the other things Satomi had experienced, no doubt that her almost being bit by a vampire was his fault.

Driviline was dusting himself off when he heard the last words that Satomi said. For some odd reason, he was only getting angry. He marched right up and stood in front of Satomi. He grabbed her shoulders just to make sure that he would get her full attention. "Satomi! You think all that happened recently was hard? Well, that is life! This type of danger is everywhere!" He gently let go of her as he turn around trying to hide his tears from her. "And besides, me and Sosuke need you. You woke up my human heart, Satomi." There was a sniffing sounds as he took off his shades to wipe away the tears again. He turned around with his yellow eyes glowing. "Satomi, if you are going to leave, don't let the reason be that you are scared! You have strong allies Satomi! And we will do whatever it takes to help you! Don't you ever forget that!"

Sosuke sucked in his breath when he saw Driviline just march up right to Satomi. Right now, Satomi didn't seem like she was emotionally stable, and Driviline's outburst might not have rubbed her the right way. Then again, this was Driviline, and he always had some sort of way of making things right. Joining Driviline at his side, Sosuke checked to make sure Driviline was a-okay, and then focused his gaze on Satomi. "On the outside, Satomi-chan, you've always been the glue that held all of us together. But inside, perhaps it's not the case." Sosuke said quietly, removing his aviators. "But I know you have the potential to be stronger on the inside, I know you do, Satomi-chan. It doesn't matter what happened the night before, or earlier. Back then, you never really showed us who you truly were underneath. Forget those days, and start anew. You're a new person, Satomi-chan."

For a moment, it looked like Negi's words really had a deep effect on her. She was silent, taking a long, slow breath as if she was clearing her thoughts a little, and she let his words sink in. She almost gave a pained laugh at him, finding him to be so mature, nearly more than she was that it was astounding and amusing. But he was her sensei for a reason, and she respected him for how smart and responsible he was. It was funny really, finding that this little boy was actually able to get through to her a bit, but his words was so mature, and so bold, that it was a bit of an eye opener. He was looking out for her, promising her safety and looking actively for a way to help her, even suggesting a pactio, which she actually thought seriously about for a bit.

Did he... really mean that? Why would he really go out of his way so much for her? It was so much to take in, but.... she beleived him. There was something about that look on his face and in those hazel brown eyes of his that told her just how much he meant it. Slowly, her arms that were on her lap began to wander his way, and she lightly clasped on hand around Negi's, looking at him with a slightly releived expression, his words seeming to get through to her. "Do you... really mean it, Negi-sensei..?" She asked slowly, her words almost stuttering as she spoke, still in a little bit of disbeleif over all of this.

Before she would be able to find a responce from Negi though, it was Driviline who snapped her out of this state, as her eyes widened a bit in shock when she felt his hands wrap around her shoulders, and he nearly shouted at her. Initially, she was startled by this, but then her eyes casted away, and a distant look came to her face as she spoke while he did.

"Stop it..."

Over Driviline's shouting though, her words were drowned out, and she continued to become subjected to what he yelled towards her. That was how life was? Not a -normal- life. Woke up his human heart? They'll do whatever it takes for her...? His words were empty to her, and she couldn't beleive him. How could she beleive him when she was still afraid of him? She had seen it several times already, he was a monster, she doubted he meant a single word.

"I said stop it..."

But again, her words were washed out by something else; this time being Sosuke who spoke, giving her words of encouragement that she could only doubt. She held them all together? Potential to be a strong person. Start anew...? No... that was a bunch of lies. They were all lying! Why couldn't they just go away!?

"Stop!! I can't take the lies!!"

She quickly stood up after her outburst, where they could see that she was beginning to break down. Because, for the first time... she was crying. Her eyes stained with tears, Satomi shot up and shoved Driviline away so he wouldn't have a hold on her anymore, and she did the first and only thing that came to her mind to get out of hear: She ran. She didn't care where her little legs would take her, she just needed an escape. No route, no clue where she was going, she just needed to get away.

Negi smiles softly as Satomi seems to accept the suggestion from Chamo and take his hand, going to nod and enforce what he had said before Diviline showed up and ruined it effortlessly. "S-Satomi-san..." Negi starts, but she didn't seem to hear him. Soon enough, she shouts and runs off, and the child teacher quickly jumps up and runs off after her, Chamo casting a glare at the vampires. "Satomi-san, wait!"

Why did they have to show up right then!? Couldn't they have -waited- until after he'd had the situation at least partially remedied? Now look at this, she's running away... in tears, no less. He's gotta calm her down. She can't leave... At least, while at Mahora, she's under the protection of the staff, right? He must keep her safe... He's her sensei, after all.

Driviline clenced his fist in a bit of rage when Satomi said that his words were lies. He looked at Sosuke for a moment. "I am sorry for what I am about to do." He tossed his shades to Sosuke and ran to pass up Satomi. Once he was in front of her, he smacked Satomi across the face with the back of his hand. He glared at Satomi. "Snap out of it Satomi! I know you think I am some sort of monster. And you know what, YOUR RIGHT! I am a monster! I drink the blood of other living things! And for years I didn't give a care to anyone at all." The glow of his eyes started to soften a bit. "But then two people came crashing into my life and accepted me." He then hugs Satomi at this point. "You and Sosuke are the closest things I have to family, and I wouldn't trade either of you for anyone else in the world." A few of Driviline's tears feel onto Satomi's neck. "Please snap out of it, Sat-chan...... I....... I miss you."
