Tyson's eyes widened at the sight, before lowering his head. Almost every time, only two of the previous teams he was on had actually led succesful missions, the others had either failed or been suspended. "Some much for hoping for a succesful first mission."

Akira gritted his teeth. "We're not done yet...I refuse to quit here. Tyson can you track her?"
The head of the caravan went in front of Akira and smacked him accross the face. "Foolish child, you have already lost her. And to top it off you couldn't even fend off agains-"
"SHUT UP! I will not have people like you telling me I've failed. A shinobi does not give up until the mission is completed. It is something we bet our lives on. I will not lose her here! If you're gonna be a pain in the a**, you can stay behind." He turned back to Tyson still in a huff. "Can you and Aca track her or not?"

"Yea if you can find us something with her scent, we should be able to track her." Tyson said with a nod as Aca added in his own bark of agreement.

Akira ripped his necklace off his neck and tossed it. "It technically has my scent on it. But, the source of the tooth is her kinda hard to explain."

"I don't care about your relationships." Tyson muttered as he sniffed it differentiating Akira's scent from the other. Crouching down he let Aca sniff it before tossing it back to Akira. They began sniffing around for were the scent went, "Got it." He yelled running off into the trees.

"It's not actually like that." Akira whispered before sighing. I guess I should mention it. But she told me in confidence. It's too big, I can't. Besides if they're after her because of it we really don't have time for explanations on to why this tooth is hers. Akira nodded before following after Tyson.
The leader of the caravan shouted at them. "Stop! You'll only be heading to death...what about me they could still be out here."
Coward! Akira thought to himself.

Zanzu was still crouching down next to the small child, reaching out with one hand he used his fingers to slide his eyelids shut, a single tear sliding down his cheek. after a brief moment with his eyes closed he dashed after his two team mates, wiping away the tear with one hand.
"In other words stay here and die like a dog, you're not cut out to be the hero b*****d."
(OMG i posted...i know...With life on a somewhat slow but steady climb up i figured i'd try to get active again if you guys don't mind...I don't seem to have missed a whole lot so me slipping back in isn't causing problems is it?)

((Not at all life's been hectic for moi as well, and you can be my reminder to actually post lol)).
The man huffed before turning away and mumbling something under his breath.
Akira shook his head and continued to run.

Following the scent you travel across a sandy labyrinth of dunes only to find yourself in front of a cave. On the outside there is a sign that states beware of dog and the smell of rotting corpses fills the air. As you walk into the entrance of the cave you find yourself back outside about ten feet away from the entrance with no explanation. Other than your teammates the only sign of life you can find is a bird humming on top of a nearby sand dune.
((Oh snap I think that was either my first or second official third person esque squad leader narration moment))

Zanzu muttered under his breath as he looked around. "Akira...is this a genjutsu or what? Theres clearly something not right about this place...and beware of the dog? what the hell is that supposed to mean?" Zanzu was growling lowly to himself, becoming more and more frustrated with the events which were taking place.

"I don't know, we've been caught in enough genjutsu to get a feel for them. But, if it is one does that mean someone was waiting for us?" Akira quipped confused about the dog sign as well. "It's never good when they give a warning is it?"

"Yeah, I doubt they wanted us to know. And that sign about the dog warning looked like it had been there for a while, wonder what it meant..." Zanzu groaned as he scratched his head, unable to make heads or tails of what was going on.

"There damn well better be a dog here, or I'll be going back and taking that sign down," He muttered abit annoyed that they'd have a sign like that when there weren't any traces of a dog of any kind.

Akira chuckled to himself hearing Tyson's reaction. Akira then reached into his kunai holster and without wasting a moment he threw a kunai at the entrance. Looking forward he felt a shooting pain in his right shoulder as the kunai pierced him from behind. "Damn, well I'm going to go ahead and cross genjutsu of the list."

Zanzu blinked, looking at Akira as he began to spoke then froze seeing the thrown kunai sticking out of his shoulder. "Uhh, what...the hell? Now i'm even more confused than before, its as if its a technique to distort space like a summoning technique, but how the hell would that work?"
