Sabin didn't approach any further, but lifted his head with a widening grin at the recognition. "No fooling you." There was no surprise in his voice, only a note of condensension.
"And you can be my whatever I like. Deer, salamander... slug...." He whet his lips, the smirk staying firmly where it was.

"There cannot be two people on this island with white hair and a french accent combined, I know I certainly have not found any" her distaste was very evident in her voice, her hands held in a way that was a typical defence stance, she didn't trust him, not as far as she could have thrown her yacht

He looked at her raised fists and laughed outright. "What... you think I'm going to attack you or something? If I wanted to outright hurt you, there would be plenty of easier ways to do it." He snorted derisively.
"Besides, mon petite, you would hardly be a challenge if I did decide to do so." He waved his hand. "But that is not the point. You appear to have done a marvelous job of, in all your pointless fury, gotten yourself lost in the big scary woods."

Joliette glared at him "Whats your point, you've done nothing but torment me since I got here"she moved just a bit away from teh tree, which in turn considering her perdicament brought her a bit closer to him. Every muscle in her body twitching to hit him or kick him or something for everything he'd done to her

His eyes were not the smiling eyes that she may have remembered from her first encounter with him, and the last face to face one she had had, but narrow, sharp eyes that seemed to train on her every movement. He turned ever so slightly as she approached, careful to keep her fully in his vision. He moved smoothly, like a predator.
"My point is.... I can lead you out if you like...." The smile quirked up.

"I would not trust you to lead me out, nothing you have done has earned my trust" she watched him ... to do what she wanted to do soooo bad or not... that was the question "Just as much as I do not trust that you haven't given me something that goes completely against what you know I practise" she didn't want to outright say it, that she believed he'dd given her something that was NOT a vegen

Sabin shrugged eloquently. "Well. I would say that anything I would have given you would be by definition alone. It is against most humans' natures to ... listen to the beast within. Live off only what food one can procure onesself... be it grazing from the world around them, or taken with tooth and claw. To run about on all fours, too ... literally be an animal. Many of the Islanders may not have realized the full... extent.. to what that means. No matter how 'happy' or 'fluffy' their selection."
He stretched his arms up, threading his fingers together, and a few pops were heard. "Buuut... if you don't need my assistance. Then I can leave you to find your own way out." He smirked again.

Oooo too damned cocky, she looked up at him anger and hatred and loathing in her eyes "You gormless arse" she said spitting out her words she did something she wouldn't usually have considering he had not yet attacked her in a physical manner... she attempted to get him with a punch, quick and well what she believed was hard since it was just as strong as had knocked her sensei down. She didn't care exactly where it would land, but she tried for one of hte sensitive areas of hte body according to her knowledge

The corner of Sabin's mouth was quirking up again as she called him cocky. Unfortunately, by gloating at the insult he proved her right, letting himself offguard for a moment too long - her too close already - as he saw her fist swinging for him too late to verbally stop her. Sabin was never the fastest on his feet, and so tried to block it with no real technique behind it. However, by the time his arm caught hers, her fist had almost connected, and so all he did was deflect her punch a few inches below the solar-plexus shot that she had almost hit.
He still doubled over as the wind came forcefully from his chest. However, after that his eyes snapped up at her, flashing in anger, a snarl touched his lips and a deep growl was under his breath.
Joliette only had time to wonder if perhaps Sabin might be sneaking some of the serums himself when his breath, caught long enough to spit a "Subject Rigiel SLEEP!"

She smiled in triumph seeing the wind knocked out of him, and was about to bring a kick around at him when the words escaped his lips and she crumpled to the ground

Sabin angrilly stood over her prone form, catching his breath, letting loose an angrilly mumbled string of French curses himself. He shouldn't have let her hit him. He was clumsy. He shook his head irritably, and was about to turn and stalk off when he paused.... and turned around and looked at her body... and smiiiirked.
He knew the inhibitor would keep her out for at least a good two hours. Which was plenty of time.
He scooped her up, carrying her easily back towards the village. Sabin would keep his promise regardless of whether or not she had actually taken him up on it.
He'd take her back to the village. . . .
Sabin smiled as he shut the heavy metal door, being careful not to lock it from the outside. He was cruel... but he didn't want the girl to... die or anything. Brushing off his hands and pleased with his handiwork, he headed back to the labs, whistling a strange song.
Joliette, meanwhile, had had two of the large hooks caught under each side of her jacket-vest, so as to distribute the weight and not stress the clothing to the point of ripping. She hung, between two large halves of pig, in the meat locker.

*New Roleplay*
Emerwyn bolted as fast as she could away from the village, away from people, away from Ian. Her hardened feet hit the ground loudly, still confused between hoofs and human feet. Instead of being graceful like most hooved animals, her feet fell clumsily, and at odd angles. She crashed through the jungle, her eyes open, yet blind. Her arms were stretched out before her, shoving away the plants that obstructed her path. After only a short while, Emerwyn grew weary. Not physically. The emotion that filled her weighed her down. With a dull thud on the underbrush, her knees gave way and fell. She leaned forward, breathing heavily, mind clouded. What had she done? What had she done?!
The cough was returning.

Ian chased Emerwyn to the forest being able to keep her in his vision as she stumbled those times. His stomach cried out with every step he took and he knew he couldn't put it off much longer. He tore through the forest and as he felt he would lose it at that moment, Emerwyn stopped. And he stopped too, only a few meters away. He took deep breaths but felt the inevitable. Ian started to gag and felt as the leaf found its way back into his mouth partially digested. He wanted to spit it out, but how could he ever manage to survive without those nutrients? So reluctantly he chewed, unable to speak to Emerwyn due to the cud in his mouth.

Emerwyn breathed slowly out, then in, trying to steady herself. But when she inhaled, his smell still lingered. It was as though he were still right there, with her.
...
Her head turned very slowly, and her body slowly rose. She came to a full standing position, facing him. Her face was puffy and tearstained, and the cough burned in her throat, unable to escape.
She said nothing.

Ian stared at Emerwyn as he chewed willing himself to swallow. After what seemed an eternity he finally did get his leaf back to his stomach.. "Emerwyn," his voice was soft. "Why dost thou flee from me? Dost thou want me to leave, to go out of my way to disappear from thy life?" If it made Emerwyn happy, Ian would even do a thing such as that. "As much as that would make mine heart bleed, 'tis thy happiness that is what matters most."
