"No!" Katie almost screamed. She fought to control her voice, "I mean, um...sorry." She ran off into the forest by herself.

She had only been going a little ways when she bumed into something and was knocked to the ground. She looked up and noticed two big yellow eyes staring at her. She couldn't, or more like didn't want to, pull her eyes off the creature's face. She whispered something in parsletongue but apparently she said the wrong thing. The huge snake lunged at her and she dodged his jaws by inches. She rolled on the ground and it lunged again. Again, she just barely dodged his mouth. Where was that stupid wand? She dug around in her pockets, trying to find it. She spotted it on the ground a few feet away. She noticed the snake's tail coming down and got up just as it hit the ground where she had been laying. She ran and dove for her wand, but at the same time, the snake went for her. She gave a scream when the snake's jaws locked down on her arm just as she grabbed her wand. The snake let go of her arm and she looked up to see why. There, right behind the basilist was Blake, with his teeth dug into the great beast. Just as it lunged for Blake's head, she shouted a spell and the snake was instantly stunned. It's head fell to the ground with a loud thud. Katie told Blake to go find somewhere safe and began to walk off. She could already feel the venom beginning to take effect.

Alyssa glared after the girl when she just ran off. That was sort of rude. But then again, Alyssa was used to it. Turning her attention back to James she shrugged. "I guess.. I mean it was rude of her to say no like that, but then again, this forest can be dangerous when you're alone." The blonde muttered, looking back into the forest. It really could be dangerous, even with other people.

Lifaen, things will happen that you will not anticipate. Things happen. We just get stronger as we go through them. We are human. If you need more time, take it. I won't blame you. Hope things will get better soon.)

Mao was not happy. He was suppose to protect his Lady. Allowing her to be so near a dragon without his own acknowledgment was insulting to him. He was trained to sense things like this. He watched tensely as his Lady continue to converse with the dragon. He knew that the dragon wasn’t that old nor was it old enough to understand half of what Lady was saying but he can tell. The dragon was grateful to the Lady. She was the first human in who knows how long to come visit it. The dragon would not harm someone that it believes it can trust. After all, people would be pretty stupid to try and trick a fire, or acid in some cases, breathing lizard with claws that can rip you to shreds.

Leila was just talking to the dragon while lightly petting it’s head. She talked about many things. She talked about her family, friends, and school. She talked about how sorry she felt for leaving her new friends. She told it how badly she wants a friend that would not mind her off sense of protection. She was talking her throat dry when the dragon, who Leila has decided is a male, nudged her. She was slightly surprised when he did that. But then he opened his wings and she understood what he wanted. ”You want me to ride you, don’t you? You want to help me.” He nodded his giant head and Leila immediately when onto his back. It was kind of hard to grab hold but she felt someone behind her. It was Mao. He looked at her like she was crazy but then again; Leila has told him time after time, that she was slightly out of her mind. He held her waist gently and nodded his head to the dragon, who was staring at them both. The dragon took this as a sign to go and he spread his wings and up they flew.

Alyssa let out a small laugh. "I was too, last time I saw it.. I think it was an egg." Her feet trudged through the branches of the ground of the forest, looking for any signs of the girl. "Told you.... I was actually stupid enough once to travel in here alone. Almost died in the process. Then again, I was younger." She laughed at that memory, and then gasped when she saw the snake laying on the ground. "What the..." At that moment she felt something tugging on her cloke. Turning her head, she found a snake((it's a snake right? xD)). "What is it?" She whispered to it. Somehow it ended up in parsletongue. Since when had she learned that? She listened to the response and grabbed James arm. "The girls in trouble. We need to hurry." She muttered and followed the snake.

Katie heard someone's voice but couldn't answer. Everything around her was blurry. She felt someone putting something on her arm and it hurt. She tried to push it away but she was so weak it didn't really work.

"Snake..." Katie managed to mumble.
