Kyle_Rayner And whats with Wally having the costume in a ring? It's a nod to Barry, who kept his costume inside a gold ring.

Diana Prince Kyle_Rayner And whats with Wally having the costume in a ring? It's a nod to Barry, who kept his costume inside a gold ring. I know Barry kept his costume in a ring. xd But that was Barry. This is Wally. First they have Wally in Barry's costume in Identity Crisis, now this, and all when theyre about to sully the Flash legacy. Thats terrible. Wally is not Kid Flash anymore, he's his own man now. He was making his costume from Speed Force, thats his thing, not the ring trick.

Hey, I know what it's like to have your book cancelled. Only to have a new title start with your supposedly-dead predecessor. Where does that put you? Brushed off to the side as a bit character! scream No, I'm not bitter..... stressed

What is DC doing to us?!?! crying
Im hoping that AOL/Time Warner is to blame for the recent run of suck. I keep wishing for the day when Warner sells DC to...um...themselves. Then maybe a GOOD DC movie will get made. And our heroes will get fixed.

Some blame goes to the fans too. There are whole websites dedicated to nothing but Hal Jordan and bringing him back. DC finally gave in. In my opinion, Parallax was the best thing that ever happen to him. He seemed to be the least interesting out of all the Lanterns until then.
We'll just have to wait and see how things go.

I hope they spend the next 10 years whining about how DC ruins Hal after he comes back, and DC is forced to reinstate Kyle. And now for something completely different. Since I cant edit the first post: NEWS! eek http://www.millarworld.net/index.ph...=0e;ntry806022 (link is dead, crap) Quote: You remember I told you to relax about Superman? That a very, very trusted and experienced director we'd all love was coming over? That McG was just a blip? That everything would be fine? Well, my same good buddy has informed me that, as of last Thursday night, Mister Jim Caviezel is officially the new man of steel and what a perfect choice he is. Expect an announcement shortly. Also, this Superman Returns thing was just for the press release. The movie itself is called SUPERMAN (Reeve's was called SUPERMAN THE MOVIE) and it's starting everything from scratch. Brainiac. Krypton. Robots. Alien super-cities. There's so much we can do now that they couldn't in 78. I cannot WAIT for this. Slipping into cryogenics chamber and wish to be woken in July 04. MM I think he means "July 05" or 06. Im not sure on that. Oh, and unconfirmed sources paraphase Jeff Loeb as saying that Tom Welling as Superman will never happen, and he is in fact not appearing in "Batman Begins" as Clark either.

Jack_Hart So it's official then? Jesus is Superman? This is as official as we get until there is an official announcement I guess. It sounds on par for Warner though. I take back the earlier snide remark about the lag. I just read in the Announcements forum somewhere that the Olympics added 830,000 posts instantly to the server's hard drives, and Lanzer had to delete and archive his a** off to keep the site alive. Now he's having to restore all those posts, threads, and stickies. I genuinely feel sorry for the man this time. That was his entire weekend down the drain right there. Sometimes when things like this happen, I wish I could help him out, being a computer science major and all, but I seriously doubt they would ever enlist my aid. Oh well, here's to you, Gaia staff. heart

Great Krypton! *gasp!* I can't read any new posts! This must be...some sort of trick by Lex Luthor, or maybe the evil Kanrdorian scientist, Lesla Lar! It will take some sort of Super-Feat to undo this insidious lag and restore Gaia back to it's rightful state!
What would cousin Superoman do?!!! Must...think!
