Ella tossed her head and whinnied. "Did you like it?" She asked Pancake.
Vivian nodded with a smile. "Yeah it did. Ella's 9 years old now, I started her under saddle at 3. So, yeah, it's taken about 6 years with training everyday." She said. "I'll work her later over Western events, she and Pancake could work at those together! But not now, dressage tack is most definetely NOT to used for western work." She said with a smile.

"Did I ever! You were amazing!" Pancake snorted tossing her head.
"Wow i geuss it all payed off!" Amy said smiling. Amy laughed. "Sounds good. How about teaching me some of your tricks?" Amy said grinning. "Though we have to pack and find out who's coming on the cattle drive tomorow. We have plenty of work to do today!" Amy said.

"i gotta get to Shadow, i need to practice with her. Say, Tom, er, dad, would you help me with Shadow's training??" Will got out of her seat and rushed out the door, her hair flying. Getting to Shadow, seeing that Shadow and Siam were fed already, Will quickly groomed Shadow and then put the Western tack on Shadow, then she led Shadow out to the other ring. setting up the barrels, she then returned to Shadow, and then entered the ring with Shadow, and then started their warm up. After the warm up, Will went around the clover-leaf barrels at a walk, then a trot, then canter, and at last, a flying gallop.

Tom laughed and quickly followed after Will, before giving his wife a kiss on the lips. Walking into the stable he passed the ring where, Amy, Vivian, Case, and Kody were and waved to them before going over to the ring were Will was riding Shadow. "Alright Will, I want you to warm Shadow up, before we start with the barrels." Tom said walking to the center of the ring.

Ella smiled. "Thank you! It's hard work, but I love doing it. You wanna work with me later in Western events?" She asked Pancake.
Vivian laughed. "Yeah, it did. Sure, I can try to." She said. "Oh yeah, we do. Well, you know I'm going, and I know you're going..." She laughed, gathering her reins. "Oh, and in dressage, we never refer to movements as tricks, just call them manuevers, a dressage trainer wuld jump down your throat if you ever said that." She said with a smile.
Majestad awoke to one of the familiar songs that Ella danced to. He stood up with a strained groan and stuck his head out of the stall door and whinnied.

Amy laughed. "I meant basic rule of thumb my trainer." Amy said grining still laughing.
Pancake returened the smiled. "Absoutly!" She said bobbing her head. Hearing the familiar whinny, Pancake's ears perecked forward, and whinnied loudly.

((Oh lol, I edited my post, it should me manuevers. xD ))
Ella smiled. "Cool!" She said. She heard her brother's whinny and whinnied in response as well.
Vivian laughed. "Well, let's work with what we currently have right now. See if you can get Pancake to walk, trot, and canter around the ring, once for each gait, all collected." She said, smiling.
Majestad smiled. "How's the workout going, girls?" He yelled from the stable.
Ella laughed. "I'm kicking your rump at dressage, bro!" She whinnied back.

Will stopped Shadow. "Whoa girl. easy does it!" Will patted Shadow's neck, which was a little sweaty. Seeing Tom, she rode over to the rail and pulled Shadow next to it. "Shad and i, i believe did our best time yet, and yes, i did warm her up before doing barrels." Will pulled Shadow away fron the rail, and slowly did the warm up, a walk, a trot, a slow lope, a meduim lope, a fast lope, a slow gallop, then, finally, a flying gallop. Will contcentated on Shadow's Movement, the way her legs flowed.
Shadow's legs pounded the dirt. She was flying. Shad tugged on the bit for more. But Shadow knew that Will wouldn't give her more. Finally, getting the signal to slow down, Shadow quickly slowed down to a walk, snorting to get the dust out. Going up to Tom, she sniffed him, sneezed on him, and finally, pushed him with her head (very gently, but hard enough to make him fall over).
Will dismounted and looked at Shadow in the face with an 'ok' expression on her face. "Shad, there are times where i don't know you!!" Will said, looking at her horse.
Shadow laughed a horsey laugh and pushed Will into the dirt next to Tom.
"Nice, Shad, nice!" Wil grinned as she got up and dusted herself off. Glancing at tom, she said; "i think Shad is acting up again, in other words, she's in eturs, or what ewver that word is... but i'm not ready to breed her yet. 0.o" Will stoked Shadow's head, then led Shadow around the ring to cool her off before the next training section.

Tom laughed and got up whipping the dust off his pants and shirt. Watching them go into the stable he followed after them.
Pancake laughed. "Learning new stuff!" She whinnied in reply.
Amy nodded. "Here goes nothing." Amy said pushing Pancake's side gently into Pancake's side and imidietly she picked up a collected walk. Amy pushed a little more, and sent Pancake forward into a trot, stopping at a few times.

((Yeah I can watch them, I just can't ride again 'til next week... cry ))
Vivian smiled and moved Ella into a collected canter and moved up next to Pancake and Amy.
Ella kept her strides very short and slow so she could stay in a canter while keeping beside Pancake while she trotted. This required more muscle control so she wouldn't move into long strides and get ahead of her.
Majestad chuckled. "Like what?" He whinnied back.

(((Sucks! All i think about is riding all week! Do you ride everyday usally?))
Tossing her head, Pancake stopped again, but with a soft nudged she went back to a collected trot, right next to Ella. "Collecting! It's amazing Majestad!" Pancake whinnied loudly.
Nudging Pancake again, she tried to see if the mare would go into a collected canter. She tossed her head but tried it, making Amy to smile. Pancake was cantering collecting.

After tacking Star she put on her helmet and gloves before mounting Star and waiting for Nic. The moment Lex was finished Nic smiled at her while finishing to tack Midnight up and following her.

((I know me too! But no,I only ride on Tuesdays...it sucks.))
Ella looked over at Pancake while she kept herself at a short-strided collected canter beside her. Her collection wasn't the best, she was very off, but she was getting there. "You need more weight in your rear. You look really off-balance and it keeps you balanced while you keep your front almost weightless." She said to her.
Vivian kept Ella short-strided before finally allowing her to extended her stride. She kept her collected her hands up and close to her stomach.

((I only ride on Sundays. I'm sooo sad....my best friend's dog just died...))
Pancake nodded and tried again. She leaned back and put some of her weight on her rear, almost like she was ready to rear. She slowed down, but with a nudge she got right back in track looking at Ella once in a while trying to do the same.
Amy began to laugh. "I thought Pancake was about to rear!" Amy said smiling. She looked at Vivian and pulled her hands closer to her stomach, making sure not to pull to hard on the bit.

((so sad...sorry about that *sniffles*)) Lex smiled at Nic before walking Star to the indoor arena and started to trot around the ring. Nic smiled back at her and walked after her before trotting in the ring and following Lex.
