Riley gave a look of mock annoyance.
"Thieves with no money or beggars? Excuse me, but I happen to live in one of the warehouses near the hill, and I'm not a beggar." he said with a grin, laughing afterwards.
"So, crashing here for the night?" he asked casually, leaning back with a wet, squishing sound. The sound came from the fact that his pants were still quite wet.
Riley stretched his legs up towards the fire, intending to dry off his pants.

Jessica looked at Ashe. "Hey, I have money." She said, pulling out a small bag filled with coins. She tossed it in the air and caught it, then stuck it back in her pocket. "It may not be a lot, but I still have some." She said as she began to wiggle her foot. She sighed. "My foot fell asleep...." She mumbled, trying to 'wake up' her foot, "I hate it when this happens!"

Anna shifted moving her bundle slightly away from the dog. It looked old and sickly. She was not a fan of dogs and found this one troublesome. "I Am not a thief or a beggar." she insisted. "I am merely a stable hand out of work." she smirked prod of her lie. She most defiantly looked the part, but the only thing that would give her away was her white porcelain skin. No worker would get threw one week with out collecting at least the tinniest tint of sun tan. She kicked off her shoes and tucked her feet under her body lotus style.

"Mmhmm...." Jessica said. " May I ask how long you're going to stick with that lie?" She asked her while she began to count her kunai and shuriken once again. "I mean, come on, no stable hand would have skin like yours." She said, still counting.

"She is right, that's quite a bad one." Riley said absently, flicking out his balisong so fast he was sure no one saw it.
He started cleaning under his nails with the tip of it before continuing.
"For example, I bought a room at a respectable inn for a couple coins, I'm sure if you're between jobs you would be able to pay for it. The Rotten Apple it was called, wasn't it?" he asked Jessica.

"I'm not lying." she insisted, and held her bundle even closer to her torso. "I am just smart enough to wear sun cream.” She had scrambled but found the perfect cover-up. "And I have the grand habit of gambling” She smirked knowing that she had landed it. There was nothing they could do to disprove her now. Well, almost nothing. She patted her bundle and rolled her shoulders stretching silently.

Riley laughed. "Gambling, huh?" he asked, reaching into his pocket while at the same time closing his balisong and putting it away.
With the same hand, he pulled out a simple coin. One side had a skull and cross bones, the other, a treasure chest.
"Ok then. Here's a challenge. I'll toss this coin, you guess the side. You win, I'll believe you, if not, then you will fully explain yourself, alright?" he asked casually, spinning the coin between his fingers, flipping it up once in a while then catching it.

"Just because Gambling is my habit does not mean I'm any good at It." she smirked that was why she could not afford a room. She loved to gamble but was not lucky very often. She sighed knowing the outcome already. "Heads." she said glumly and rolled her dull eyes slowly. "I'm not lying." she added determined to stick with her story.

Ashe shrugged her shoulders. "I'm a squatter, so I can't really say about living quarters." She then stretched out and shook her head. "Trying to stick to an obvious lie isn't going to help. I suggest next time try going for a maid or something."

The dog whined about when the girl shifted away from him, but he had gotten a good enough whiff of her to deem her a low threat. He made his way back to Ashe's side and nudged her arm for a pat.

[Alright...I hit the roll dice command but I don't know if it will work. Heads is even, tails is odds.]
----
Riley grinned, flipping the coin in the air.
"It always ends that way, that's what gambling is." he said simply, watching it spin.
"And Ashe is right, maid would work...well, actually, not really, because they usually end up living where ever their masters are living." he added, and the coin hit the ground with a muffled thump.
"And the verdict is..." he said, leaning forwards.

"I said I am not lying." She said and glanced down at the coin. To day must have been her lucky day. "See." she smiled triumphantly. "When I say something it is always true. So quit trying to make up another story for me. It's my life, and I'll tell it as I please." She stretched one arm behind her back and brushed her fingertips on the hilt of her dagger. She could get out of need be but their fire was warm and she did not know if what waited in the next warehouse over was more of a danger. "It's not like I'm scrutinizing you people over where you belong." she laughed loudly and Looked up at the man who had tossed the coin. "What's it matter anyway? I’m out of work and that’s all. I could be anything. So it’s best not to talk to strangers.”

"Well I'll be damned." Riley said, flicking the coin up with his toe, catching it in midair over his head.
"I rarely lose at this, but it appears I just did. Alright, you won, so you tell it as it is, for me at least." he said casually, putting it away.
"I guess you are right in any case, most thieves are never out of work." he added with a laugh, nodding to the statue they picked up earlier.
"As you can see, I for one aren't." Riley leaned back against the box.
He was feeling tired and nearly dozed off while he started into the flames.

Jessica stood up suddenly. "I'm going to go for a walk." She said, even though it was still raining. She turned and began to walk towards the door.
