Roux smiled, lifting his parasol up to once more cast himself in shade. It was a small relief and he floated closer to the dark Frei. Roux extended on hand, letting his fingertips lightly trace from Rivener's brow to his cheek down to his chin, dropping from there. "Thank you." He leaned forward slightly, as though intending to tell Rivener a secret. "You're still delicious."
A soft chuckle and Roux was 'standing' straight again, letting his hand drop from Rivener's face. He gave a sidelong glance at the other Raeven, taking note that the feeling that had overcome him just moments before was now gone. "Missed you." He mentioned, honestly.
As Mouse approached the Roc seemed to lift into slightly higher spirits. Two people whose company he enjoyed very mouth, though for different reasons. He reached out to touch Mouse's cheek in a similar greeting, eyebrow quirking a little bit as she seemed to have met Rivener before. He glanced back and forth between the two, his expression remaining even as he floated closer to the Frei.
Chloe gave a shy flush, bringing her arms up to cross over her chest as he mentioned her looks. She'd fretted anxiously for hours over her choice of beach wear... it was a beach, though, and you had to wear some sort of bathing suite, right? In the end she'd opted for a blue two piece, wearing shorts over them. "A-Ah... Thank you." She reached up to timidly hug Aphismet around the neck before letting go and moving back over towards Isi. She sat beside him, patting the space beside her for Aphismet to sit down as well.
Chloe looked up as she heard Damien speak, following her gaze over toward Roux. "That's m-my Raeven... his name is Roux." She smiled softly, a sense of motherly pride in her voice. "Of course you c-can come with... b-but it shouldn't be too hard. I've n-n-never been to this beach, either, s-so I know my way around as m-much as you."

Josh could feel Ani’s every breath hitch through her back. He seemed to cringe right along with her. He had scrapes before and knew all too well the familiar pain accompanied with the frothing liquid he was applying to her flesh. Josh wiped away the last traces of sanguine grit from her body and threw the spoiled mess of cotton into a nearby trashcan. He peered on the counter at the medical supplies they had acquired.
He was shocked to find himself in a predicament. Should he wrap the girl up in gauze like a mummy or cover her in Band-Aids like a patchwork doll. Josh gingerly plucked the rather large package of bandages from the table and began unwrapping a few. Hopefully this method would grant the girl more movement and would be less likely to come off when she began to move again. He continued the conversation and he worked the bandages onto Ani’s skin, making sure they would stay in place until the event was over. “So what is his name?”

"Alright, enjoy yourself!" Kyou shouted to Mouse as she left. As the day progresses, the heat slowly crept onto Kyou. Though he is staying under some shades, he still couldn't escape the heat waves. Perhaps he could make himself some drinks to cool down a bit. Following the instructions on the book, he made himself a fruit salad daiquiri when there aren't anymore drink orders. Sitting down onto a stool behind the counter, he sipped on his drink happily as he look out to the people in the crowd. He spotted Roux under a parasol and wondered if he'll like some ice cold drinks in this probably scorching hot weather for him.
Laz noticed that Meli seemed to be a little afraid of him, so she does remember how he treated her back then? Now he felt a large pang of guilt hitting him. He need to say something, but he wasn't sure what. At this moment, he's no longer sipping on the drink, but focusing on what to say to Meli instead. "Y-yes, Meli." he replied a little hesitantly. "And I'm uh, sorry." Perhaps apologizing is a good way to start..?
"Games?" Meli just reminded her. "Oh yeah, I was going to sign up for the paintball war!"

[[BEACH BAR - SAND N STUFF ]]
Rivener couldn't stay mad when that perfectly graceful, cold finger traced along his face, calling his attention completely, bringing a sultry smile to Riv's lips, the kind of smile he hadn't worn in.... In a long time. And Roux's words were, surprisingly, very uplifting. If Roux still thought Rivener was "delicious", then-... Then maybe Riv's crime wasn't completely obvious to everyone?
Mouse's arrival was another strong hint of this, as she smiled at him and recalled him from the Halloween party so long ago... She couldn't see how horrible Riv was, either. It must be well hidden. Rivener felt immensely relieved at knowing that he could still talk to people without them recoiling in horror.
"Ahhh, I think-... You're Mitya's owner, right? I'm sorry, I forgot your name. I'm Rivener." Riv extended his hand, smiling as winningly as he could manage, lacking some of his usual self-confidence, keeping his wings tightly tucked in behind him, all the while floating a little closer to Roux without realizing.
Aphismet grinned at the hug, indulging for a moment and hugging her back with a slight blush. He followed her easily once she motioned to sit, smiling over at Isi and the other guest, who seemed to be a friend of Chloe's. A new friend, at that. These events were always such fun.
"Come with? Where are you guys going? And, uhm, hi! I'm Aphismet," Aphi announced with a friendly smile, offering his hand to Damien.

This time Eiry's attempt at scaring Lauma did give a few results. She gave a blink and stepped back, her eyes might of been a little wider too. Inside she had jumped a little, but outwardly hardly showed it. She actually thought the scream was a little too much and kinda silly. The green ghost did explain something though. The golden girl wasn't a ghost because her soul wasn't a ghost's, but what was the rest of them then? What was the part that wasn't the soul. She did not voice her question though, and simply stared at the raevan, tilting her head to the side a little bit.
Finally she said, "May I touch you?" She could tell when she was touching things that were not solid, she was curious as to whether the green one was solid. She would also have to test the golden one, so she added, "and you too?" addressing the golden one. Her curiosity burned inside but she remained an ice cube on the surface.
Jupiter was still worried about Lauma, as he glanced at her nervously. The green floating... raevan... seemed to simply playing with her and making faces though. The nice girls had been kind enough to help him and offered him information. It would be very rude not to accept the information. He didn't want to come off as ungrateful or anything. "Ah, thank you very much. I'll check out the bar now and uh, the sign up sheets," he said adding the sign-up sheets part because the girl who had told him about him looked generally like a quiet type and she had taken pains to point this out to him.
"But first I need to set all my stuff down somewhere where it's not blocking the stairs I fell down for other people..." Despite the fact that his large amount of stuff was what had caused this whole mess in the first place, Jupiter dutifully picked up all the bags, the towels, the umbrella and the beach ball and set out across the soft sand. He actually took the chance to set the stuff down where Lauma was occupied, and then take a path to the bar so he could pass by her and give a hard look at whether she was in danger or not. She didn't seem to be...
Still, as he sat down at the bar, Jupiter couldn't help but give several cautious glances back at Lauma before turning his attention to the bar. There had been some sort of commotion but Jupiter ignored it. "Uhhh- is there a Dr. Kyou here?" he asked tentatively, and probably not loud enough to really be heard with the ruckus.

"Durem?" He was amazed and a bit jealous for some reason. "They must be well off people, huh?"
Now that he realized it, Ebony had an attractive physique. He somehow knew that she would fare well in the limbo. With a body like that, he was quite positive of it too.
Although he hadn't been staring too long, he averted his gaze quickly to the buffet where food was abound. Aden, was not able to escape from giving a slight flush of pink in his cheeks as he turned his back on Ebony.
"I guess I'm going to eat." he spoke without faltering despite his current state. "The food looks really good."
Taking a step, he had forgotten he wanted to sign-up for any events on the clipboard Ebony was holding...
Ahhh! I'll do it later...

Aki watched Lucia pout, and sipped her correct drink for a moment as she pondered. "Well then. Either way, it's your business. Sorry for misunderstanding, though!" Smiling slowly, Aki nodded to the seat at the bar. "Can I buy you a snack? I'm about due for one myself!"
Her tone was warm, despite the dismay of the black cat Raevan. She really did like the Frei!

A wave of relief swept over her as she no longer felt the moist cotton running down her back casting pain all along it. Wind was beginning to pick up into a soft, cool breeze, and it did its job of quickly drying off any remaining disinfecting liquid that trailed along her skin. She, too, was concerned of how she was to be bandaged and watched Josh's hands carefully as he chose what to pick out. That would probably be the better option, though she had never actually had bandages of those kind applied before. She had heard that they were meant to be tight, and a bit cumbersome to move around in as fluidly as one normally would, but that would be alright as she wasn't much for activity as it was.
"Tango."
Unique name for a dog, eh? She briefly recalled the events of how they had acquired him, as a five month old pup from a dog rescue. Originally he had gone through several different names including 'Scooby' and 'Codiac', but none of them seemed to suit him nearly as much as Tango. He was smart, he was fast, and occasionally he could make motions and noises that Ani had never witnessed a dog make before, just adding to the wolfhond's originality. "We've had him for a while..." Still 'we' despite her moving out. It seemed odd even to peg him as such, he was a part of the family. Her brother, if it wasn't too presumptuous of her to say.
With all the talk of him, Tango seemed to sit himself up a bit straighter and refrained from panting, looking off into the distance as if to appear as some sort of regal being. Ani picked the foot up nearest him and fluffed up some fur on his chest, and he immediately resumed looking at the both of them and panting away. She couldn't help but laugh whenever he looked at her while doing that, he looked like he had such a big goofy grin on his face.

"Hmm yes?" Kyou responded as he heard someone called his name. Placing down his drink carefully he turned his head to the direction of the voice. Although said voice is somewhat soft and drowned out with the chatter, Kyou had very good hearing. It seem to come from a tall young man. "Can I help you? Do you want a drink? The fruit salad daiquiri is very delicious, I was just having one myself!" he recommended as he stood up from his stool, motioning at the half empty cup he was sipping on. Assuming that the young lad wanted to order a drink.

Roux's hands were cold.
Mouse shivered and cringed a little at the unexpected touch. That didn't mean she found it unpleasant, it just caught her off-guard a little bit. With an eye-crinkled smile and shoulder hunched forward, she replied, "Hey Roux. Sorry I didn't bring Mitya." She assumed he might be wondering where her chimera was, and hopefully he wouldn't be too disappointed knowing Fredmitri was sleeping at home. There was just a little too much risk taking him out into such an open space where he couldn't be carefully watched.
"Name's Mouse. Nice to meet you... again." It was easy to superimpose an image of that Don Juan costume he had worn onto that smile. She was pretty much completely oblivious to Rivener's lackluster cheerfulness as she continued, "I should force you to introduce yourself to my Raevan, but I have no idea where she is right now."
Eiry's ability to shift his form so easily was something that intrigued the eagle girl sitting on the air beside him. All of those angry facial expressions... and yet he was still so cheerful! "You don't match your feelings," she said in observation, equally high amounts of confused and curious. The fact that the prankster ghost wasn't showing his emotions properly was a mystery to her.
"You want to touch?" Her eagle eyes turned to the human, wondering why she felt the need to bother asking. 'Personal space' was a concept that seemed to elude her and as such she wordlessly held out a long, downy lock of hair as if it were a rope she was handing out.

"Uh, yes," Jupiter said, "Err, someone said you knew about the floating.. raevans was it? I-I don't mean to be rude or anything, it's just that my little sister... and they look kind of like ghosts and she doesn't.. do well with ghosts. I just want to know if it's okay and... what they are." Jupiter said not enunciating his thoughts and questions very well. For a second his mind whirred about how to be polite. The posters that were up all around said this was a fund raiser, he should help raise funds. "Ah, yes I'll have," he paused a second, "The fruit salad daiquiri, oh, and the sign up sheet for events? I'd like to participate." Jupiter fidgeted a little, but kept eye contact with the doctor.
Lauma reached out and petted the long lock of hair. It was so soft and downy, it made her do something unexpected. It made her smile. "You are definitely not a ghost," she said. The smile faded back to her usual expression. "Your hair is nice. Is his as nice as yours? Lauma asked. She had decided that if these were somehow ghosts in disguise, then they were friendly. She turned expectantly towards the minty one but didn't touch. Her brother had taught her how to be polite.

Lucia smiled. "No thank you, Aki." She looked around the bar and her eyes fell on the other raevan, her interest peaking with the ones she hadn't met. "Thanks for the drink and it was nice to meet you. I'll see you at the limbo contest, but I really want to meet everyone." Her eyes smiled at Aki again.
She floated up to the sign up sheet for the paintball and limbo and wrote her name down. She wasn't sure if she wanted to do anything else and she could always sign up for something else later.
Lucia floated towards Yuurei after waving at Aki. Yuurei who had been watching her young Frei interact with the other raevan guardian grinned at Lucia. "Having fun?" Lucia looked deadpan at her guardian and nodded slightly before turning away and looking around.
Yuurei glanced around. Her eyes stopped on a pretty black and red raevan . . . talking to Roux. Well, she thought, if he's friends with Roux than there's no helping him. She sighed quietly. That raevan was dark . . . like her.

"I'll see you at the contest, Lucia!" Aki waved back, and watched the Frei drift away. She'd liked all the Raevan's Melisande had met today, and she cast a glance toward the distant Sigel out by the waves. Everything was peaceful, for now at least!

Josh finished applying the bandages and gave Ani’s shoulder a gentle pat as if to show that the process was over. “You did a great job! I have to say that you have been a wonderful patient. One of my best...” Josh grinned broadly and chuckled at his own joke. He sat up from his seat with a drawn out stretch. He made sure to flex his lean muscles and lanky appendages as he did. He tried to work out any kinks created from sitting around for so long. The boy sighed contently as he heard a few pops and creaks, signaling that his extending was fruitful.
Josh reached down giving the regal form of Tango a few affectionate pets and pats until he was reduced to a pile of slobbering and wagging mush. The boy greedily brushed his hand along the dog’s chest. “I can tell you take care of him very well,” Josh paused rubbing small circles along his back, “He is such a handsome boy.” He chimed the compliment at the Tango hoping he would pick up on the positive implications.
Josh looked up to Ani and shot a question at her briskly, “So are you going to sign up for any events with you back like that?”

Ani let out a small laugh as she straightened up, mimicking Josh in his stretching, but she was more timid about it and staring down at the bandages all the while. Testing their flexibility. Yes, she was quite hindered in sharp movements, and anything too far from a normal stance would get painful with their tightness, but at least she could trust them staying on. Sadly, this meant no going into the water above her waist, but that was alright. She didn't much intend on swimming in the ocean, anyway, and getting sand up her shorts.
The dog himself had rolled over onto his side with all of the love Josh was offering him, and the comment caused him to turn his head and stare at the boy for a few moments, as if inspecting him, before rolling right over onto his back and letting out a low groan. It was obvious what Tango wanted: Belly Rubs!
No, laughing couldn't be helped. This dog was just too much.
She thanked him for the first-aid as she gathered up the items, returning them to their respective slots in the kit, but paused in this action as he posed a question she hadn't even thought about the answer to: "I haven't seen what's there, yet... nothing involving activity, apparently," she glanced down at her bandages, giving her abdomen a light pat with the palm of her hand, "Is there a sheet or.. something?"
