afetr finishing her homework Kayla decided to send that email that she promised Rachel. she filled her in on the latest news and asked her how her flight was. as she was sending it the phone rang and she picked it up. hello? yes is this Kayla Rossi? yes, who is this? this is Mr. Revel i'm calling you about a document that was recently found about your fathers death. Kayla remembered that name. he was the guy that had handled her fathers will. she was automaticlly interested. yes what about my father? well we uncovered a hidden part of the will and apparently your father has left you a present for your 15th birthday which is tomorrow if this document is correct. with all the recent excitment Kayla had almost forgotten. yes thats right well we have sent it priority shipping to your present address and it should be there by tomorrow. thank you very much Mr. Revel my pleasure Ms. Rossi. Kayla ran downstairs to tell her mom. she got sentimental and talked about how that is so lke her father to plan ahead like that.

Outside, a man walked up to the golden car outside and spoke to the driver through the open window.
"She's dead alright. Looked like she hadn't eaten for a month. Another cat killed her by the look of it. She must have encroached on it's territory. Why she didn't change I can't really say, my thought is that she was high or something. Her being delusional would explain what she was doing here too. So that's my theory." The driver of the car sighed.
"Well, she never was that bright. Not very useful either. Can't say it's a great loss. Get in. I hate this place, I want to leave as soon as possible." The second man got in the car and they quickly drove away. The golden tom cat watched from the bushes.

That whole night Preston had been out to a movie with some of his friends. they were celebrating a good prank. they expected the next day for Kayla to pick up her Trombone and try to play but no sound would come out. she would look in her bell and she all the paper stuffed up in there. they would laugh as she tried to get all of it out. after the movie on his way home Preston stopped at his new job to pick up a uniform. as he walked out some guy came up to him and tapped him on the shoulder. when he turned around the guy just stood there. are you Preston Rossi? who wants to know you creep? just a friend. if anyone ever bothers you you can call me. the man handed him a card it had a phone number on it and ran off. what a freak!

John got home that night.
Well i guess i got nothing else to do..so ill just pratice some random song" with joy in his voice as he pulled out Low Rider (one of his favorite songs due to it being Trombone centered)

the next day in band the teacher was still out and everyone was around talking while Kayla set up her instrument. Preston looked over as she did this and started to warm up. she played a perfect c sharp scale with no problem and Preston stromed over grabbed her trombone and looked in it. where did all the paper go? what ever are you talking about dear brother? Kayla said in her mock caring and loving voice. YOU LITTLE WRETCH!! YOU RUIN EVERYTHING!!! i ruin everything??!! it's you fault i only just now started 2 make friends!!! Preston just straed at her then walked away. she wasnt afraid of him anymore. he would fix that!

Standing at the door he sighed..
"I hate moments like these...only b/c of the upperclassmen ..oh well"
John came into the room carrying his T-bone case..
"Huh no teach...odd..well this is gonna suck.."
"maybe i could skip today and hope the teach is back tomarrow...*sigh*"
