Tess paused again and looked to Mal when he stopped. Nodding a little, he let out a short sigh. "I'm the only one who looks like this, so it won't be too hard to find me. Later." he watched Mal leave before staring at the ground as his stomach growled. Right... food. He hadn't eaten yet. Turning around, he trotted back to the cafeteria, only to find a lot of people gathered there. Lovely. He saw Sergey and gave him a bit of a glare before trotting to the line and getting his food. Apparently they were expecting for him not to have his card for food, as they soon made sure there was a plate of mostly-raw meat for him.

Standing up on his hind legs, Tess took the meat and also got a bottle of water. The water he could drink later, but for now... he carried it over to an unoccupied area of the room and set it on the floor, before dropping down and eating. It was a pain, but better then food bowls like dogs were given. And the food tasted better. Because of his legs, he could stand up like a person, but couldn't quite bend them the right way to sit down. Instead, he sat while he ate, giving people wary looks from where he was in the room.

Arkell sighed as she shuffled towards the cafeteria. She didn't really want anymore people encounters for the day, keeping her jitters and fire power contained was starting to wear her out. She opened the door wide enough to slip inside and quietly slipped inside ducking through people to get inline with a tray. She looked at all the food choices and frowned, not knowing what to pick. She went for the 'fresh' deli and got a sandwhich. She looked around for someplace to sit giving Sergey a scowl, when her eyes rounded on Tess. She would have given him a scowl, but he probably wouldn't have been able to see it as he was in the middle of eating uncooked meat like a dog would. She raised an eyebrow and blinked. When she realized she was staring her hair sparked up turning a pinkish color. She quickly looked away and went to an empty table by the window. She sat there and poked at her sandwich.

Sergey looked up as Tess came in and frowned throwing the glare right back at him. He followed him with his eyes and and blinked when he sat down on the floor and began to eat like a dog. He might LOOK like a dog, but even Sergey thought it rather demeaning for him to be eating on the floor like one. Then again...there legs were similar, and it was difficult to sit in chairs with them. He rolled his eyes and went back to his food and attention to Indigo.

Tess blinked when he looked up at one point in time and saw Arkell. Suddenly, he felt very foolish, and stopped eating. Staring at his food, he grimaced and sighed, growling under his breath a bit as he finished off the last bits. Getting up, he put his plate in the bin and opened his water bottle to guzzle it down. He wasn't a very pretty eater, and he wound up having to get a napkin to clean off his fur. He was in a bit of an ill mood when he finished, and loped by, on all fours, Sergey, bumping into his back intentionally.

"Oops... I didn't realize your a** was so big, Feather-butt." Tess growled, glaring up at Sergey, but with a wolfish grin on his face. "Maybe you should stop with the bird seed and go on a diet."

Sergey was about to take a bite out of his burger when Tess bumped into his back causing him to do a bit of face plant into his food. He growled removing the burger from his face. He turned and stood up glaring down at Tess "Maybe ze school pet should go back to eating hes scraps under ze table" His yellow eyes narrowed town at Tess as his voice curled up in a little bit of sneer. "Maybe nice gurl take pity on poor dog and take hem home someday."

Arkell looked up as she heard another commotion start. "Of course..." she muttered as she saw it was the same bird guy and dog boy that had been fighting before. She slammed her head on the table in front of her, causing her tray with the food to jump. She didn't want to deal with this right now, but if worse came to worse she'd set them both on fire. Then at least she wouldn't have to keep holding it in.

Tess growled deeply, standing up as well as Sergey stood. He seemed taken aback by the 'nice girl' bit, and then he growled again. "Who'd ever want a Fowl for a boyfriend? Any girl you go for'll probably have to hypnotize you to get ya to go away." he licked his chops a bit, waiting for a good fight. The bird-kid seemed like a decent guy, but he was most likely a lot more fun to fight with then to be friends with. Like friendship would ever happen.

"Lousy Pigeon wouldn't make a good boyfriend, anyways. He's probably the one who lays the eggs." Tess jumped a bit when he heard something thump one of the tables in the room, and his attention was distracted when he saw Arkell's head on her table.

Sergey's scowl deepened as Tess made a remark about the girl who had hypnotized him to get him to carry the boys body to the infirmary. "She vas not complaining vhen I accompanied her back to her room." he remarked with a rather lecherous grin. His fists clenched as he heard the 'b***h' comment come out of Tess's mouth. When his attention was distracted by a noise he cocked his arm back and punched Tess squarly across the face. "Shut up you fur ball!"

The sound of someone getting hit caused Arkell to raise her head and blink in confusion as to what was going on.

Tess blinked back to Sergey right as he felt a fist connect with his jaw. He gave a yelp and fell to the ground, before groaning and shifting to get up on all fours. His nose was bleeding, and he was hoping he hadn't bit his tongue. A guttural growl came from him and his fur stood up. A few people around them had shifted to watch, and there were murmurs of a fight wandering around. "What's wrong, chicky-poo? Get your feathers in a bunch?" he asked, grinning and licking his nose a bit to clean off some of the blood. It hurt a lot, which was further stimulating his want for a fight.

"Maybe I should help pluck them out!" Tess gave a loud bark and launched himself at Sergey.

"слабоумный!" Sergey watched as Tess lunged at him. His large bird foot lifted up into the air and came down into Tess's face slamming it down into the ground, though his force pushed him back a bit into the table. He kept standing though and removed his foot from the dogs head snarling down at him "Make 'nother bird joke, go 'head. See how good you look after I push muzzle of yours back into face!" He would have kept yelling at he not suddenly smelled something burning close to him.

Arkell stood up her entire body shaking as the tingling sensation began to over take her body and she burst into flames. She was yelling at the two of them to stop. "Just STOP IT! STOP FIGHTING!" She was staring at them as Tess's tail and Sergey's head feathers burst into flames. She would have cried, but the heat wouldn't allow it. She just couldn't stand sitting there and watching them like the other kids were doing, cheering them on. She turned on them "What the hell are you cheering for!? GO back to whatever you were doing!"

Candice searched around for her team members, she read the list to herself and repeated the names in her mind. "I can't wait to meet my team members." Candice sighed as she walked up to the vending machine and inserted some money. Her eyes wandered the different flavors before she punched in the code for her favorite juice. Candice removed the juice box and looked around.

Aya watched the grass as she walked around.
Maybe they're not coming....
She sighed. Her pessimist ways were getting to her again.
A sudden commotion reached her ears and she looked up. Her eyes widened at the sight of a fight between two students. A girl with flames for hair was trying to break up the fight without much success.
It's none of your business it's none of your business it's none of your-
She burst out into a sprint towards the two. She didn't want to be involved with any violence, but for once, she could use her powers for something good. She tried to push through the crowd.
"Hey, no front seats!" a boy yelled at her. By then, Aya started to become irritated. These idiots were actually enjoting this.
Screw being nice...
She grabbed the boy's arm, fueling her energy into him. The boy passed out at her feet in seconds. The students who saw this gladly moved out of her way.
Getting to the front, she looked towards the girl with fire hair.
"May I help?" she asked. She would at least be polite before she did anything.

Tess yelped again as a foot connected with his face, and he was knocked momentarily dizzy before the foot was removed, and he could lift his head. He would've opened his mouth to say something, wincing at the minor black eye he now had, when his nose turned up at the tinge of burning he could smell behind the blood clouding his nostrils. His eyes widened as he heard Arkell yelling at them to stop fighting.

Tess had only a moment before he was yelping heavily as his tail felt like it was on fire. When he glanced behind him, it was, and that was more of a cause for concern. He wasn't paying attention to anything around him, now, as he tried rolling over to try and put the fire out.
PostPosted: Mon Jun 09, 2008 10:26 pm

He saw the that Tess's tail was on fire, maybe that was what he smelled burning, that was until he felt the heat on his own head. He panicked and cried out patting at his feathers trying desperately to put out the fire. Sure it hurt his hands, but it was worth it. He forgot about Tess completely, his 'hair' being on fire more important to him.

Arkell was panting slightly. She jumped and spun around as Aya stepped up and asked to help. She shook her head and took a step away from the girl "D-don't g,g,get to close." She warned taking another step away from her. She didn't want to accidentally burn her. She turned around and stalked towards the two boys as she snuffed out the fire's on them. She glared at each of them in turn, "now stop fighting before I set the rest of your bodies on fire as well. Then you'll get the REAL term of being a 'hot' head." Sergey merely stared down at her before dumbly nodding as he continued to preen as his burned and singed feathers. Apparently his feathers were more important than fighting with the dog boy. She looked down Sternly at Tess, or at least tried to except that her face melted as her fire went out and her eyes teared up while her entire body began to shake, realizing that she had just intentionally hurt them. She couldn't take being angry for long, and she was always over emotional afterward. She gave a slight whimper and then ran out of the cafeteria.

Tess had suddenly felt the flames go out, and that was all that had mattered. He lay on the ground panting for a bit, his tail stinging. He knew a lot of the fur was burnt, and probably still smoking a bit. However, now his tail wasn't on fire, his attention could be distracted, and what eventually did was the sound of Arkell's whimper, and he hopped up to his feet, wincing as she ran out. "W-Wait!"

Tess ignored his pain enough to run after Arkell, not liking the whimper she'd given, and the unhappy tone she'd had. And why had she intervened? What if she'd gotten mixed up with the argument between he and Sergey and had gotten hurt? "Wait!" he shouted again, though it came out in more of a yelp then he'd liked.

Aya watched as they began to become preoccupied with the fire and relaxed. At least she wouldn't have to deal with..
"Hey! Some kid passed out!" a student screamed. Aya cringed.
Crap...there's still that....
She took a step backwards, trying to blend into the crowd. Seeing the fire girl begin to cry, Aya frowned sadly at her.
She was just trying to stop them...She didn't mean to..
She blinked at the ground. She knew what that was like. Taking one last look at the remaining fighter, she turned around and made her way out. She followed the girl and dog boy at a slow pace, keeping a good distance in case something happened.

Sergey watched it all as Arkell ran out, and Tess followed after her, and then another girl followed them. He looked back as the crowd began to shift to a boy who had passed out in the middle of the crowd. He snarled and began muttering in Russian again. He looked coldly over at Indigo and gave him a callous nod before grabbing his coat off the table and storming out of the cafeteria. He stormed all the way back towards his dorm, entering the building and walking by Marie's open door carrying on an angry conversation with himself about fights and stupid dog boys. He flung his door open and didn't close it behind him as he threw himself down on his bed and stared up at the ceiling.

Arkell sniffled, her run slowing down into a walk as she whirled around on Tess. "What!? What do you want? I'm sorry alright! I'm sorry I set your tail on fire! I didn't mean to hurt you....I'm sorry...." She looked at him while she spoke but as her sentence ended she hung her head and turned and began to walk away again. She hadn't noticed that Aya was following behind them at a distance, watching them.
