Demeter looked up and noticed the thunderstorm. Apparently it seems it might rain. She climbed on to Epona, her horse, and rode off.

Not far from the docks, Gerin was lounging beneath the waves, enjoying the disturbed flows caused by a thunderstorm high above the surface. So as not to disturb the ships above, he remained far below near the continental shelf bed gazing up at the hulls and dock platforms above. Hearing what sounded like a loud dragon cry coming from not to far above the surface. His head perked up as panicked fish around him scattered once from the noise then again from the beast shifting so abruptly.

Finding a low slope away from the docks to climb up was simple enough. Gerin peeked his head above water just enough so that his eyes and the top of his head peeked above surface. Except for a single fisherman whe was certain to be able to clear, the area was open. Giving a powerful thrust of his long tail, Gerin threw himself from the waves to the shoreline sailing clean over the fisherman as he had anticipated, giving the fisherman a good startle and drenching him with sea water as he toppled over.

Giving his legs a good stretch, Gerin dragged himself up the beach beside the fish market taking a brief pause to snap up a giant tuna that was being sold. As payment he left behind a large scale he had recently shed before storming off toward the source of the noise.

Taking cover from the rain, Ciel hid in an alley using an overhang to shield her from the torrent. Through the puddle ridden ground she felt a faint tremor, a series of them as if something massive was moving across the land. She was briefly torn between answering her curiosity and keeping dry. She had managed the latter since the storm that rolled in was very obvious regardless of how sudden. It didn't seem like it was to clear up soon though. Taking a deep breath of the moist air, Ciel sighed and took a step out from underneath the overhang. She was quickly moving from wet to drenched as she followed the strange feeling in the ground through the streets toward the edge of the market.

Kujaku entered the marketplace, strolling quite casually down the street. He paid little mind to the little people around him as they cleared out and gave him a wide breadth as soon as they would see him approach. Kujaku couldn't help but smirk as the day was already getting better. As he reached the docks and the fishery, he stopped to take in the seaside atmosphere as he waited for Hrothgar to give some directions or take the lead.

After finishing her meal at the inn, Demeter returned to the marketplace, looking for a particular shop she'd missed before. As she hummed while walking past the florist shops, the plants grew a bit more, and budding flowers bloomed quickly.

"Now, where is that weapons shop?" The elf asked, leading her horse Epona by the reins. "Better yet, where's Persephone? I told that girl to meet me here." She sighed, "Oh well, I she's a big girl. I guess I'll catch up with her soon."

On her way, she passed by the docks. "Hm, maybe I should rest there one day. Actually, maybe I should go fish! Haven't had that in a while!" A whinny wah heard.

"Oh, I'm sorry, my dear Epona! I'm talking to myself again, aren't I? Well, c'mon, let's go! We need to get mommy a new bow and arrow set!"

Hrothgar followed casually after Kujaku toward the docks paying little attention to the reaction of the people around him. he knew he made people outside of the midlands uncomfortable, as did Obsidion. Since the guards weren't going to fuss over it, he had little reason to care. Since Kujaku stopped, Hrothgar pointed and marched a few steps down the fishery streets to a small stand with a stout man who had group of fishermen eating at the bar table.

Approaching the table, Hrothgar stooped down and held up a signal for two, "Extra large," he said before standing back up and checking to make sure Kujaku was hanging around still. He placed a few large gold coins on the counter and took the punch bowl sized bowls of gumbo, handing one to Kujaku then heading over to the rocky sea wall nearby to take a seat.

Kujaku took his bowl of gumbo with a nod of thanks before taking a seat on the top of the sea wall. He took a deep whiff of the vapors of the soup before he lifted the spoon, "So they accommodating for portion but not for seating?", he asked before giving a brief shrug. Can't win em all, he figured.

After a few bites He started to think to himself. After all that had happened, the earth nation was still in shambles, and the rotten human who caused all of it had gotten away. It didn't stymie his appetite, but he couldn't help but wonder if perhaps someone was fixing to deliver the finishing blow soon.

Hrothgar tilted his head in response to Kujaku's comment, "Well you know, the little people don't really like us. We're terrible monsters to them." he pointed back toward the chef at the seafood stand he had just ordered from with his thumb. "That guy is one of the few business owners who's less discriminate about their customers." Before he continued eating, Hrothgar looked up at the sky briefly.

Toward the center of town, Kel entered the merchant quarter, marching fairly briskly through the streets as he headed through, passing the various outfitter shops and store fronts on his way to the food district.

To Finish his food, Kujaku guzzled the remains and placed the bowl on the ledge beside him, taking a moment to chew and swallow the rest of his soup. he took a brief glance at the dreary skies then toward Hrothgar. "Where we stay? Is there inn what which let giants stay?"

As he stood up, he took his axe from over his shoulder and brandished it, waving it about and growling to scare off some onlookers who approached a bit too closely. Shooing away the human rats was mildly entertaining but could get annoying fast in such a large city.

"Nope," Hrothgar shook his head, "We'll have to go back to the castle to the earth tower there." Once finished with his food, Hrothgar set the bowl down and stood up. He took a brief moment to pop his shoulders and neck, then stretch. "Well, may as well head up there now. before the clouds rolled in it was getting late." He took a brief turn to the street and started taking it back toward the castle. Obsidion stood up causing the few seagulls that had chose it as a spot to perch to panic as the rock beneath them rose and began to move. Quietly, it began to follow Hrothgar up the street.

Putting away his axe, Kujaku turned and quietly lurched after Hrothgar and Obsidion leaving little incident save for the few people he scared away. He felt much better now that his hunger was gone, but didn't really like the looming clouds overhead.

Menos entered the merchant quarter, moving quickly toward the artisans area. He was able to keep a good pace moving by as it seemed nobody would recognize him, yet. This day where he could enjoy such a quick passage through the area without heavy security would likely be the last of its kind.

Okay, now where is that shop? Demeter thought to herself as she pulled her horse along. "My, this is such a huge place! Perhaps I should ask around...but at the same time, I don't want to look stupid..." the elf looked down for a moment when Epona whinnied. "Oh hush! You wouldn't know, now would you?"

Just then, a few children were playing near by, and decided to splash water on Demeter. "Why you!" she seethed, soaking wet. The little pranksters laughed at her, then ran of.

"I swear, I HATE children!" she shouted at the top of her lungs, not caring if anyone heard. Just then, as if not to let the woman have any mercy, one of the kids came back sneaking behind Epona and sticking the horse's rear with a pin. She made a loud whinny and started dashing off down the street.

"Hey, wait, Epona!" The elf shouted back to her, and began her persuit of the equine. "Watch out! Runaway horse!" she warned to get people out of the way.

Vasyly entered the town after a long bath in the waters outside the town, his hair still dripping wet. He began to look around for new daggers, disappointed by how weak his old ones seemed in his last fight. Distracted by the shiny objects lining the stalls, he didn't notice the horse coming his way until it was too late. The horse nearly trampled Vasyly, who grabbed onto the horses legs for dear life as it dragged him. Panicking, he covered the horse's leg in ice.

As Demeter sped down the road, almost knocking down people who hadn't already dispersed out of fear of the frenzied horse.

Why does it ALWAYS have to be me?! she thought. Just then, the elf stopped, seeing a poor man being dragged by Epona, who finally stopped the beast with ice. Oh man, I hope he doessn't plan on suing me or anything like that.

She slowed her pace down to a walk and looked between the man and her now shivering horse. "I'm so sorry for all the trouble she's caused." Demeter apologized with a curtsy and a sigh. "But thank you very much for stopping her in time before she ruined anything else." She knelt down. "Are you alright, sir?" Demeter asked as she held out a hand. "Wait a minute-you're just a kid!" What is it with me and kids today?!...Aw crap this is someone's kid! I hope mom or dad doesn't show up, or else I'll have some explaining to do!

Vasyly growled a little at the kid comment, and patted the horse. The ice splintered and fell off of the horse, melting quickly into the ground. "You're lucky I like animals. It only bugs me when people look like animals. You're lucky as well that you're so pretty." He smiled at Demeter and offered her a handshake. "My name's Vasyly, and I'm probably older than you." He said. "What's your name?"
