"The mechanical bonds will come off given time, but I don't have the equipment I need to take it off. I stay here, because I know the stone will come back to me eventually. If I move from this place it is not likely to find me." The glowing red line of her visor fluctuated back and forth. On her upper body her shoulder were one of the few places left bare from the mechanical suit. They were pale with a gentle slope, both strong yet soft, one of the few signs of the living woman beneath the mechanical chains and bonds. She raised her hand pointing to Syx and Skarlowey over by Myke's prison, roughly twenty or so feet away. "Marshal, and the spy."
"She moves not for she wishes for the stone to find her again? Interesting concept...Asinine, but interesting nonetheless..." Cocking my head away from her and focusing on the newly acquired personnel, I began to head away. But as I approached the people before me, I called back one last time with a whimsical tone, "When I find the stone, I'll make sure to be the one to bring it back to you."

Lia nodded her head. "Those are kind words, but know I will be destroying the stone soon. This time I will not hesitate." She paused. "If you use it, I may have to kill you. Try and resist the stone if you can, that is, if it falls into your hands."

Syx's communicator started ringing.
Syx picked it up, swinging it from her belt with ease. "Yo, not dead I take it?"

"Not so lucky. Think I might know where the cards are. I've got a lead on all five. I'm heading towards one now. The rest are held by three different people. Garret has one, so does this guy my lead was with, I'll send a picture, and third is Pen, of course." Jarred sent a picture of Arix, assuming I got the name right, through the phone. "This guy has two, apparently."

Jarred was not in the prison.

"That little punk." Syx said under her breath. "Got it, I'll try and grab the cards from the convict. You grab Pendari's." Syx turned to Garret and pulled out her blaster, leveling it in his direction. "Hand over the card, Garret, or I'll stun you, search you, and get it myself."

How the ******** did he figure that out?? he thought to himself with a Genuine look of confusion on his face. He patted his back pockets, then his front ones. He reached into his left pocket and pulled the card out and looked at it for a few seconds with an expression that says "What the hell?" on his face. He handed it over to Syx. "I didn't even know I had that. The blaster was really unnecessary."

"Government. Freelance don't get this good." He winked. "But she's new, I bet the Kore were training her for months, needed someone unknown."
Syx shrugged, "haven't known many spies myself." Syx considered a moment then nodded, "that's a possibility, but would they really send someone new on a job like this?" She shrugged, "I'm not too familiar with the kore, other than for a few things."

Skarloey nodded. "Me neither. But either way, we have little intelligence on her." He raised his eyebrows as Garret handed over the card. "The other one... the dude you sent back to his cell? We going after him?"

As I walked throughout the prison compound, I wandered without aim. I knew not of what Syx of Skarloey looked like, nor did I have any prior information about their persona. All I knew were their names. And with that, I decided to call out without much personal concern. "Syx! Skarloey! I am in search of your assistance!" As my voice bellowed about, eyes around me began to fiercely sneer and glare upon my being with the greatest discontent. Nevertheless, I had to continue my search.

Cast away within the bowels of his domain remained the hollowed shell of the crazed and deranged soldier of fortune. There, he knelt within a pool of despair with chairs buckling about his wrists and ankles that anchored him heavily against the wall. All that could be seen within his cell was the gleam of his crimson eye burning with the impending hatred that flourished throughout his very existence.

That sole eye.

That very symbol of immeasurable disgust could petrify even the bravest of hearts. Though it was hidden by the shadows, its emanating powers seeped through. Such a bone-chilling feel one got from even getting a glance from it. And yet, such a desperate cry of existence came along, as well. Something underlining the malice and discontent that thrived throughout his veins did a feeling like no other. It was a bit of remorse. It was feel for compassion.

It seemed as if this creature of death and destruction finally took pity upon himself. But more importantly, it seemed he finally took pity unto the lives he destroyed. But as strange enough as it arisen, it collapsed without rhyme or reason. And with that very same spark of unexplainable disturbance, a new brew of anguish took form. Like a raging storm, the crushing waves of hatred and all its wrath rose above and overcame the sole man.

Soon, he was about to be awake.

Soon, he was to be reborn.

Syx took the card and pocketed it, making a slight shrug. "Yeah, figured I didn't, but it's much more fun for the whole drama bit. Can't help it, drama is in the blood." She slid her blaster back into its holster.

Her attention turned to Sun Kang as he walked in their direction. She looked the man over with her soft gray eyes. He seemed trustworthy enough, and she couldn't recall him as a prisoner or a particularly dangerous prisoner at least. She gave him a quick nod, her heart-shaped face bobbing along with the golden brown curls that slipped out from beneath her duster hat. "You seek our assistance for what exactly?"

((Aaaaargh... I don't know how long this guy has been here, since I wasn't paying attention, so I don't know if he's worth a welcoming party.))

"Yeah...I guess drama is good on occasion..." Garret mumbled. "How did he find the cards anyway?"

As I wandered about with a shifty glance, I suddenly heard a voice above the ordinary hustle and bustle within the complex. Mundane at first; it eventually broke out in its own distinguished way. "Huh?" Immediately, I cocked my head above; peering over to a woman and a man. She seemed innocent enough, but instinct knows not to trust on first appearances. "So...she must be Syx, then...? Very well..."

Approaching with the utmost caution, I began to head over; hands to my side and ready to reach for my shotgun at any instigation. "My name is Sun Kang. I seek the assistance of yourself for I am in search of what all beings on this ship are looking for. However, my reasons are not for grandeur or power--I seek not those materialistic things. Instead, I wish for the self-satisfaction of knowing that this artifact is real. Believe it or not, that is the truth." My words left my tongue; cutting through the air like a sharpened blade. I had no means of making small talk, let alone ideas of buttering up anyone to gain personal preferrence.

Garret glanced to Syx. "Any idea what Liu Kang here is talking about?" He meant the eye of course, but he couldn't let anyone else on that he was after it.
