"You act like I have special Dragon Sense or something. I think we found them by accident."
****
Scarlet watched the ponies make their way back to her home. She had decided she wanted to leave but wanted her brother to come along too and the only way that would happen would be for the two new ponies to help her. She ran up to them, making sure her sisters weren't around. They usually weren't this early in the day. "Please, you have to help me, I want to leave, but we have to take my brother too!"

"Wait, slow down," Delilah told the child trying to calm her. "You have a brother too? And where are your sisters?"

“Yes, I have a brother, but mother covets him and he never has a chance to come out and play. I know he will like it outside much more if you can get him out. My sisters hate they sun – they’re just like my mom.”
Meridian had a lightblub go on in his head. “Ewwe – Sangula had babies? I’m surprised she didn’t eat you all up. Wait how is that even possible? Well, that settles it; we have to get those kids out of there.” He thought for a second. “Wait a minute – that means your sisters must be bloodsuckers too. You still want to save those Del, or do you think it’s best to leave them with their mommy?”

"Sangula?" Delilah whispered. Her eyes shot to Meridian as she remembered the one girl - she had looked just like him! He doesn't know... she realized and just as quickly coming to a decision. He doesn't need to. She couldn't bear to seem him hurt, not like that. It would be better if he didn't know...
"Scarlet?" Zarina called from the edge of the cave in a sweet, concerned voice. "Where are you?"

“Oh no! It’s my sister! Quick, lets move to the sunniest area and over a bit. I’ll tell you you all about my brother. You’ll help me right?” She quickly walked over and told them about her brother, how he was mostly kept hostage, and that he looked just like Meridian, with his spikes and tail.
“He is definitely a dragon then. Meridian, becoming more and more serious by the minute as the severity of the situation sunk in, realized what that could mean. He looked at Del. “These are my kids aren’t they? You said the gold one looked just like me – and it seems like there is a dragon in the bunch. They have to be mine. She must be feasting off of his blood! How awful! What do we do Del? What do we do?”

"We have to help them," Delilah said and shivered, it was if the area had suddenly been filled with an evil presence. She hoped the vampire would still remain trapped during the day. "Somehow..."
"Scarlet?" Zarina called now braving the sun, though it hurt skin, burned her eyes, she followed her sister's voice and gaped seeing the dragon and the demon. "You came back! Will you help us?"

"Yes but how? We should probably go now while she is at her weakest shouldn't we?" He turned to look at the new baby that had come out. "Yes, I'm going to help you. I think it may be a little early to judge, but I might be your father."
Scarlet looked at him with wide eyes.

"Really?" Zarina asked, her eyes as wide as her sister's. "We should leave now, before she wakes up!"

"Well then lets go! He started towards the cave, boldly entering in the daylight, blowing fire to keep things lit. Scarlet and Zarina, you show the way."

"No, no, no!" Zarina cried running to stop him. "You can't go in, it's too dangerous! She's set up traps through out the cave, deadly spells to keep all others out while she sleeps. We have to go now, get as far away from here as possible! Please!"

"That is my son in there. I haven't even met him yet. How can I leave him and my other daughter? At first I thought you were a little creepy and maybe not worth the time, and now I still think you're creepy - but you're mine."

"Please don't!" Zarina cried again, tears at the corners of her eyes. "You won't survive. Please Daddy, don't go," she clung to his leg.
Good girl... Sangula smirked deep within her sleeping chamber where she rested, curled protectively around her little treasure as she monitored the events happening at the distant cave mouth. She would not allow the dragon to reclaim this one. She had plans for him...

Scarlet wondered at her sister. Did she ever want to leave? Why was she acting like this now?

"Please, let's go - now! Before it's too late."

"I'm not so sure anymore..."
Meridian rushed in with Zarina wanting to do his best to help.
