Blinking suddenly, Cain looks around, and uppon unsuxessfully looking for animals he reaches into his soldier's pack and offers her his rations. "We'll be back at the camp in a few moments." he says, as they turn one of the last few corners. "Can this hold you over until we get there? or do you really want to stop... out here?" he looks around at the forest untrustingly, one arm still around her shoulders.

Ignoring the rations, she looked around. " Well...I don't really see the difference...Same forest, right? I'm still gonna need to hunt somewhere.", she said, a determined but cute look on her face. She closed her eyes, thinking of some way to hunt now. Of course, if Cain didn't trust it....The knight had been right before. She thought for a moment. Suddenly, she clapped her hands together, saying, " Ahah! I have an idea!" She pushed herself aways from him and climbed into the back of the carriage. She returned shortly with an ancient staff in her hands--it looked like it might break from her grip alone. " Okay--Make sure the carriage keeps going until you reach camp. William needs a better place to rest, anyways...." She stood up, wobbling just a bit from the unsteady road. Then, she jumped off the carriage and ran to the trees. Looking back, she called to Cain with a smile, " I'm going hunting--I'll find camp on my own, so don't worry! I promise to kill something big! Just keep going!" With that, she disappeared into the dark forest.

William hit his head against the wall of the carriage, thinking he was bound. He broke the door but could not bring himself to jump, he did not want to leave the group...His newfound comrades.

(( 3nodding know what>? i've been thinking--we should give our characters a reason for their existance--we should try steering them towards some plot of ultimate doom, or something. at least they might get more action that way smile ))

Cain almost immediatelly jumped off of the waggon after her, but her smile somewhat reasured him... he sat back down, knowing he had a cart full of people that needed to get back to their camp to rest. But he couldn't leave her alone out there...
He lead the waggon the rest of the way back to their camp, leaving it there so the others could get out whenever they needed to. Then he jumped out of the drivers seat himself. Looking threw the forest... he can't really seem to decide which way would be best to look for her. Then again, maybe he should just trust her words and wait for her?... maybe...

William lost his halberd and could not find anything to make another. He sat with a bloody bandage on one side with a full leg on the other.

Tavii tripped over a tree root and fell on her face. Standing up quickly, she blushed while dusting herself off. She continued to walk, slowly. ~Not a very good start for a hunting trip...Better pay better attention.~ Even as she found an animal to track(she thought is was a rabbit, but she still had her doubts), her thoughts were elsewhere. ~So then...The merchant is dead. I knew it...It was kinda scary watching it, though....I don't like watching other people die in my dreams. I wish my dreams were only dreams...~ After a long time of tracking, falling, and starting over, Tavii quietly snuck up behind a deer(again). Useing her staff, she thrusted it into the deer's head, knocking it over and killing it. Satisfied with her catch, she bent down, ready to take it back to camp. Only...She stood up. Looking around, she walked forward only a few feet when she came into a clearing. She froze. There, in the middle of sad looking trees, was the cabin from her dream. Even from this far away she could smell the stench of the merchant's blood. She walked forward very slowly.

After a few moments Cain gives up on trying to track, and simply moves off in the forest in the direction in which he believed she had gone. The forest was dense and full of trees... and it was very hard for him to move threw. But he made his way. It wasn't long before he fount a tree root that looked like it had been tugged a bit out of the ground, like someone tripped on it... he had to be going the right way.

((god, is her trail that obvious xp )) Tavii walked cautiously toward the cabin. The door was open. She clutched her staff as she entered. There, on the blood-covered floor, was the body of the merchant. She looked around, careful not to touch anything. Even though it looked like the scene of a murder(it was), she couldn't find any sign that the man in the cloak and the boy had been here.

((naw, i'm just lucky and determined as all hell =P))
Cain eventually reached a small clearing. There was a cabin in the center, and the smell of blood wat thick in the air... however, he had an odd feeling that he shouldn't go any farther. So for the time being he waited at the edge of the clearing, looking for a sign of Tavii.

((lol--ah, the return of Leon!!! blaugh )) Sensing the malice in the cabin growing, Tavii removed her shoes to show respect while the death spirits were still merciful. She moved about the room, taking in all of her surroundings as best she could. Finally, she moved to the body. As she got close, she stepped in puddles of blood, but she was not fazed. She bent down, gazing intently at the dark liquid. Suddenly, she noticed something she hadn't before--a message written in the merchants blood, adressed to the seven descendents. As she read it, her eyes widened. Scared, she ran out of the cabin, forgetting her shoes, and stood in the clearing staring at the ground, her body shaking slightly.

((woot!)) Cain jumps a bit in surprise as Tavii rushes back out of the cabin, her feet covered in a bit of blood. He instinctively runs out to her, before seeing how she was shaking. He hold out a hand, afraid how she will react if he gets too close. "Are you alright?" he asks, cautiously.
