Besuliik Deakin

As he left the room, he came to a halt and went back. He couldn't leave without a blaster. Deakin tucked it in his holster on his right thigh. Seeing Jag, Deakin slowed down and buckled his jacket. "Sir," Deakin said saluting. "I've got a speeder bike outside the port. Permission to bring it aboard? Cargo deck, somewhere."

Gairus took the blaster from his shoulder rig and began twirling it in his fingers. He had a few minutes before Kalin needed him.

Feeling the cold shoulder, Xan decided to get to work assessing his losses for the day. He had lost a good sabaac card, a microdetonator, and quite a bit of money having to front.... Come to think of it, he didn't even know her name.

"I'll 'aveta find tat out lata," he said, taking off his gloves to reveal the pair of quick-draw mechanisms for his hold-out blasters, as well as his devices to cheat with. Every major card he'd need was in the launcher, and he'd have to reset it when they got back in port. His coat dropped to the floor, revealing a series of razor-edged steel cards, diguised just like his own deck. Didn't have to use them today, but someday.

Gizmos, gadgets, and small bags of credits came out of hidden pockets all over his body. If he wasn't the best shot in Ord Mandrell, he had the most hidden weapons in all of Whorlport. He kicked back, as he oiled and retuned his launchers and began to work on his shuffling technique. He kicked back, tightening a screw, as he thought back on the last four years of his life. He'd met Jag several times before, and wanted to think of him as a friend. A busy friend, but a friend none-the-less.

Kalin checked his chrono and had five minutes before he was going to have his 'meeting' with Blikk and the new guy, Deakin.

Yeah, I can give you two the grand tour. Follow me upstairs, we'll go from top to bottom.

He walked into the turbolift and waited for Zar and Niomie to get in with him.

Gairus stood up and left his bunk. He walked to the turbo lift and made his way to the cargo bay to meet Daco. He finally reached it after a few quick strides, and stood waiting for Kalin and Deakin.

(K-Blade, I'm going to puppet you just a bit)

Slipping into the turbolift with Niomie in tow, Kaleb stood next to Kalin. He crossed his arms as he leaned against the back of the turbolift, considering the uniform pants the big man wore.
"So whats a CorSec agent doing working on a free-merchant ship?"
He asked in a low tone, not exactly inquiring, but just a question for small talk.

Kalin made no laughter audible, but grinned to himself and remained facing forward as he ordered the lift up one level.

Ex-CorSec. Retired. I suppose your CorSec yourself, seeing as how you recognize my pants. So I pose the same question.

The door beeped and opened and Kalin lead the duo out into the Command Deck.

Alright, straight ahead is the Bridge. You'll be needed to familiarize yourself with it on your own time. To your left is the Weapons station and to the right is the Main Sensor/Comm room. The door right next to the SensComm room is just a closet. Now these two are important. This door right next to the Weapons station is Jag's office. You're allowed in at certain times. Now the room at the rear of the deck is Jag's room. You go in there and you're dead. Simply put.

Nodding as he pointed things out, Kaleb stepped back inside of the turbolift. Once Kalin was in he spoke."No, Corellian Military, but CorSec helped train me. They gave me my stripes and I worked with the Pirate Hunters for a time." As the turbolift moved down with the three, he posed another question."Is Captain Jag always that on edge?"

Gairus stood, back against the wall waiting for Daco. He began humming to himself.

Niomie followed Kalin and Kaleb into the lift and was content to simply nod her head letting the two Corellians dominate the conversation, as Kalin took them on a short tour of the ship, pointing out the various areas, there functions and any rules that went along with them.

((I'm just speeding this up))

The lift shot past the Crew deck, which they were already accustomed to and took them right to the main deck. He showed them all the rooms and introduced them to the purposes of each. With a witty comment, they were back in the turbolift and on their way to the cargo bay. He turned to look at Niomie.

And what is a pretty little girl like you doing with Corellian Military? Please tell me you aren't his daughter or worse, his girlfriend? Haha! Im just pulling your leg.
PostPosted: Tue May 27, 2008 2:14 pm

“Um, no.” She looked up at Kalin. “I’m not his daughter and I’m defiantly not his girlfriend.” She said, crossing her arms over her chest. “Why is everyone asking that? I mean first the captain and now you.”

Well, you have to understand. You're a very attractive young lady. You don't look tough and your not armed, so you cant be a bodyguard or a bounty hunter or anything of that sort. So I assume you're his significant other. Hell, If I was any younger, i'd snatch you up myself! Hahah!

The turbolift came to a halt and Kalin led them out into the Cargo Bay. He took them around the bay and showed them the droids and the different sections of the cargobay.

Alright. Any questions?

Niomie felt her face heat up as she blushed. “Why that’s so sweet of you to say that, thank you, but,” She turned just a bit, enough for him to see the DL-18 resting in its holster. “I’m not unarmed. I guess that the pleats of my skirt hid it.” She smiled, following him out of the lift and around the cargo bay.
“No, no questions as of yet.” She replied shaking her head.
