I really loved X-Men because...
I guess because they were all so unique. I loved reading about all the powers and all the different characters. I remember I looked up to Shadow Cat, Storm, Jean, and even Wolverine and Night Crawler.
People hated them, but they ignored that and used their powers for good, even to save the people who despised them.
I really liked that.
'Course, I prefer anti-heroism and villainy more than selfless heroism.
I suppose that's why I looked up to Wolverine ;]
I modeled a lot of powers the characters from Bloodline have on powers I can remember from X-Men. Just the more generic ones, of course, like telekinesis and the ability create clones out of nowhere. I leave what I consider more original, like Storm's powers to control the weather, completely untouched. Plus I prefer to make up my own. Replacing body parts is the shiz.
