Demetry easily eliminates Imp 4, as Fury unleashes his Fury upon Imp 3, Imp 5, and Imp 6, killing them all. Djanni slaughters Imp 2 and Kobold 3 with her powerful Attack and Shadow Scythe.

Fury ignores the coming attack from the Kobold pet, knowing that a single blast of Luljeta's Healing will correct all the damage to him for the round. He instead focuses his anger at the loss of Dancing Sword into a powerful series of attacks that serve his driving goal of eliminating Kobold Egg 1, 2 and 3 as well as the Imp, while simultaneously interrupting the Imp's hopes of casting a spell.

Lazarus blinks as the second round of combat explodes around him. He watches Fury unleash his might on the remaining enemies, and coughs lightly. He takes this opportunity to spend an AP and an MP and add a charge to his Heart of the Crypt. He then feels the rath of the small egg, right as Fury scrambles it for dinner. Just to make sure, Lazarus hits the egg that looks at him funny.

Vincent, seeing that Fury is living up to his name, decides to help in eliminating the damage to the party by quickly palm striking an egg as he casually flips one of the other eggs into Fury's path of distruction. Demetry does his part as well, first striking one of the eggs with a quick flip of his tail before partaking of an imprompto egg feast.

Perrian decides to help the party the ways that he can. Seeing that the battle will be over this round after Fury finishes releasing his anger, he decides to take care of the egg that has not been taken care of. As he charged a white energy in his one hand and Luljeta charges two balls of white energy, he ran up to the egg and stuck it down, preventing the use of its spell.

Perrian will use stunning blow on egg 3.
Perrian uses the ability heal (5 hp) on Fury

Luljeta
Luljeta heals Djanni for 8
Luljeta heals Perrian for 8

(Just curious, did you remember to factor in a regen 1 for everyone, except Perrian, last round?)

As the fog of battle clears, you find yourself in what appears to be a large dining hall; complete with a long central table, benches, and various foodstuffs that defy description. Nothing of particular value can be found by searching the room, other than three additional doors leading from the dining hall. the the left and right are small wooden doors, presumably leading to the common rooms belonging to the lesser attendants. Directly across from your original access point you see a much larger set of double doors, leading further into the heart of the mountain. The doors are solid bronze, depicting some sort of religious ceremony. The ceremony involves what appears to be a giant, worm-like creature being offered gifts of various nature; gold, gems, and living sacrifice.

Lazarus smiles at the adventuers. So far things were working out nicely. He moved towards the large double doors, and started to study them. Obviously the scene was depicting that behind the doors was the pathway leading to a dragon-like-creature, whom was worshiped, and given gifts. Lazarus assumed the other party understood the scene. He turned back, and checked the wooden doors. There was no telling what might still lurk behind.

"Master Perrian, I suggest that we might want to look inside the side rooms, before we brave the final stride. There is no telling how many followers or minions the lord of this castle might have. The last thing we'd want to do is to face this beast, and have him call for reinforcements. The way I look at it, the worst that can happen is that we waste a few minutes looking through empty rooms."

Perrian nodded. "You do have a point, Lazarus, but we also have another risk if we go through the other doors, what if one of the people in the other doors are able to, somehow, tell Rudolph that we'll be heading his way soon and Rudolph can be more prepared than he is now. If we go down the other doors, we lose the little chance of losing our little tatic of surprise that we have. But, then again, if we go down the other doors other than the main one, we could find something to help defeat Rudolph quicker. But, if we do go down the other doors we risk either get seriously hurt or worse. Also, what if we're wrong and the main door is only to an abandoned room and Rudolph, the dragon we're hunting, is through one of the other doors." Perrian sighed. "I guess we'll try the other doors of the common rooms first. I don't have a good feeling about the middle door and that ceremony it is depicting. I agree with Lazarus. Now...umm...let's do what Gerbo would do and pick the right door first and, if we get killed in that door, we blame Gerbo because we were going through the door he would choose. Does everyone agree about choosing the right door?" Perrian said and waiting patiently for the group's reply.
PostPosted: Sat Apr 19, 2008 10:10 pm

Vincent laughs aloud at Perrian's Gerbo comment and agrees, "Yes, Master Perrian. And I especially like the part about blaming Gerbo. Ha, you do have quite a sense of humor!" He continues to laugh for several minutes before it dies down to the occasional chuckle. Apparantly, the loss of the sword is having more side effects than just allowing Perrian and Luljeta's healing to work; it seems to be slowly restoring him to his old self...a "self" that none assembled here have ever had the opportunity to see.

Fury walks over to Djanni, collecting the broken form of his friend. Placing the bird's lifeless body gently inside his carry pouch, Fury turns to the party, the shine of tears evident within the corners of his eyes. "Forgive my distraction, I will strive to maintain proper focus in the future. So, you wish to go right? It means little to me, but if you truly wish to honor the memory of Gerbo, I would remind you, that his choice was always left." Waiting for the direction to continue, Fury finds a chair that is not covered in Imp guts, and takes a seat.
PostPosted: Sun Apr 20, 2008 3:52 pm

Perrian sighed. "So my memory fails me...it wasn't right, it was left...left it is, unless everyone disagrees with me." Perrian said.

Vincent walks over to Fury and places a big hand on his shoulder. "He'll be okay. We'll take him to the Angelic Choir and have him revived-as healthy as he was before." With that he gives Fury's shoulder a gentle, reasuring squeeze. Placing his hand on the bundle he whispers the still familiar words of prayer...words he didn't think he'd be using ever again...and reaveled in the feeling as the blessings of the Gods flowed through him and into the falcon. "Sanctuary upon you, Dancing Sword. May the God's blessings be with you, and guide you safetly to your resurrection." Vincent then heads over to Perrian, and standing behind him he crosses his arms. "Well then, Master Perrian...I say that if we are going to do this, it should be soon. Shall I lead the way?" With that, Vincent draws his short sword and heads over to the door, but waits for his leaders instructions before continuing.
