OoC://[In order to gain a seat, you must do one of three things; [In additions to Wolfesses, list!~]
a. Challenge and beat said seated member for their seat. [Works for Captains,/ vice Captains too.]
b. Prove your abilities in a plot, or around the Squad [Basically what wolfess said. ]
c. Some special or rare event, or tournament, that says you can win a seat. ]
You don't need shikkai, but it would definitely help. If your opponent has it, and you don't, they have a big advantage. [If your planning on challenging someone]

Kidou used his left thumb to push the guard of the blade. The blade slid free quite easily and he caught it with his right hand. She's probably thinking that I am insane enough to think that I can take on a 2nd seat, Thought Kidou angered by his own misuse in words, What my real intentions are are to train with extremely strong people so that my own strength will grow rapidly. But this is just a theory and a dumb one at that. He then jumped back a few feet and ran towards her and attempted to slice her with a quick and close attack. "Eh, could we talk later sir." He said, his full attention was on Amie.

Amie smiled as Minato made his way in. She waved his way, and exchanged a warm smile. "Hey, sparky!~" She stuck out her tongue, and flashed him a peace sign. "Well, you're looking at the new Vice Captain for squad 13" She exclaimed, while winking and turning her peace sign into a pointing thumb at herself. she then gave her attention to Kidou, and laughed when he talked about Shunpou.
"Sorry, Bunni. You got ways to go until you can learn shunpou!" she looked down at her leg, and chuckled ever still. Newbie was seriously underestimating her abilities, and over exaggerating his own.
"Alright, come at me. Lets see what ya' got." She stared at him with a curious eye. He seemed worried about her leg; that was the last thing he should be thinking about. (( gonk What the hell?! Speaking of Wensday Classes... I have to work this week so I won't be on till later on wensday... same goes for thurs and fri too.)) Minato looked at Amie's odd hand gestures... she was a little more hyper than usual... "Really? That's great! Good job! How long did it take you to get there?"He turned his attention to the noob of the squad.
"Hey if Amie bugs ya' too much, you could always go to the bar. There is usually someone always in there, and Robin basicly lives there... So! How did you do on the Exams? I myself did pretty good, but I definately could have done better..." He pondered the idea of what kind of difference a higher score could possibly do... not much he thought... the exam seemed a bit useless to him, as long as you passed you were in. "What's your strong point anyway? Or don't you know yet?"

Amie wondered what Kidou was thinking, how he was planning to come at her. she wanted to test his moves, and see what ha already knew about sword fighting. He had a decent stance, good form, and a sold hold. Not bad. But his move was incredibly basic, and lacked creativity. Did he honestly expect to do anything with that? He was asking for his opponent to wallop him. Amie would answer Sparky later, but now she had to give her attention to Bunni. It was only fair.
Amie put her weight onto the balls of her feet, and balanced on one foot. She twirled to the right and around of him, so she was behind him as the slash was going down. At the end of her twirl, she aimed to jab her elbow into his back. Not to hard, but enough to bruise and to throw him forward. "Your format is great, but try attacking me with something a little less obvious."

Now let's try something unorthodox. Kidou thought as he fell backwards purposefully. While he did this he spun his blade in his hand so that he would now be holding it in a reverse grip. He then stabbed it in the area under the armpit so he would not hurt himself but, if Amie did not move, would stab her. Amie's elbow hit his back a little harder then once thought but Kidou still pushed his sword backwards.

Amie smiled widely as she watched him work. What are we up to? It was incredibly surprising to see the blade come from his armpit. Her eyes widened for a second, before a grin stretched across her eyes. She jumped back as she saw the glint from his blade, to avoid being stabbed in the chest. "Now that's more like it! But I'm still behind you~ " Extremely creative, and what she liked to see.
Amie stepped forward and jumped, aiming to drop kick him in the back of the head. She wanted to see how he would react to immediate danger, so she gave a loud battle cry as she jumped. With the notification, she couldn't wait to see what happened. Amie considered her teaching, "tough love."

Kidou was surprised by Amie's attacks but that didn't mean he was completely dumbfounded by them. He pulled his right leg back to get leverage and then jumped into the air, his blade was still in his right hand and in a reverse grip but it was not under his armpit now, doing a back flip as he did as he got a glimpse of Amie he brought his left leg forward, threatening to, ironically, kick her in the face as she was once about to do.

Amie burst out laughing. This kid was great! She grabbed his foot as it almost implanted itself in her face. This would stop his momentum, but how he would react to this, she didn't know. However, if this was on anyone his own level, they'd be trying to get the shoe mark off their face for days! Amie's reflexes were faster then his, so it was only natural. But yet, she applauded his quick thinking. She brought in her leg from the kicking motion, and landed softly. She swung her arm up, the one holding his foot, and let go, so he'd be airborne.
"Going great, Bunni!~" She smiled. "Whats next?" Hopefully, not a case of whiplash.

Minato laughed at them, Amie must not be trying that hard... considering the noobie wasn't flat on his face by now. He knew she was fast, he was able to dodge her attacks himself, but barely. He had been one of the fastest in his group back in the Academy, and those days didn't seem as far away as they really were. He looked at the noobie, and saw he was having trouble... but he wanted to fight Amie himself, he didn't work on his strength so much, but he wanted to compare and improve his speed.
"Hey Noobie!" He shouted over their constant yelling and battle crys. "Need some help? Or tag team?" He hadn't trained in a while, and wanted to loosen up for tomarrows lesson, so he wouldn't get cought by a Bakudo from Eguchi again.

Being airborne hit Kidou in an odd way. For some reason he was laughing that he was thrown so easily but this quickly came to pass and he got serious again. Manipulating the reiatsu particles under his feet and doing a midair flip he was stopped by an invisible wall but, instead of slamming into it he landed upon it so that he was squatting in a way impossible for humans. He then pushed off at amazing speeds using his legs. He then put his left hand out in front of him. "Hado number 4: White Lightning!" He yelled as he was still speeding towards Amie. Lightning shoot from his hand and moved towards Amie at speeds faster then Kidou.

Walking out onto the training grounds, Hibiki saw the sparring up ahead and looked on with a bit of interest. Exchanging kicks it seemed, it wasn't so much swordsmanship, so he could take note at least. He was only really confident in his swordplay, not much else. As one of the fighters let off some kidou Hibiki put his hand to his hilt, the lightning reminding him too much of his zanpaktou.
