Firestone looked up at his riding companion and smiled weakly. "No my lady," he answered weakly. "I am not dead yet. It takes more than a tail swipe for Phoenix's tail spikes to kill me. We have fought before and healed each other. She does not heal me out of punishment. Punishment I rightly desrve." He bowed his head as Kokiou screamed. His bright eyes took in her lack of balance and smiled slightly. Humans!
Phoenix tipped her wings to soard up an updraft when she heard Kokiou's scream. She back-winged and floated over to Kokiou. She lloked down on her and assured herself of Kokiou's safety. She wished to land and stay by her friends to protect them and to watch Firestone. Phoenix flew lower and hovered over Koiou as she regained her balance and rode on. "Are you ok?" She called down to Kokiou.

Oblivious to the screams and other drama at the old camp, Sortai had been waiting for Teka. When he heard footsteps in the distance, he said loudly,"About time, Teka. I thought you'd never get here." With this he stood and began to look back in the direction he came from. As the footsteps came closer, he said with a tinge of regret."If you can hear me, Teka, do you think its better that we are leaving the others? That we stick to the original plan?". He seemed regretful to leave behind the only other survivor of the catastrophe he had met out of the village, as well as the others.

Meesha looked at the boy in front of her and giggled. “So there have been many family fights?” She giggled again. “Hey wait up Teka, Where are we? Never mind I know we’re in a forest.” Lamkit remarked sarcastically, and climbed up on Teka’s shoulder.
Meesha Looked back at the terrified Kokiou, and burst in to laughter. She couldn’t stop, Empi gained speed as did the Elk, and now they where bounding, running, and racing trough the thick growth of the forest. And they came to an abrupt stop, and the laughter stopped as well, complete silence.

Kokiou looked up with eyes as big as plates, and nodded. Koru clung to her pack, and as her looked you at the enormous dragon in fear. Suddenly Meesha laughed and the horse ran, fast, and after running for a little Empi stopped, almost flinging Kokiou off her.

Teka slowed down as he saw Sortai, and gave Lamkit an annoyed look, "You know, I don't like hitchhikers very much."

Meesha looked at Kokiou and Phoenix, “you still got your stomach? All right come on get off let me bandage your wounds.” Meesha helped the injured boy down, and took a bundle of fabric out of her pack, and rapped Fire star in the material. “Well sorry I just got tired and well you’re the closest moving thing…” Lamkit joked as he stared at Teka.

Phoenix looked at Koru and Kokiou with small amusement and greater hurt when she saw fear Koru's eyes. She put distance between her and Koru to ease her fear. As Meesha bound Firestone, Phoenix growled at Firestone, who looked up at her in fear. He apologized and stripped the bandage from himself. Phoenix wrapped her tail around his torso and lifted him away from the group. She set him to her side and loosened the bounds of her tail. She didn't want him to gain friends amoung outsiders of the Dragon Kingdoms. She growled a warning to him and shrank back from her.
Firestone laughed at Meesha's question. "Family fights?" He shook his head with laughter before answering. "We are Dragons madame! Fighting is what we do. Phoenix and I were uncommonly close growing up. Our parents didn't like it. They said it was strange for Dragons to have close companions. We are generally loners, except to mate once every two years. It is not uncommon for a Dragon not to see another Dragon except for mating season. Dragon court is full of conspirousy. It is not wonder Phoenix was banished before she abdicated." Firestone looked up at Phoenix is sudden fear as he spoke one of her great secrets. A secret he was sure she had not shared with these outsiders. "Do not tell her I told you that!" He turned to Meesha in total fear and apprehension. "She will have my head if she know I told you that. We Dragons are such a secretive people. It is against one of our greatest laws to tell anothers secret. Phoenix will burn me if she finds out I told one of her secrets. You must promise!" When Meesha wrapped him up and Phoenix growled a warning to him he obeyed. Technically he was her prisoner until such time as she send a messgae back to her Uncle Talon Tail. He was hers to command.

Meesha watched as Phoenix took Firestone away. “Well thank you for sharing that knowledge with me.” Meesha picked up her bag and got back on the elk which sat where it was left. “Phoenix where are the boys? I want to see them.” Trying not to act like she liked Teka or Sortai for she didn’t, Meesha touched the ground with her two longest fingers.

Phoenix looked at Meesha, who clearly forgave her for her treatment of Firestone, and smiled. She tested the air before answering. "They are not far off," she said, "far enough to distort the scent but not far enough to not recognize them. I can't call them." Phoenix looked at Firestone. "What?!"
Firstone looked away at Phoenix's biting tone. "You must make a desision," he said quietly. "You must return home and take your rightful place. You are Queen, you can never deny that." He took a step back from her as she growled a warning to him.

Teka walked up to Sortai, "Do you think...." Teka looked to his side and realized he left Frostbane at the camp, sleeping beside the fire. Teka put his palm to his head, "Dang it... Lamkit, I'm lazy, so do you think you could fetch Frostbane for me? I'll be sure to buy you something in return."

“Fine I guess I will, but you owe me!” Lamkit lazily jumped off the boy’s shoulder and bounded towards the camp. As he stepped in to the camp he heard growling “It’s ok I’m here Frostbane.” As he looked up he saw at least a half a dozen wild wolfs surrounding him and Frostbane was still a sleep. “Frostbane, ummmm Frostbane…, WAKE UP YOU LAZY EXUSE FOR A DOG!!!!!!” And the wolf stirred. Meesha was annoyed with the whole Royalty thing it was ok once but it was time to stop, she stepped to Firestone and quite hardly slapped him across the face. “She said NO!” and she walked away.

Firestone was stunned as Meesha walked away. He looked at Phoenix, who shrugged her shoulders. He was confussed.
Phoenix looked at Firestone and at the retreating back of Meesha. She was confussed.

(Sorry bout the long post wait. overwhelmed with other stuff.) As Sortai heard Lamkit leave Teka, he said aloud,"Good one. What will we do when he comes back with Frostbane, though? Surely if he found out he'd tell Meesha, and the others." St this moment, he looked up at the sky. He thought to himself, Father, I've done what you warned me of, what could be the most disasterous descision I've ever made, or the greatest. I've trusted a dragon. (Anyway, like the new avi? Cant tell you of the arm wound, thoguh it is from real life, so I decided to make my Avi suffer.

Teka showed Sortai a small stone with a symbol carved into it, "I may have lied a little bit, but Frostbane isn't really my companion. His name isn't even Frostbane for that manner. I received this a few years back, and I used it on that wolf as an act of loneliness. So, if I brake it, he'll just revert back to his old self." With that being said, Teka crushed the stone with his hand, and at that same instant Frostbane was no more. The wolf immediately ran into the forest, with no knowledge of what had happened. "Now then, shall we get going?"

[color surprised live] Sortai couldn't help but smile. Frostbane was now free. "Sure. I hope the others live well.". He said with finality as he turned to walk with Teka, leading Mesu by his reigns. Sortai didnt want to ruin more lives.
