"Oh...god...what the hell possesed me to come out here!?" Ryan said to himself walking through the blistering sun. He heard about this desert and disided to check it out. Fourtunly he did his home work, he came dressed acourdinly, a white cloth that was in layers so that air pockets were between them, he brought plenty of water too. But he had no reason to be out here.

Dove walked up to the edge of the desert and looked around. It seemed like any ordinary desert to her, nothing new or exciting, but she felt like she should see what its like from the inside so she walked into the desert. She didnt carry any bags or bottles or anything, she was onlyu wearing some strange clothing with runes all over it. She wore a loose long sleeve shirt that showed her belly but covered her neck, and her pants were of the same colorless fabric and they came down to her feet with small slippers on them, "Well here we go....."

Van had dthe feeling he was lost. There was nothing but sand for miles. He had hoped that he might find the elliged oasis, but no luck. He turned his head and looked at the raven perched on his shoulder, 'Do you see anything?' he asked it. It just cawed. Van sat down and reached into his pack, he still had 2 cantines of water, and enough bread and seeds for two maybee three days. He pulled of the cap on one of the cantines, and begain drinking it. Van then poured some into his open hand and offered it to the raven he had talked into coming with him. When it was finished, Van rubed his face, using the few drops the bird didn't drink to cool him down.

"Not again..." Be thought as a she lay face down in the sand. She had tripped again for the umpteenth time on small rocks upon the sand. "This would be easier if I could transform, but this heat would probably kill me." She got up silently and looked around, all around her was endless waving sand. She paused, somewhere in the back of her mind, a memory was flashing in her head. "NO!" Be knelt down hands on her head, her memory was hurting her. A blinding flash of light... She got up, her eyes red, looking at the sun, she dashed off in an eastward direction.

After hours of flying Shepard finally found a quiet place. He threw off his ragged cloak. He wasn't crying anymore. No his sadness had been replaced by rage. He was gonna show everyone that he didn't need love. he was gonna train like the old days. Till his body couldn't take anymore.

Sheoard once again found his way here. It was a nice training ground. He could test his limits here. But just as he was about to start he saw movment behind him. Mergex appeared smiling evilly. Shepard showed no fear expecting him to come. He lead Mergex away from the forest by letting go of some chaos energey. " You don't mask your presence well. Coming here will your death. There is no one to hold me back..." Shepard said looking over his shoulder. Mergex just stood there laughing.

Mergex formed a blackfire fire ball in hand while Shepard formed a blue fire ball. They both charged getting into a one handed grappling match which soon turned two handed. There aura's meet heating the sand benath them causing it to turn into diffrent colors. mergex was getting forced down. While he held alot of blackfire power Shepard had alot of physcial power and with both hands unuseable Mergex was trapped.
He smiled though kicking Shepard in the chin causing him to fall back. Shepard spit out blood looking at Mergex. He couldn't find him but turned around just in time to get kicked in the face. He fell back firing another ball of bluefire at Mergex but missing. " What was that-" Mergex said before he was cut off when the ball came back and hit him in the back. He fell forward but quickly got up. He raised his hand and fired a large blackfire ball in the air. It split into mini ones and fired all over the place.
Shepard stood his ground though. He put his hands togther and fired a wave of blue fire at Mergex. Mergex could not asborb this since it was to unstable and could kill him if he did. He was amazed that none of the balls hit Shepard and was hit by the wave smashing into a sand dune.
Shepard smiled as he quickly moved out of the way from stray balls of blackfire. Something suddenly grabbed his leg. " See my new move! stretchy limbs!" Mergex said coming out of the sand dune. Indeed his arm was full extended. He whipped Shepard around on the smashing him over and over till he let go.
Then he stood over Shepard and started punching him him wildly in the face. he laughed as every blow connected on the fallen Shepard. But Shepard drew his samurai sword and stabbed Mergex right threw the throat.

Mergex pulled the sword out dropping it. His wound healed and he looked at Shepard with rage. He extend his arm again to grab him but missed as Shepard jumped up pulling out his second sword and slicing off Mergex's arm. Mergex stumbled in pain as his arm gradually regrew.
Shepard wasen't going to give him a chance to recover though. He knee'd him in the chest and jumped up kicking Mergex in the chin and doing a backflip firing a ball of blue fire. Mergex got hit burning his chest.
Mergex screamed in rage charging at Shepard. As much as he tried he couldn't hit Shepard. " Your rage blinds you friend. You can't hit me if you have an unfoucused mind." Shepard said. Mergex growled as he jumped back and raised his hand in the air.
" Blackfire vanishing bell!" he said creating a large ball of blackfire. Shepard backed up as Mergex threw the ball causing it to explode in mid-air super-heating the ground destorying most of the ground and turning some of the sand into glass.
Mergex laughed as he saw no sign of Shepard " Killed by inceration? How fun." he said. Suddenly a bluefire ball passed him. Shepard stood there smiling. His clothes where not ragged and he was cut on his arms and face. Mergex spit on the ground growling.
" I thought Gordon would give me this time of challenge. Not you. I guess I have to show you something. It lasts only 5 minutes but you will be dead by then" Mergex said starting to gather evil energey.

Mergex started laughing as he grew slightly taller. His eyes rolled to the back of his head. They started glowing purple. He started laughing insanely as spikes ripped out of his back. His aura and his power increased alot.
Shepard stepped back. he readied himself to switch over to Jax but never got the chance. Mergex had gotten really fast. He slammed Shepard from the behind and grabbed his head and dragged his head in the ground. He chucked him send Shepard flying across the hot sand.
Then Mergex appeared behind him and kicked him all the way back again. This was all in one minute. Four more left to go...

4 minutes left...
Shepard found himself picked up by the head. He was cruelly chucked up into the air. He suddenly felt ripping pain in his back as mergex came up and slammed his knee into Shepards back. Then he slammed his fists into Shepards stomache causing him to fall back down to earth in a crash.
3 minutes left....
Shepard hit the ground struggling to move. Mergex stood infront of him. Shepard jumped back. " Phoniex fire! he said using every ounce of power in his body. Nothing, Mergex was unharmed. He open his hands and grabbed Shepard's head and kept banging his elbow over his head causing server head tramua but shepard still kept on trying to fight back..

2 minutes....
Shepard was on the ground blood pouring out of his mouth. Mergex smiled as he picked up Shepard. " It's been fun....now die" he said going to blow Shepards head off. Only he transformed back to his normal state. Shepard smiled through bloody teeth and took his chance attacking the weakned Mergex with punches and kicks.
Shepard kicked Mergex away and fell on the ground. Mergex jumped up as Shepard pushed himself up. Then it happened. Shepard felt the dagger in his stomach. He coughed up up blood. Mergex smiled but looked down in pain to see Shepard had almost hit his heart. Mergex fell back. he lost so much power it was hard to reform himself. He slowly lquidfied himself and ran off without a word but a look of shock on his face.
Shepard held his wound. " Its only a flesh wound." he said flying off weakly torwards the school.

Brent looked at his pak to make shere that he was not forgeting any thang be for is gerny to the far west.
