Sookie looked around the area once more. She saw all the people standing around, making a fuss of something she couldn't make out yet. She tilted her head sideways, as she fidgeted with her school uniform, walking over to the park area, and sitting down against a tree. She wondered what everyone in this town was so worked up about, but she was too shy to ask questions. She just looked away from peoples gazes and pulled out a book to read.

Nali looked at Sara and said "please. you don't know what it is like in there" she said "my father didn't either and he went in. he came back out and said it was terrible. then a few days later, our house burned down while i was at school and my mom was at work. it follows the legend exactly. my father was always mumbling about how he could pull that off."

Nali shook her head "i don't need anyone feeling sorry for me. it happened when i was little, but i was the only one who knew it was gonna happen. but i didn't know what to do." she said "and you don't have just Lucus anymore. you have me too."

Nali remained where she had been standing. she had hoped that her words had sunken in, cause she wasn't lying. she liked Sara and really didn't want her to do this.

Lucus looked over at Doragon as he arrived. He was going to say something, but didn't know what to say. He looked back at the struggling Sara and sighed.
Sara couldn't agree with her mind nor could she disagree. She shook her and turned to them. She took a breath and said,"Lucus, I will help you. No matter what the cost. But since you two want me to stay so much, it's making it hard for me. So....I will go into the house and stay here for a night. For the days to come as my time comes, I will try to find an alternitive solution to helping Lucus. But if I don't before I die, I will give him my soul." With that she opened the door and walked in.

Lucus closed his eyes and sighed. He took a breath and then opened his eyes to see Nali. He put an arm around her and it almost went through her. He took another breath and said,"Don't worry. I'm sure she'll find an alternitive. If she does she'll find a way to escape this butler. ....or make him her friend." He added the last part to try and make Nali smile, but it was also true.
Sara closed the door behind her so she wouldn't see the peircing eyes from Lucus. She looked at the boy that she had almost run into and walked over to him. "...umm...Hi.", she said timidly.

"I went into the house. . . Once. . . I was really young. I took one step iun and went right back out. I was so nervous I didn't even see if I had actually stepped in or not. But I think I did, because for the next few days I heard a voice, and then on the fifth day a knife flew right past my arm as I walked in the door from being outside. I don't know how it happened though. . ." Doragon had been spacing out the entire time he was speaking, and was still spacing out after that. He came back for a second and said, "Is she gonna die? 'cause she was nice. . ." then he spaced out atgain and started looking up at the clouds. The entire time he was speaking in a voice like a little kid's with out even meaning to.
