The arrancar hissed with the appearance of the trees, but his twisted smile still remained on his face. "Shut up, foolish shinigami. Don't act like you're some all-knowing guru, because you're not. You are just murderers who hide behind this facade of protecting the weak and the innocent," murmured the arrancar while he stared at Ezru's back as he was walking away. Extending his hand towards him, he smirked. "And don't even think you've won just yet, fool."

The marks that was once gone from Ezru quickly etched themselves again into his body, starting from where the wound he got from shattering Vengeance, the arrancar's zanpakuto, spreading quickly until the marks were all over him again. Soon after, Revils' reido pierced the thick forest and hit the arrancar, blowing his entire left arm away. In the same manner, Ezru would also feel the pain the arrancar felt and be unable to move his left arm because the Death Pact which was once thought of to have been removed was apparently still in effect and was causing even greater damage to the already heavily wounded shinigami.

"Do you think...your trees will block...the extent of my vengeance? Fool...when I said Death Pact, I meant it literally, hahaha...," the arrancar laughed weakly while he continued to explain. "The Death Pact uses not reiatsu or reishi...but the user's very own life force. Once a Death Pact on a target has been established...it will remain on the target as long as the user lives. In effect...the Death Pact continually sucks away the user's life in order to keep the established bond active no matter what. In other words, think of this as a curse. Like it or not, we're both in this fatal bond together. My vengeance...surpasses all of your efforts to counter it. This hatred of mine, I'll take it with me...along with you as well, shinigami!"

Raising his claw high up into the air, he smiled. Every last bit of energy would go into this one, last act of pure hatred against those who destroyed his life. "From the very first time I set foot in this place, I knew I was going to die. In fact, I entered here all alone because I wanted to die. Fools like you can never understand what it means to find happiness, even in the midst of being hated, and then to have that happiness taken away from you just to fulfill an empty sense of duty. No, you can never understand since all of you are speaking from your side of the story, not ours! Try walking in our shoes for a change!" shouted the arrancar and fell silent after. Soon, insane laughter echoed throughout the forest yet again and the arrancar spoke. "But it's too late now. With this move, I shall end my painful existence and the existence of your comrade as well. Finally, I can say goodbye to this insane world of ours and even take one of your own with me! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"

With one swift movement of his claw, the arrancar pierced his heart, blood praying everywhere, dying the ground red. Then, as twisted as it was, the arrancar pulled out his own heart, still beating, and began to fill it with every bit of his reiatsu. He was making his own heart into a bomb and detonate it, killing himself, but would also kill Ezru in the process. "Vengeance...is...MINE!!!" With that, the arrancar crushed his own heart, and in effect, exploded as the trees around him caught fire, turning the once lush forest into a blazing inferno. Since the arrancar said that the Death Pact was like a curse, it would be logical to think that the only way to fight a curse was to eliminate it from the source. Since the wound Ezru received from destroying the arrancar's zanpaktou was the thing which served as a direct link for the Death Pact to work, it would mean that Ezru would have to cut his own hand off, or rather, would he have enough power or courage in him to actually pull it off? Would Ezru even realize that fact just in time or would it be too late and he, like in the arrancar's own words, would be taken along with him in death?

"As I said, I know more about life and the bonds that connect us all then you would think." Ezru said as he touched his own hand, the wounds seeming to cauterize, and then expand, his knuckles seeming to pop out of the hand itself, as metal began to fill the spaces, creating new-albeit imperfect knuckles. Ezru's face twisited in pain as his hand continued to deteriorate, bones popping out, muscles falling to the ground, and blood vaporizing almost instantly. Ezru's hand finally fell off, the cauterizing of the initial wound held as the burns continued, pulling off the afflicted hand.

"Evil... I need 4th Squad...." Ezru said as he slumped over "My hand is gone... But I'm alive..." Ezru said as he collapsed, his face hitting the ground hard.

Sho appears outside of Evil-San's office having shunpoed from 4th Squads area. He was there getting healed from his fight with Revlis-San when he picked up on Ezru's spirit pressure and plea for help. Sho runs into the office just as Ezru hits the floor face first. He runs to Ezru's side and checks for a pulse to see if the Shinigami is alive. Drawing his Zanpakutou Sho yells, "Ryu Bengo .... Dragon's Defense!" Ryu Kami becomes engulfed in red flames. Sho says, "Arancar ... you made a big mistake coming here! You mess with one of us and you have to deal with all of us!!" Sho jumps over Ezru and comes down slashing at the Arancar with his flaming Zanpakutou .....

Eh... So much for fun... Wasn't the least bit satisfying...

-= Pulling back down his right arm, panting softly, it was one of the few times Revlis had had to use or even used the Zaigou's power let alone the Reido... The burning sensation on his right arm bicept, the Zaigou emblem began to dim and fade as he pulled back from the Zaigou state. His black eyes reverted back to the crimson red they usually were. With his left arm he reached up to his head pulling off his steel plated headband and proceeded to wrap it around his right arm to conceal the Zaigou emblem.=-

"Captain Evil! What are your orders?! If one Arrancar can get in, surely more can get in!"

Rage flared in Evil.

Her eyes still black, she looked at Revlis and shouted loudly, her voice infused with Reitsu, echoing all over Squad 10;

"ALL SQUAD 10 MEMBERS REPORT TO THE TRAINING GROUNDS NOW!!"

"Revlis, you watch them until I get back."

Without another word, she shunpod to where Ezru had fallen, gently picked him up and Shunpod away to 4th Squad.

((Ummm ... I was attacking that guy .... so, void that attack I guess ... ))

Sho watches as Evil-San picks up Ezru and then he Shunpo's to the training grounds ....
